Democrats delegitimize the Supreme Court
because they fear losing power over the rest of us

“It is a decision of the Supreme Court,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi said in 2005, speaking about the eminent domain ruling in Kelo v. New London. “If Congress wants to change it, it will require legislation of a level of a constitutional amendment. So this is almost as if God has spoken.”
This florid reverence for the high court ought not be lost on the reader, especially given where Pelosi and other Democrats find themselves today. As the Senate prepares to confirm President Trump’s third Supreme Court nominee, they have begun to say outright that the nomination and confirmation procedure outlined in the U.S. Constitution is illegitimate.

The judiciary was the last hope of the Lefties to impose their will on the people. Now that's gone. Too bad, so sad.

They were very comfortable because another of the bushes gifts Roberts was a reliable vote for them. Now it will be 5-4 and they know they are going to lose in a lot of cases. Watch Roberts become a permanent liberal vote.

How much longer must America suffer the mutterings of this demented old hag?

Krazy Kamala is running for President - she will be the same A-Hole she was with Kavanaugh, maybe worse.

Can’t win in the legislature, win in their second “legislature”, pretty slick but typical of Democrats.

Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Ilian Omar, AOC, Pramila Jayapal, Rashida Tlaib, Susan Rice, Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo, Maxine Waters. These are just some of the names of the people in government now who will have real power over our lives in a Harris administration. Not to mention California horrors like Chesa Boudin, Xavier Bacerra, Eric Garcetti, London Breed and a host of Marxists out of academia and elsewhere yet to determined, new faces filled with hatred for anyone who opposes them, who live on a diet of rage and narcissism and use it as an excuse to wield power over others, who will get busy eliminating their opposition either figuratively or literally. It is a terrifying possibility. And these are the kind of people who will sit on a packed court in perpetuity. Broken glass.

John Roberts delegitimized the Supreme Court when he declared that the federal government can tell me how I must spend my hard earned money that somehow manages to slip between the taxing fingers of government into my calloused hands. That is an abomination not just a lousy ruling, That single ruling in and of itself constitutes a revolutionary restructuring the role of government and its relationship with we the people. John Roberts and every justice who sided with him tossed our founders aside and replaced them with themselves. Arrogant twits.

Glad to hear there will be no visitors allowed in the Chambers this time around. No screaming women, no protesters, nothing! They should make them stand out in the Street!

This is in keeping with the Left philosophy that everything including the personal is political. They want to essentially destroy the independent Judiciary branch of government that is the hall mark of out Republic for the last 244 years. They have held this belief all along, but in the Orange Man Bad era they are confident enough to bring it out.

What really needs to happen is for the Left to be purged from the media and academia. Indoctrinating future voters and controlling the message to current voters is the bread and butter of the Left.

It's time conservatives wake up to the fact that there needs to be some conservative "legislating from the bench." The alternative is waiting and waiting for nothing to happen as liberal "law" becomes established law, putting down deep roots, making conservatives unwilling to upset these precedents.

I'm watching the Barrett hearing now. Some random musings:
Do we really need a Supreme Court (or any court) anymore if the Democrats want every judge to simply rule in favor of Democrat causes no matter what the written laws say?
Does Senator Feinstein really think that the jet-black dye she uses on her hair make her look younger than her actual chronological age of 115?
Is there really a reason why Judge Barrett needs to sit there and listen to all this crapola? Why was she even invited to only listen to these political speeches?

So true. When the Supreme Court becomes corrupt and biased, it becomes a danger to America. When it becomes the tool of the democrat party, it is not a court any longer, but is nothing more than hired help!

There was really no serious discussion about packing the Supreme Court... it was the swamp and media's attempt at making headlines to keep biden in the running....well.... more like stumbling...poor man...

Democrats say President Trump is an illegitimate President. They now say that the Constitutionally-prescribed method of filling Supreme Court vacancies is illegitimate and the Court itself will be illegitimate. If they take total control of our government in November, you'd better believe they will find the Wall Street Journal, FOX News, Lucianne, and the other conservative news outlets to be illegitimate. Then they'll declare us illegitimate. Get ready for a bracing experience in their re-education camps. You'll be released as soon as you learn to love Big Brother (as the T-shirt says, "1984 was supposed to be a work of fiction, not an instruction manual.")

As a conservative I have been frustrated at the loss of the Supreme Court for over 30 years! We thought GW Bush might change it...he didn't! His daddy didn't either! RINOs were appointed! NOW...FINALLY...conservatives see a glimmer of hope brought on by the election of Donald J. Trump to a court that will protect our constitution from attack on the left! I'm hopeful and joyful! Thank you Mr. President!

I'm still watching the hearing...
I can only imagine what Amy Coney Barrett must be thinking in silence as she watches the Loonet Toons Democrats frothing at the mouth with their hostile, absurd, non-sequitur assertions. Oh, and their massive, blown-up propaganda pictures behind them. These people need serious professional mental health services.
