New York state faces a nearly $60 billion budget deficit through 2024.The answer? Pot. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says legalizing marijuana could be key to offsetting the massive budget deficit and helping the COVID-19 torn state recover.“There are a lot of reasons to get it done, but one of the benefits is it also brings in revenue, and all states — but especially this state — we need revenue and we’re going to be searching the cupboards for revenue,” Cuomo told the Staten Island Advance.“And I think that is going to put marijuana over the top,” he added. The governor said he will “soon” legalize marijuana

This will be a big boost for the black market. You have to be a Dumb-o-crat to buy from the State.
What's next, government massage parlors? They'll be self-serve., if Dumb-o-crats run them.

The Democrats have legalized things carte blanche with prosecutorial discretion. Cuomo making marijuana legal is a redundancy, already fait accompli, so Cuomo's suggestion adds nothing, which is what his brain has always added.

Soma from "A Brave New World". Remember when California, Colorado and Nevada were all conservative states? All of them have legalized pot now. Oklahoma has legalized medical marijuana so it won't be long before it's fully legalized. Do you think they'll still be conservative after it's legalized? From what I've read Florida has legalizing pot on the ballot this year. Think Florida will stay conservative?
Russia like their vodka drunks. They're much easier to control.
But, the state gets the taxes off it, so there's that ... unless everyone's stone all the time.

MS-13 must have donated to his campaign coffers.
Hey Frodo, call Colorexico or Mexifornia and ask the governors how their Pot sales are helping their economies?

Well comrade Cuomo, why don't you use that $3B you stole when you ran a department head in comrade Clinton's administration?

That's exactly what they need in New York, something to make their heads fuzzier and slower. Maybe if you idiots hadn't chased out all of the productive people who were bending under the huge tax burden you would not be sliding down the hill to bankruptcy. PS: there will be no bailout coming from Nancy Pelosi anytime soon.

Pennsylvania is trying to do the same thing. This is another one of those instructions that are coming out of the democrat play book.....just like the one that gave them instructions on how to murder innocent elderly in the aging care facilities.

God is in control but allows human nature free rein until that Day of Reckoning. Once men, and I say “men,” abandon His Wisdom and Counsel, the cultural slide, however quickly or slowly, is irreversible and irreparable. Donald Trump is our Dutchboy as long as he is President. He is single-handedly slowing down the socialist juggernaut but it still keeps on rolling. After he finishes his term, who is going to fill his shoes? There are many fine and decent men and women who will do their hearts’ best to keep our Republic, but they are not Donald Trump. May God deliver us from evil in the final days.

What is the difference between government and organized crime? One calls itself a government. Cuomo is a crook. How many New York politicians are behind bars, Andy? Great example you set. You should be behind bars with them.
