This is disgusting and now you understand why I am skeptical of people. Elitist people. They have become so utterly predictable and cookie cutter. The media has to be in pursuit of the "big story" which makes them look fake. Genuine does not come to mind when I think of these people. If faithlessness were a dress or skirt slip, their slip is showing. Nauseating.

Maybe they should do an obituary on their own "News" papers. Liberals are a pathetic bunch aren't they?!?

Be careful. Be very careful, liberal elites. People who face having everything taken from them and have nothing to lose but their freedoms are very, very dangerous.

They start dusting off his obituary, and then they leak the story to tell you about it! Fact: obituaries for every major public figure have already been written. They're in the can. Kobe's was. Princess Diana's was. George and Barbara Bush's was. Barbra Streisand's is.The sole purpose of this nothing-burger story about routine newspaper operations is to scare the hell out of the American people. (Or perhaps the dems have tipped them off that another assassination attempt is coming?) The media's behavior disgusts normal human beings not infected with sick hatred for the President.

FTA; "We need to know who is in charge of the government,"
Check the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The people are and the president represents the electoral college majority of the people but the Marxist press wishes and acts like it is Zuckerberg or the Marxists in all the bureaucracies.

Maybe Don Jr. should stand in the doorway of Walter Reed with his collar turned up right hand inside his coat and a friendly baker doing the same thing at his side!

Well, four anonymous NYT sources swear Trump died at Walter Reid and the person in the limo is a stand-in...like Paul McCartney. If you run that video backwards, you can hear, "Orange Man Bad" coming from the tires.

These fake news sources have already had their obituaries written for them because they died and haven't realized it yet. After the election there will be no need for fake news.

These lib reporters are the "Baghdad Bob" in today's reporting world. For those too young to remember, "Baghdad Bob" told the world that Baghdad, Iraq was secure even as US troops were entering the city during the first Bush presidency.

It's not per se wrong to update the President's obit as COVID-19 is too often fatal.. What matters is whether the rewriting is done with sadness or with glee. I have my guesses regarding these authors. Since when do authors of obits need to be "medically knowledgeable"? I've read many obits; none included more than a 1 or 2 word description of the cause of death.

This actually doesn't bother me; it's routine for major newspapers to have pre-written obituaries on any major public figure. Saves the paper time because when it needs them, it need them fast (and detailed), but rarely knows exactly when.
Now the stories about the MSM wishing for Trump's death, I doubt those will ever make it into print. Though were it not for Trump, the collective MSM would have needed their own obituaries years ago.

Beyond stupid. Their assassination plan has failed. Of course, do they have a more direct second plan?
Secret Service needs to be on extra alert.

This seems to be my day to be the voice of reason. This is NOT a big deal. Media companies have obituaries ready for prominent figures. ALL celebrities above a certain age, and VIPs of any age, and Trump is both. If a celeb dies, they want that thing all set to go in seconds so that THEIR obituary is the one that gets shared on social media. When Terrance Stamp leaves us, no editor wants to pull out the standing obituary and see it reads, "Stamp's last performance was in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace." It needs to be ready for a last minute double-check and posting. With the advent of the Internet, there isn't even a day to wait for newspaper's morning edition or for the evening news broadcast at 6 and 10.
Democrats are being @$$hats about Trump's diagnosis, but this story is a non-issue. Just simple caution and people doing their actual jobs.

I worked at the CBS affilate TV station in Seattle. On one of my vacations I had made arrangements with CBS Network in NYC. They even showed me the video tape library of obtuaries of famous people, politicians, etc. As distastful as this sounds about Presdent Trump, it's a common practice in broadcasters and major newspapers to have obit files. How else can they broadcast, other than a news bulliten, a detailed "life" story of any of these famous people?

I hate to say this but this is S.O.P. for news organizations. Updating obituaries for prominent individuals happens all the time. I am sure when RBG entered the hospital earlier in the year, editors updated her obituary information and, so, they were prepared when she actually passed away without a last minute tussle. Mind you, I understand the thrust of this story, I don't like the way the President is regarded by the MSM. But it's a case of how small and powerless they really are for "wishing" the President harm. SNL caught flack over the weekend on how they chose to mock Mr. Trump's and his family's illness. Rightly so.
