The Commission on Presidential Debates has decided to mute microphones to allow each candidate the opportunity for uninterrupted remarks during this week’s final forum. The mute button will be featured at the start of each 15-minute segment during opening comments, according to the commission. After that time, both mics will be turned on without a mute option to enable debate. The rule change follows the first debate between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden that devolved into a frequently interrupted shouting match.
Who will mute the moderators mic to keep him from answering President Trump?

Watch to see if they mute Biden when Trump brings up the Hunter laptop, or will Welker jump in to interrupt the President to shield Sleepy Joe?

Mics or not this debate is a rehash of the same topics from the first debate.
Normally, we would have a round on foreign policy and another on the economy.
Instead we get a rehash of my state's terrible forest management policies being painted over with false claims of global warming causing fires. *eye roll*

#3, that is exactly what will happen. The moderator will do Joe’s talking for him. Anything to do with Hunter Biden will be declared something that is speculation, not proven, therefore, they will not allow the subject to be discussed. Just wait and see.
One piece of advice for the President. Remove “I” from your vocabulary. Use my administration and we. Also be a happy warrior. Be upbeat and optimistic, but be prepared for the worst. This is the last shot the media gets at you in a debate setting and you can bet it will be contentious. Know that millions of Americans are praying for you.

Trump should declare at the very beginning of the debate that he will not address anything directed at him by the moderator, until she publicly declarer all her associations and work for any democrat person or agency on her CV.

The President should bring a bunch of signs with one-liners of the bullet points from his rallies. That would get both Miss Thang and Biden rattled. I can't wait for Biden to say something racist.
The article failed to mention how many times Chrissy-face interrupted the President.

Trump should have one of those wireless mics in his coat pocket. If they cut his, he can whip out his own (not talkin' to you, Toobin) and keep going.

Muting the President's microphone during the debates means the "moderator" will be in control of the most powerful leader of the free world. It's amazing how insecure the leftists are in this country these days. Truly pathetic the POTUS has to ask the questions during the debates that the MSM refuses to ask his rival.
These debates should be true debates, not moderator led Q&A sessions.

Hunter Biden's emails are by far Biden's greatest fear and danger. The moderator is going to try HARD to censor the President regarding those emails, as Crissy "little dweeb" Wallace did (quite effectively): "Mr. President, Mr. President, LET HIM RESPOND!!! and "Not now, that's in the next segment."
When Biden attacks (and/or lies) during question A and the President cannot immediately defend himself (or correct Biden's lies) during question A, the President must defend himself (and/or correct Biden's lies) while he's answering question B, e.g., "Going back to question A, I must . . . "
And when most appropriate the President needs to look directly into the camera and speak directly to the viewers as Biden and Harris did. That technique can be VERY effective.

The article above in the Must Reads advises PDT to start every answer with a question to Biden about everything on that hard drove. Let the moderator shut him off every time - what better way to prove media bias, the coverup of the story and to pique the interest of even more voters?

It is unlikely that President Trump will listen to anyone's advice on how to perform in this debate. He is completely secure in his own ability, partly proven by everyone telling him how awful he was in 2015/16 right up until he won the presidency!
I took an executive presentation class many years ago. The company's instructors mentioned the most frustrating person they'd worked with was Michael Dukakis. They tried to improve his body language, his gesturing, which was really terrible. He refused to listen to them, refused to modify anything he did. They tried, but his arrogant and stubborn personality blocked out any change. His physical appearance, capped off by that terrible image of him sitting in a tank with a goofy headset, was a big reason he did so poorly.
It's not easy for strong leaders to listen to counselors unless they think they really need to. If you listen to the President, he doesn't need input from anyone. It's just his style.

It was Biden who first interrupted the President. And Wallace allowed it. Only when PDT counter interrupted did the 'fair and balanced' moderator step in. Clear signal to Trump that the the Ryan debate gambit of 2012 was in play and the whole thing was a set up. So this should pose no problem. How Dementia Joe will speak coherently and continuously for fifteen minutes without a teleprompter remains to be seen.

Mr. President, the questions from Welker will be worthless and intended to put you on the defensive. Get a commitment from Welker that the evening will not be all about him. My best advice to you is to come across as presidential during the entire program. Provide short but clear answers to any questions, but, give time during your closing statements to highlight your many accomplishments together with the most recent accomplishments in the middle east. You have a million dollar teeth-showing smile Mr. President - we see it on your campaign posters. Use it sometimes during the program.
It will be fair game for you to point your finger at Bite Me and harp on and expressed shame for his family's criminal dealings with Russia and China, and Ukraine. Strongly refer to the msm's attempted coverup of the Hunter/Joe Biden scandal and demand that Bite Me tell the truth about his role in the scandal. Bribery, extortion, money laundering, insider trading, abuse of power as vp. Highlight the corruption in Bite Me's past, Mr. President. Make Bite Me babble away his time. Get into his head early and stay there. Keep in mind that Bite Me will be sedated to minimize sundowning, but, that the medications will give him a very quick temper. Make him blow a gasket. Exploit it.
Above all, remember that you will be operating in the msm's environment. Be ready for the scorched earth questions. Have fun with the evening and make something out of it. Let people see your human side from time to time.

Let Biden talk. He has at best a minute before he starts swerving and veering into the purple beyond. Don't fight with the crooked moderator or look angry and defensive. On tv, all of that looks weak. Stay focused on the three or four blockbuster issues-- the economy foremost-- that matter most to voters.
One of those "matters most" issues is the Democrat party under the radicals who now control it: hammer home "defund the police."

BFD. This Commission rule is totally stoooopid. Sure they can mute the mics. But that will only force Biden and Trump to begin answering each new question with, "Before I answer that question, let me summarize/clarify/explain my position about the last question..." There's no way around this.

Trump has to overcome the media, the elected Marxists, Soros billions, education, entertainment, all of the alphabet departments in government (DOJ, FBI, State, etc), every bureaucrat in the top three levels of management, an enemy that we have created that is no more deadly than the 1918 flu-and we have fully surrendered to it, and 99 percent of the Republican Party. They are all literally and openly campaigning for Harris/Biden and lying; ALL OF THEM lying to destroy Trump and therefore destroy YOU.

And if anyone, moderator or Biden says that President Trump has never condemned 'white' supremacists, Trump needs to have a chart he can pull out and show just when and where he has. If the moderator brings it up, President Trump needs to tell her that since she doesn't know this fact already, she obviously has not prepared herself for being the moderator and if there is someone else, more knowledgable to take over.

Trump should respond to every question with this: I believe VP Biden needs to tell the American people if he received any money through arranged deals by his son Hunter. I yield my time for him to answer. Dead space!

For my part, I am optimistic that this will allow Biden to stumble, fumble, bumble his way into nooses of his own making. I was somewhat frustrated during first debate because I felt our president didn't give Biden enough rope to make his (Biden's) own noose with which to hang himself--and we all know that he would. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out years ago, "Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving!"

If ever there was a human correlation with the cartoon Roadrunner and his nemesis Wile E. Coyote it is Trump as the bird and his enemies playing the hapless animal in pursuit. Every time they light a rocket it does a 180 and hits them in the keister. Drop an anvil ... and it hits them on the head. Every time. And this will be no exception.
Trump will ignore the question he's asked and turn to Biden and say: "You and your son are criminals who took bribes.... prove me wrong."
Watch Trump call Biden "Big Guy" ... alot.
Trust me --- Trump will get his licks in and then turn to the "moderator" and say: "Meep Meep!"

Same for the moderator. Obviously this guy is a co-conspirator with the Chicoms, Russians, Ukrainians, BLM, AntiFA, and a host of other leftwing loony bin types.....
Then, a detachment of camo covered FBI and Marshall's Service types swarm in and round up Biden, his family, his friends, his well wishers, and even the cameramen!

Trumpshould spirng anotyhr Octber surprise and his first statement should be a DEMAND that the moderator provides a resume of her dealings with and work for the Demonrats, before he will address any issue direct to him by the moderator. Essential for the audience to know where she is coming from and to look out for bias.
