Chris Cuomo: Amy Coney Barrett
not 'just an ordinary Catholic'

CNN host Chris Cuomo declared Tuesday that Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett is no “ordinary Catholic” and that she has a “fundamentalist” approach to her faith that many Christians don’t share. “She does have an affiliation in a religious organization, which I think makes her different than most Catholics,” the prime-time host said while interviewing Sen. Mazie Hirono following the second day of Judge Barrett’s confirmation hearings. “I think that her faith is by design more central to her value system and her behavior and thoughts than it would be for just an ordinary Catholic who doesn’t belong

Comments:

Chrissy only likes Cafeteria Catholics who pick and choose which articles of faith to believe, and discard those the Democrat party finds distasteful.

I don't know what degree of Catholic that ACB is (or if there even is a metric for this) but I DO know that Chris Cuomo is a blithering idiot who's always going to be in the shadow of his older brother who also incidentally killed tens of thousands of seniors with his equally idiotic policies in regards to COVID. I can also see that idiocy runs strong in the Cuomo family. The Stupid is strong with this one...

The Catholic church needs to kick out the prominent Catholic politicians who shamelessly advocate for abortion and other sins. They do themselves no favors by letting such things slide. Being a person of faith used to be a plus. Now, devout Christians are treated with suspicion and even hatred.

ACB is a real Catholic. There are millions of fake Catholics like Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, ones who either celebrate abortion or look the other way. There are socialist "Catholics" who represent the antithesis of Christian teachings. The Catholic Church is sick and in big trouble because it refuses to take a stand on many issues, because it has embraced socialism - an ideology that wants to eliminate religion, because it is silent in the face of moral relativism, because it has embraced pop culture, political correctness, woke-ism, and other trivialities. To say nothing of refusing to deal with homosexual pederasty.

I started out life as a Catholic. By high school I became a Methodist (at the time I was dating the daughter of a Methodist organist, but it did eventually bring me closer to the Bible) and now I am Church of Christ. Singling out someone for their 'fundamentalist' faith is wrong and support Barrett wholeheartedly. One of the reasons I left the Catholic faith at such a young age was the perception of an "anything goes" attitude regarding faith in the late 1960s. I wanted more Biblical grounding and I eventually found it with the Church of Christ. But that does not mean i disrespect Catholicism or anybody like Barrett who has grounded her faith in her beliefs.

Of course not, Chris. Ordinary Catholics support: 1 - slaughtering babies in the womb (abortion up until birth) and the elderly in nursing homes (euthanasia) 2 - forcing faith-based groups to allow people hostile to their faith a say in the groups' policies or be appointed leader 3 - secular magisterium declaring what the Church's teachings mean 4 - moral relativism And ACB supports none of those things.

California’s 21st Congressional District was the last district to be called in the 2018 election, with Democrat T.J. Cox defeating incumbent Republican David Valadao one month after election day. In a year of crazy election news, their rematch has become even more chaotic. (Snip) But in less than two years in Congress, Cox has amassed quite a reputation for corruption. While Democrats have made voter registration and flat-out voting a major message throughout their pushes for Biden, Republicans have still so far been winning the voter registration game. In the buttoned-down field of survey research, Warren Mitofsky is remembered as something of a legend. In the 1960s, he developed the exit poll for CBS News, a technique in which voters are interviewed as they leave polling places. Mitofsky, who died in 2006, also helped initiate random-digit dialing by telephone, a randomized sampling method that revolutionized survey-taking and was polling’s gold standard for years.
