Amy Coney Barrett will praise her mentor, the late Justice Antonin Scalia, and tell senators courts 'should not try' to make policy during her opening statement before the Senate Judiciary Committee.A transcript of the remarks Barrett intends to deliver the first day of her confirmation hearing on Monday was released to the media on Sunday. Barrett, 48, will speak to the Republican-led panel about how Scalia, whom she clerked for after law school, shaped not only her philosophies about the law, but also about family.'Justice Scalia taught me more than just law,' her statement reads. Graham is going to show us what he is made of and I pray he can reign the demented democrats in. Amy Coney Barrett is extremely qualified and so very impressive but the democrats may do what they always do. However, they also may have given up on harassing her because they believe they can cheat and win the election and then pack the Court. Let them enjoy this irresponsible fantasy. The American people are sickened by them. They are fed up with their lies and violence and want nothing to do with their anti-American socialism. We cannot allow evil to prosper and in order to prevent that, we must go to the polls in numbers never before seen. Confirm Judge Barrett and re-elect the President and we will be on the right path. Drive the democrats out of the political square. It is the only way to save the country.

The pictures and "Handmaid" meme is more dem theater of the absurd. "Handmaid's Tale protesters descend on Capitol Hill" is the headline and half the pictures are of the protest with the eye popping RED of the costumes but there is no coverage of the event in the text of the article. One protestor holds a sign that says "Vote while you still can", a extremely ridiculous sentiment. "'She has proven a mom really can do anything,' Sen Joni Ernst " Yes, which puts a mockery to the dems show. "But courts are not designed to solve every problem or right every wrong in our public life." THIS is a key awareness that is an anathema to the power grasping dems. The idea that government has assigned limits cannot be allowed. "HER BELIEF that policy decisions should be left up to political branches of government - Congress and the presidency" No, it's not a "belief". It's enshrined in the Constitution that laws originate in Congress and are approved by the President. It's amazing that Congress has allowed the power grab by the Courts that has happened. Let's get this confirmation DONE!

The Handmaid's Tale is a dystopian novel by Canadian author Margaret Atwood, published in 1985 -- 35 years ago. Judge Amy Coney Barrett was 13 years old at that time. Claiming that a 13 year old girl was the inspiration for this book is absurd! Yet that is the claim of her slanderers. Yet the the Democrats and MSM are perpetuating this slander. The facts reveal that this is a pack of lies.

I'm not sure what the protestors are doing outside the Capitol (I understand their attendance inside the hearing room is prohibited due to COVID precautions), but I heard a couple of the Senators at lunch time. Senator Horizontal Harris, speaking via telephonic link from somewhere (probably a seedy hotel room), gave a diatribe that lasted longer than her debate performance with about the same effect. Grabbed a picture of some sad, ill kid, that needs a couple MRI's every year and treatment for a congenital heart defect who (according to Sen. Heels-Up) would be dead except for the grand gift of Emperor Obama the First, Obamacare, and that Judge Barrett, will immediately upon her swearing in, make it illegal for the poor little girl to live and force her poor mother to live with the heartbreak of psorasis or something like that.

#5, your might think Senator Graham isn't doing enough, but he's doing enough so that the Dems have raised more than 54 MILLION dollars to defeat him. So far, he has done what he has said he would do. Perhaps he hasn't moved fast enough (i think this), I don't know if i'm allowed to do this, but if you can donate even a small amount it will help Graham's campaign. I'm going to send to all the Senators and certain Reps who are on the razor's edge. Our lives depend on NOT losing every Branch of Government to these leftists who intend to finish the Obama "fundamental transformation", which means destroying the FOUNDATIONs of our Republic --and that's the END. President Trump’s influential supporter Rupert Murdoch is telling close associates he believes Joe Biden will win the election in a landslide. The Australian-born billionaire is disgusted by Trump’s handling of COVID-19, remarking that the president is his own worst enemy, that he is not listening to advice about how best to handle the pandemic, and that he’s creating a never-ending crisis for his administration, according to three people who have spoken with Murdoch. In response to an email inquiry for this report asking him if he believes Biden will win in a landslide and his thoughts on Trump’s handling of coronavirus, Murdoch responded, “No comment except I’ve never called Trump an idiot,”

Twitter locked the account of @TeamTrump, an official Trump campaign account, citing the same policy it used to ban links to the New York Post’s bombshell story on hitherto unrevealed links between Joe Biden and the Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. Mike Hahn, a social media manager for Team Trump, revealed the censorship in a tweet earlier today.“Twitter has suspended ⁦ TeamTrump for posting a video calling Joe Biden a liar who has been ripping off our country for years, as it relates to the ⁦@nypost ⁩article” said Hahn. He added the suspension comes “19 days out from the election.”

The polls appear to be shifting in favor of Joe Biden. A commonly heard explanation from Trump supporters is many of the polls are oversampling Democrats. This is true in some cases but not all. So, is something else going on here we do not really understand? (snip) According to a recent Cato Institute poll, 77% of conservatives are now afraid to express their political views versus roughly 50% of liberals. This includes 40% of Republicans with a college degree and 60% with a post-graduate degree, who are afraid their political views will harm their careers, versus only 25% of Democrats.

Bruce Ohr, the senior Justice Department official whose conduct in the Russia case spurred significant controversy, has retired after being informed that a decision on disciplinary action was imminent, the department announced Wednesday. Ohr's decision will spare him any potential punishment for his role in providing information to the FBI about Christopher Steele's dossier at the same time his wife, Nellie Ohr, worked for the same firm as Steele — Fusion GPS, run by Glenn Simpson. Congressional Republicans complained that the connection created a conflict of interest. Ohr said his bosses approved of the arrangement.

The English department at Cornell University has voted to change its name in an effort to distinguish English the language from English the nationality. The department at the Ivy League university in New York voted to change its name to “the department of literatures in English” during its first faculty meeting of the fall semester earlier this month, the student-led Cornell Daily Sun reported Wednesday. The change would help to eliminate the “conflation of English as a language and English as a nationality,” English professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies Kate McCullough told the newspaper.
