National polls have Joe Biden ahead. State polls are tightening, but still give him an edge. However, Trump is outperforming his polling in 2016 in many battleground states. Is Trump headed for another surprise victory? According to pollster Frank Luntz, if Trump defies the polls again, his “profession is done.” “I hate to acknowledge it, because that’s my industry — at least partially — but the public will have no faith. No confidence. Right now, the biggest issue is the trust deficit,” Luntz told Bret Baier of Fox News. “Pollsters did not do a good job in 2016. So, if

Oh Frankie, you did it to yourself. You and your partners in crime have been so inept and in cahoots with Dems instead of truth that of course no one believes you anymore. What is not your fault is that in the face of anti-Trump violence polls hadn't a prayer of finding honest results. Hell, people are afraid to fly an American flag now. But maybe there is hope for your profession. Switch to marketing and polling for Madison Avenue. They'll always want to know which laundry soap people prefer.

The trouble for pollsters is that the public they rely on to supply them with honest answers has become jaded and untrusting. Many don't answer the questions at all or answer them dishonestly due to disdain or fear. Perhaps Luntz should cut the nonsense and find another line of work because even if Biden wins Luntz is a dinosaur.

Luntz should learn to code! If the people who realize that DJT is best for the USA, will hold him firmly in their hearts and in their prayers those prayers WILL be answered. Believe in what you know to be right and just and hold it firmly so that when things happening behind the scenes come to light, YOU will have a share in the success and in the fruit that comes from those prayers. There are voters who NEVER EVER voted for a conservative before are ''secretly'' voting that way now. Additionally, do NOT give up on AG Barr. The wheels of justice move slowly, but exceedingly fine.

What public good is accomplished by polling? The folks who rely on polling are the folks who want to sell you something: a car, an app, or a pol. The hoi polloi don't benifit. The pols use polling to craft their public statements into a form that they believe will gain them votes. And especially in this era, when the Left has ripped off its mask and revealed the bare-knuckled Fascists they have always been, many conservatives will either refuse to answer polls or will give a false answer in order to avoid being "exposed" as an Enemy of the People.

Yup! What good is a propaganda organization that has no power to persuade? You have to realize that the polls are a tool that the media and politicians use to STEER public opinion, NOT to figure out what the public wants. It's easy to "divine" what the public "thinks" when you are putting the thoughts in their heads. Trust and credibility was KEY to this process. But a while back someone came along that liberated people's thinking and convinced them that the media was NOT to be trusted, including their rigged polls. The reason the polls now have a hard time predicting outcomes is because fewer people are allowing themselves to be steered by those polls and the associated media propaganda. People are also refusing to participate because they correctly believe their opinions are being distorted. Fortunately, the egos and gamesmanship of the media and pollsters wouldn't let them back off. THEY control news and public opinion. It's their RIGHT! Everything they have been doing makes their attitude more obvious and proves they are unworthy of the positions they hold. Their credibility is destroyed and along with it, their value. No tears will be shed for them. They have done enormous damage to this great Country and allowed massive corruption of our political structures. They deserve what is happening to them, with hopefully more to come when Trump is reelected.

The problem with Luntz is that he thinks we are still in the age of dial-up phones, newspapers, and when most folks told the truth, if asked. Today, many people will NOT answer a call that is not in their contact list, block unwanted calls, use the internet for news, rarely if ever read a newspaper, and often do not tell the truth, if asked a poll question. Who the heck are they polling ? The same people over and over. I have never been polled and would not answer a poll question if asked. It is no one's business who I will vote for or who I voted for. Months into the school year, school reopenings across the United States remain a patchwork of plans: in-person, remote and hybrid; masked and not; socially distanced and not. But amid this jumble, one clear pattern is emerging. So far, schools do not seem to be stoking community transmission of the coronavirus, according to data emerging from random testing in the United States and Britain. Elementary schools especially seem to seed remarkably few infections. The evidence is far from conclusive, and much of the research has been tarnished by flaws in data collection and analysis. After lingering in the backdrop of the discussion through much of the presidential race, climate change has been thrust to the forefront as the Trump campaign rushes to build a closing argument around Joe Biden’s plan to fight global warming. Biden's comment at Thursday night’s presidential debate that his climate action plan would eventually doom the oil industry unleashed a coordinated attack by the GOP in swing states. But the strategy of going after Biden on fossil fuels may be coming too late — by about a decade, experts on the subject said. Voters are far more bullish on phasing

Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed that he "never said I oppose fracking" when pressed by President Donald Trump on the issue during Thursday night's presidential debate. "You said it on tape," Trump replied. Facts First: It's false that Biden never said he opposed fracking. In two Democratic primary debates, Biden made confusing remarks over fracking that his campaign had to clarify. In 2019, Biden said "we would make sure it's eliminated" when asked about the future of coal and fracking; in 2020 he said he opposed "new fracking." Gov. Gavin Newsom just gave Californians more regulations for an early Christmas present — and anyone hoping to celebrate the holidays with family better hope there’s a gift receipt. Just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities, when most families gather with loved ones, California’s Democrat governor has issued a new set of regulations that bans gatherings of more than three households. Additionally, no indoor gatherings are permitted, so don’t plan on eating around the dining room table unless you lug it out into your backyard. Newsom’s ban on gatherings of more than three households means that a family

GTV, a Chinese dissident billionaire’s Taiwan-based media outlet, is releasing sordid, depressing videos and photographs of a person purported to be Hunter Biden engaging in sex and seemingly smoking crack. That’s not the big news. The big news is that the same outlet claims that (a) Communist China owns Joe Biden; (b) Joe Biden sold out CIA assets in China who were then executed or imprisoned; and (c) GTV has millions of images showing other presumably influential people in comprising positions. If all this is true, we may see a complete realignment in Western politics. The Hunter Biden videos and images are at GTV’s video site.

Chelsea Handler responded to ex-boyfriend rapper 50 Cent’s perceived endorsement of President Trump by scolding him and “reminding him that he was black.” “I had to remind him that he was a black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump,” the comedian and television personality told Jimmy Fallon on Friday night in response to 50 Cent’s viral social media post knocking Joe Biden’s tax plan. “If he denounces Trump, I might be willing to go for another spin, if you know what I’m talking about.” [Tweet] “Hey f---er!” Handler tweeted to 50 Cent, legally known as Curtis Jackson.

A wave of voters searched 'can you change your vote' following the final presidential debate marking the most times it's been searched this election campaign, according to Sky News contributor Lauren Southern. The election campaign is hitting its final stretch with less than ten days in the battle for the presidency. Democratic candidate Joe Biden still has a significant lead in all national polls and in many key state-wide polls, but the President's campaign has kicked into gear since recovering from Covid-19. President Trump was considered to have performed much better than in the first debate, showing more restraint than in his previous encounter with Mr. Biden.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden holds a slight lead in Texas over President Donald Trump among likely voters in Texas, according to a poll released Sunday by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler. The poll showed Biden with the support of 48 percent of likely voters, compared with 45 percent for Trump. The results represent a shift from the same poll in September, when Trump led by 2 percentage points. One difference from September is that Biden has expanded his lead among Hispanic voters from 30 percentage points to 48.

President Donald Trump will reportedly move to “immediately fire” three top U.S. officials if he wins re-election next month, and has additional planned replacements after those three are gone. The three officials who Trump wants to immediately remove include FBI Director Christopher Wray, CIA Director Gina Haspel, and Defense Secretary Mark Esper, according to Axios. Wray and Haspel are reportedly “despised and distrusted” by the administration, and the president would have already fired both—starting with Wray—if not for politically damaging headlines in the run-up to next month’s elections.“The view of Haspel in the West Wing is that she still sees her job as manipulating people and outcomes,

I write about my feelings not because I’m going to tidy up the loose ends at the conclusion with a neatly reasoned-out policy recommendation, but because I think I am not alone in feeling this way, and so I think my current feelings are pertinent to the public discourse. Here is the feeling I am having: I am a never-Trumper who is probably going to vote for Trump.

In the final days before the election, Joe Biden holds significant advantages in polling and fundraising over President Trump along with myriad options for a party desperate not to repeat the mistakes of 2016 but also tantalized by a potential “blue wave.” Mr. Biden’s campaign believes he is in a position to reclaim traditionally Democratic ground and expand the map, potentially running up the Electoral College score in purple and even red-leaning states. If the election were held today, Joe Biden would probably win. But there are strong signs that the race is much, much closer than you’d think from the news coverage. Donald Trump has a real shot at being reelected. First, the president is actually more popular now than on the day he was elected. Yes, that’s right. His personal favorability rating around election day in 2016 was 37.5%. Now, it is 43.2%. There are, in fact, hundreds of thousands of Americans (if not millions) who have grown fonder of Trump. We all know it’s not about the popular vote so let’s disregard nationwide polls that have Biden ahead by double digits.

Here in Middle America, there are small towns where going a couple of miles per hour over the speed limit will get you stopped by the town’s lone police officer. These “speed traps” are dotted throughout the region as, many times, a significant portion of a town’s revenue comes from issuing these tickets. Now, the entire city of Chicago will become one, gigantic speed trap. Mayor Lori Lightfoot is going to rig traffic cameras to automatically issue tickets for residents going just 6 MPH over the posted speed limit.  Correction*

The Rays eked out a dramatic 8-7 walk-off win over the Dodgers in Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday night to tie the best-of-seven Fall Classic at 2-2 (box score). Reserve outfielder Brett Phillips notched a game-tying single in the ninth off Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen, and Randy Arozarena was also able to score on an error by center fielder Chris Taylor and then a mishandled throw by L.A. catcher Will Smith. It had already been a wild game before one of the wildest culminations to a World Series game in living memory came along. Here's a look at the final play:

During the Democratic primaries earlier this year, voters who cast early ballots for Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar in Super Tuesday states found out the hard way that early voting can be dangerous. Both candidates dropped out before Super Tuesday, and voters who cast ballots for them couldn’t do anything about it. They couldn’t revote. The only state that allowed voters to change their ballots was Minnesota, but the deadline had already passed. Scenarios like this should have been the nail in the coffin for early voting. But the pandemic raised concerns about in-person voting for many and has caused a huge surge
