Back in March, the COVID mantra was, “15 days to slow the spread”, meaning flattening the curve. (snip) What if the latest surge is just another political move, an attempt to influence election, now a week away? What exactly is this current surge? Is it a surge in positive tests, cases, hospitalizations, or deaths? A positive test alone is not a case, according to the CDC. The “case definition” of COVID is a positive test and symptoms. People who might have had a mild case a month ago may still have dead viral particles in their noses, triggering positive tests.

Without a doubt. Read also about plans to prevent GOP poll watchers from doing their jobs by keeping them "socially distanced". I believe the report was out of Detroit Michigan.

Then it's not working. Our lines are a 4 to 8 hour wait. People everywhere waiting to vote in person.

Yep, I think so. Who cares about the surge.....it's flu season. It's to scare everyone to vote mail in ballots. Well, it's not going to work. We are saturated with this crap and want to get on with our lives WITHOUT a mask and the stupid distancing.

Of course they want to suppress in person voting. Not me, I will be there to cast my vote.

Definitely. We got a corporate email a week or so ago encouraging us to vote. The first 1/3 of it was a veiled attempt to create FUD, and discourage in person voting.

Of course, I believe it because this surge is just too convenient for the democrats. What I want to know is the number of survivors and actual deaths by COVID-19. They word parse so much you can’t pin them down. Dying of COVID-19 is very different than dying with Covid-19. They are lumping all the COVID-19 deaths into one group whether they actually die of it or with it at the time of their death. Our goofy governor is a mess. He is democrat lite and is destroying our state with his mandates. It is shocking what these governors are getting away with. They are despots,

If so, it will hurt the democrats more. Stats show that liberal viewers of leftist news are terrified!
Worried about getting coronavirus: democrat men 77%, democrat women 80%, republican men 20%, republican women 29%

The answer is in the question. Of course it is. The reality that the President has gotten COVID and recovered is yuge in changing people's view of the danger of the disease, whether the individual is aware of the fact or not. The opposition knows this, and are trying to reinflate the fear factor to suppress the vote. I also won't be surprised to see more coverage of violence at polling stations either. They are pulling out whatever stops they have at this point.

I put nothing past the Democrats. I checked the spam folder on my yahoo email account and it was full of GOP and Trump funding request emails. No wonder they have raised less money than Biden.

The sad willingness of people to embrace the fear and wear useless masks in order to act in unison with some quasi government safety movement is scary. We now know how uncritical in thought and easily gullible portions of our population are and how helpless we are to get the truth out in the face of manipulations by global telecom antiAmerican monopolies and social media.

But instead, Iowa, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, PENNSYLVANIA, Ohio, and WISCONSIN, all necessary for Trump to win on his way to reelection.
GOOD NEWS: In Connecticut, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, Mississippi, New York, PENNSYLVANIA and WISCONSIN you can have a VOTE do-over.
Early voters are busy searching the Internet to discover how to change their vote for Biden.

Would the Marxists plant the Chicom virus in polling places to make sure people get infected? That way if the massive election fraud and cheating work for Biden and he is elected, the Marxists will convict anyone connected with Trump and of course DJT will be tried and convicted and imprisoned for their "crimes." Don't ever forget these Marxists ONLY double and triple down on their evil and they stop at nothing.

I never put anything past the marxists/socialists....shhhh.. here's a fact about Trumpsters... WE never give up... give in...don't share this with the lefties....WE don't want to spoil their delusions... they think they are winning because the pollsters can be paid off to give them results they want to hear... after all the pollsters need their jobs.... and the fake media needs a viable race to get their juices running....stay strong and determined....

I received 3 unsolicited calls on my cell phone last week. Robo caller, female voice, tells me "This is the time to be safe. Be safe and stay home." Very short message. I saved the numbers, all from a number in my area code - at least that is what the screen said. I suspect it was Dem dirty tricks, calls to numbers in overwhelmingly "red" areas.

Well, the media's objectives are many: Make Mr Trump look bad in corona world, right before November 3, scare people to vote early before the information on the baby Biden laptop becomes widely known, commit to mail in ballot, that could get lost, be disqualified, thrown away, delayed The way media has been.pushing early voting, it's obvious they are up to something and they should be answered with a big fat NO, we will wait for ELECTION DAY to vote!

The flu surge is expected and predictable as more people are beating their fear and coming out, but the deaths are down. That is the important thing. In my county we have 4 super tents set up at the hospital with beds for the alleged spill over from huge numbers of expected Covid patients and not one bed or tent has ever been used there.

Don't believe anything that's reported. False positives are rampant and are being used to discourage voting in person. Just use common sense and go about your daily life. I voted last week. The whole process took 45 minutes from the time I parked my car to the time started it up to go home. The line moves fast.

That is exactly what this is about. Fake more numbers to scare people away from the polling places so they won't vote. #1, you are right because one of the people who went through that so-called 'training' took secret audio recordings and then released them. Pretty clear they mean to commit brazen and outright fraud in Detroit and who knows where else.

The surge is in the number of tests that are being given - increases since March match more available testing facilities. Adding to that is seasonal traveling. Out-of-state vehicles everywhere with bicycles and kayaks attached, not that there's anything wrong with that.

As others have posted the early voting lines here (Indy) are 3 to 8 hr.s. I'm long, long past being a spring chicken and I've never seen anything like it. My gut tells me they're not waiting 3-8 hr.s to vote for a man that hides in his basement.
