Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is getting grilled in Pennsylvania ever since he said during last week’s debate that he plans to “transition” away from the oil industry. In three separate local news interviews in the key battleground state on Saturday, Biden responded to questions about his comment, as well as his mixed messages regarding fracking. “Look I'm from Scranton, Pennsylvania. My great grandfather was a mining engineer. So I come from coal country. And I'm not talking about eliminating fracking, I just said no more fracking on federal lands,” Biden told CBS Philadelphia. “With regard to gas, oil, coal all of it, the transition is taking place

During a 2019 Democratic primary debate, Biden was asked whether there would be "any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?"
Biden's response: "No, we would -- we would work it out. We would make sure it's eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those, either -- any fossil fuel."
"We would make sure it's ELIMINATED"

This would be his way of supporting other countries oil because we would have to buy our oil from them again. Right now we are independent of other countries. He is such a jerk in every way. He called us Chumps; I call his supporters Communists.

Joe's thoughts: I'll wait until our military aircraft can be fueled by solar panels. I'll wait until our military can replace our fossil fueled tanks, trucks, jeeps, etc. with electrics. We'll purchase them from Tesla. We'll have sufficient recharging stations all over the battlefields (as the enemy will stand down while we recharge). My idea about mobile recharging stations may not work as they'll also have to be recharged.

I know that one day we will not be using fossil fuels, however, I also know that it is not today or any time in the near future. Solar and wind will never be able to recharge the fleets of vehicles quickly. The only thing capable of supplying the amounts of power needed is coal, natural gas and nuclear. Trump 2020

The economic impact of destroying the fossil fuel industry is enormous. The number of people directly employed in that line of work is greatly expanded by the number of persons in secondary and support employment. Also, state severance taxes on fossil energy production helps local government services, parks, and many other quality of life enhancements.

His great grandfather was a mining engineer and he lived in Section 8 housing as a kid (he was 32 when Sec. 8 was established) and he's never made over $400,000 in his life, and he was tops in his class at law school, where he went on multiple scholarships and earned 3 degrees while living in a bLACK dorm, going to a bLACK church and lifeguarding at a ghetto swimming pool, where he faced down the gang leader 'Corn-Pop' and let the kids rub his leg hair. He really is a regular all American boy. Who wouldn't want to vote for him?
Do I need to indicate this is sarcasm?

While Biden was born in Scranton, PA, he left there pretty quickly and has been living in Delaware all his adult and political life. Biden always talks about the distant past but elections are about the future!

Does Hiden Biden not know that over 50% of oil production goes to things other than gasoline? He might take a look around and note how many things are made of plastic or have plastic in them. Or, the asphalt road he rode in on - to name just two.
