How ironic if the virus that Trump has long
mocked now helps get him back into the
White House

Just when you think it can’t get any more dumbfounding, it does. As events unfolded rapidly last week – from the disastrous presidential debate to a Covid-stricken President Donald Trump being airlifted to hospital – it was like watching the latest scenes in an apocalyptic Hollywood movie that refuses to end.Sitting in my home in the hills above Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, smoke from the still-raging Californian wildfires hanging heavy in the air, it is almost unthinkable that just 12 months ago, the America I love was booming, with record employment figures and a rocketing economy.

I haven't seen or heard anything from Pres. Trump mocking the virus. I've heard him talk about it in common sense terms, which is much different than the media and the democrats trying to ramp up panic. His attitude has shown leadership, what has their attitude shown?

#1 -- The charitable answer to your question is mass hysteria and by far the largest case of group stupidity in history.

I stopped reading at "sitting in my home in the hills above Sunset Strip in Los Angeles." What else do you need to know?

The President has NEVER 'mocked' the virus. He has been very unhappy with China about unleashing it on the world, and wants to get back to normal as soon as possible.
Author Graham is a liar.

I don't consider her someone who loves this nation. Not when she uses that Liberal word, 'mock'. Plus this is the Daily Mail, owners of a very sore fanny thanks to the Trumps beating them in court, Libel I believe, a couple of years prior to Trump running in 2016.

The President will recover and be back campaigning fairly soon based on his progress. The message to all should be that even with limited comorbidities we now have the therapies to rapidly boost the immune system and fight this virus before a vaccine is available. I doubt the President will have gone through a full box of tissues by the end of this which is more than most can say about getting the flu.
For voters they will now have to choose between a strong and robust President Trump that has immunity from the virus and a frail older candidate that may catch this during his term in office with the inherently greater risks. Should we take the chance of losing a new President in office or go with the proven and healthy President Trump? I know what the logical choice should be but will the nation agree?

What a moronic headline. He has always taken the virus seriously.

Possibly the stupidest, most vile commentary I've read in the last few weeks.

The president is only guilty of expressing that you can't protect people by ruining the economy and taking away their jobs. We have to have a country to come back to when this pandemic subsides. The skeleteon crew of residents in New York are going to wind up with no quality of life and sky-high taxes, courtesy of their saviors, Mayor deBlasio and Governor Cuomo.

In the last few days I have reached my limit. Even just reading and headline like this could cause me to blow a gasket.

The Rats' worst nightmare is that Trump quickly and fully recovers, proving that you have a 99.94% chance of surviving COVID, and putting the lie to their fearmongering and demands that we shut the country down again.

The Article is MUCH too long; a waste of time. The title is very misleading as very few of its sentences have anything to do with the virus. It's little more than a rambling, disorganized rant against the President. If it had been written as an assignment in a high school English course it might have received a D+ from a
easy to please teacher.

Shut up you insufferable english twits. Is there nothing going on in your little island? Must not be because every other tabloid report is some hysterical nonsense about the USA.

He's never mocked the virus; he called out the Chinese on the virus, but I understand how DM can conflate the two.
