The pressure is building for NBC News’ Kristen Welker to address the ongoing scandal surrounding a laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden and containing damning emails, texts and photos during Thursday night’s final presidential debate as the mainstream media has essentially dismissed the story. "This is a moment of truth for Kristen Welker and NBC News, in which they are caught between doing their job or protecting Joe Biden,” Cornell Law School professor and media critic William Jacobson told Fox News. The laptop, which was first brought to light in reports by the New York Post, contains emails suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had knowledge of, and was

Oh Bull Corn! As if NBC would allow Kristen to even mention anything that might embarrass Hidin' Biden. IF they haven't mentioned his long history of inappropriate public touching of random females, does one honestly think they will mention Hidin' Bidens corrupt business. Honestly, the only pressure on Kristen is to prevent Trump from mentioning it.

IF she addresses it, and that’s a big, fat honkin’ If, here is how the question will go. “Mr. Vice President, how do you feel about the vicious lies that the Trump campaign is promoting about you and your son? Particularly in light of the fact that it’s been proven they collude with the Russians. You’ll have as much uninterrupted time to respond as you need.”

The pressure to bring it up is insignificant compared to the pressure to suppress it. Regardless of what she does, the president might just casually mention it.

My colleague at #2 above has identified the odds on strategy for the anti-Trump "moderator." If NBC cared in the least for their brand as a news organization, they'd be leaning on SloJo until he shrieked in agony. That won't happen, so maybe we pro-America Americans will have to flock to the polls November 3 and ruin the Bidens' year. They had it coming, in spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs.

Tonight the fool Juan Williams was trying to make "the Hunter Biden problem" into "poor drug addict, many American families know what this is about, and nobody will change their vote from Biden to Trump because of Hunter's drug addiction"......and immediately the other members of The Five said "It's not about drugs, Juan" She may try the same lame carp...try for sympathy for Joe having a screwed up son, rather than the tens of millions of bribes with at least 10% kicked back to "the big guy".....Slow Joe.

Welker: Mr. Vice President, as you know, the FBI has announced that Iran and Russia are disseminating false information in hopes of influencing the US election. Do you see the recent stories about your son Hunter's supposedly shady business dealings as part of that campaign of false information, and are Iran and Russia trying to undermine your candidacy?

One could justifiably wonder if Huncher’s drug etc problem is due to joe having prostituted him: joe needs an intermediary and huncher is incapable of earning an honest living. The more dependent Huncher is the better tool he is for joe. It’s interesting that professionalism plays no part in the crooked moderator’s decision- just “pressure.”

When Biden tries to claim it's false news, or whatever, President Trump can point to the former business partner of Hunter, and simply state, "he has confirmed those are accurate e-mails, just because the main news media companies don't want to investigate, does not mean it's not true and accurate. After all, they lied about me and my campaign being involved with Russia, claiming Russian collusion, which was false, and they all knew it was false even before they installed Mueller to investigate. But these same news media companies didn't seem to worry about the accuracy of the Democrat accusations by the likes of Rep. Schiff who claimed he had proof, which he never had."

The liberal Democrat moderator Kristen Welker is not going to ask Biden anything about politician corruption, and is more likely to bring up the Trump Organizations business endeavors in China before President Trump was elected. The Democrats have already insinuated that there was something crooked about those business endeavors while Trump was a private citizen and a businessman, along with the fact that the Trump Organization maintained an office in China for awhile after he was elected and paid taxes in China. But remember after Trump was elected, he banned the Trump Organization Fromm entering into any foreign business deals for as long as he is President of the USA, and that is probably the reason that the Trump Organization Office in China was closed after business operations were wound down. Trump has also donated his entire Presidential salary to good causes since he was elected. The leftist and liberal Democrats have been trying to remove Trump from office since he was elected, but because there is no evidence that Trump has done anything wrong he is still the President. If Trump, while in office, had done any business deals in foreign countries, even if they were transparent and completely above board, you can bet that the leftist and liberal Democrats would be attacking Trump 24/7 alleging all sorts of corruption and crime. It’s funny that Trump gained his wealth as a businessman when he was a private citizen and the Democrats want that investigated; but while Biden got rich when he was the elected Vice-President and a US Senator, even though President Truman pointed out that there is no way that an honest politician can get rich in politics, the Democrats want to push the many Biden directed pay to play schemes under the rug and ignore them? All these revelations of political corruption are certainly a big reason why voting should be done on Election Day and not months before Election Day.

Tapper: Hunter Biden Story

CNN’s Jake Tapper is the epidemy of modern journalism; partisan, incurious, grossly opinionated, and dedicated to his cause. Tapper was involved in a panel discussion with political commentator Bakari Sellers and made some startling statements about the Hunter Biden story that show what’s terribly wrong with journalists and CNN. (Snip) As an aside, Tapper and CNN didn’t consider it “too disgusting” to report on every salacious rumor about Donald Trump before and after the 2016 campaign. I wonder what changed? Did they suddenly get religion and decide reporting on Hunter Biden’s immorality was too “disgusting” to cover?

In my 2019 book, The Social Media Upheaval, I warned that the Big Tech companies — especially social media giants like Facebook and Twitter — had grown into powerful monopolists, who were using their power over the national conversation to not only sell ads, but also to promote a political agenda. That was pretty obvious last year, but it was even more obvious last week, when Facebook and Twitter tried to black out the New York Post’s blockbuster report about emails found on a laptop abandoned by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Years ago, a young man told me that his generation doesn't care about Rush Limbaugh or Rachel Maddow. Instead, they get their cultural and political information from podcasts and videos. And in the world of podcasts and videos, one of the biggest political stars is 36-year-old Ben Shapiro — who refused to vote for Trump in 2016. This time around, Shapiro has given Trump an enthusiastic thumbs-up, both because of Trump's proven history of conservative governance and because the Democrats have become insane. In a statement that lasted less than nine minutes, Shapiro opened by succinctly stating the three reasons why he supports President Trump in 2020:

There is no shortage of polls or pundits predicting the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. But “outcomes” include more than simply election results. Who is gaming out how America — and the world — will respond? We are. While national polls suggest an edge for former Vice President Joe Biden, the winner isn’t determined by national polls. It is determined by who wins the Electoral College. Victory is won in the states. Scaring Voters into Mail-In Increases Election Uncertainty Due to the political stoking of fears of contracting COVID-19, a massive push has been made, mostly by the left, to encourage voting by mail. This significantly alters the calculus on Election Day

France plans to expel over 200 radical foreigners after the killing of a French school teacher in what French president Emmanuel Macron called an "Islamist terrorist attack," Fox News reported Sunday. The 231 alleged radicals were identified by the File of Alerts for the Prevention of Terrorist Attacks, which French media say is a primary tracker of terrorism within the country. Of the individuals identified, 180 are currently detained, and French authorities plan to soon arrest the other 51. Paris already had plans to expel all the radicals listed, but the attack on the French citizen and school teacher accelerated those plans, Macron’s government confirmed.

But the fact remains that the polls could not be reliably trusted then, and cannot be trusted now. Many of them are intentionally designed to dishearten and dispirit voters who support the president.
