A caravan of more than 100 vehicles driven by out-of-town Trump supporters brought Fifth Avenue to a halt early Sunday — the latest show of support for the coronavirus-stricken president. The long line of cars, trucks and motorcycles had mostly driven into the city from Long Island — grinding traffic to halt for at least 30 minutes as they arrived to loudly cheer for the president outside his Trump Tower home. They constantly blared horns and waved flags — with loud chants of “four more years!” in support of the commander in chief’s re-election bid.

I am a Trump Man, but I do not support anyone interfering with other people who have things to do.

They should have been on West End Avenue or somewhere on the West Side. East Side can be surprisingly Republican! But either side, love it. Bless those Long Island folks...!! Thanks!

Awesome! I love seeing our side do what it can to counter the left's evil behavior. These stories are good for my mental health & I'm sure President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support.

I was in car caravan today that went from Toms River NJ up the shore and ended at Ocean Grove . There was a state wide one yesterday that culminated on Long Beach Island.

Huh. I thought Cuomo told us nobody like him in New York and Trump wasn’t wanted there. Go figure. Speaking of figuring, how do YOU figure, #5??

Sure.....deliberately inconveniencing people sounds like a great persuasion technique.

Displays of support are good. Closing roads is not polite. I wouldn't want to do that.

#8, a caravan of cars from another borough drives into midtown, ties up traffic, and honks their car horns? On a Sunday?
If they want to alienate people from President Trump, that oughtta do it. If they don't, they should put Biden signs on their cars next time.

Holey Moley. Excuse the second post, but did I just enter The Twilight Zone, or Puffington Host? Yikes! The President of the United States was the target of an intentional hit, is in the hospital and his countrymen and women want to show their love and support. I’ve been to NYC many, many times. Congested traffic is an art form there, so it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Spare me the indignation. People showing their support for President Trump like this, in this city, is a BIG deal. Get over yourselves.

#5, with all due respect I doubt it will cost him any votes from NYC.

Supportes of President Trump gathered at a location that is relatively near their own homes and has an obvious connection to him. They chose to do so early on a Sunday morning when traffic is relatively uncrowded and for a short period of time. No violence of any kind. No burning of or looting businesses.

Did i miss the part when windows were smashed and stores looted? I didn't see fires, but then, this was during the day. I strained my ears but i just couldn't hear the f-word screamed from the top of anyone's lungs.
It wasn't exactly a "work day" such as deBlahBlah deems "work", so

The mayor closed the streets to paint BLM signs. Real Peaceful protests irritates the media & fake republicans.
