A self-proclaimed “proud Islamophobe” who traveled around Minnesota spreading conspiracy theories about the state’s large Muslim community is now the Republican nominee for a seat in Congress. (snip) The fact that it has found even partial acceptance in the mainstream is why Asma Jama is considering a return to Africa. “There’s a part of me that just wants to give up and just throw the towel in. I’ve been thinking about going back home… like go back home for good,” she said. “I’m just saying if people like Laura Loomer can easily win, then we have a lot of work to do. And I don't think I'm cut for that.”

Islam is a much a political beast as it ever was a religion. And as such, it is incompatible with our own Western mores and specifically our Constitutional Republic. Sorry. But "Islamophobia" is a term being applied to people who actually know more about Islam than the name callers.

Pushing anti-Muslim views seems to be smart. They are 7th century, violent barbarians and will literally kill you if you "insult" their religion. They need to be exposed and people need to learn to never trust them.

It isn't rhetoric if is is as plain as day! Islamophobia is the sum of its parts: not fear of Islam, but Fear of Islamofascists (you remember, those people who strap dynamite to their bodies and walk into synagogues. etc.)

Attorney Ron Meuser told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the number of Minneapolis police officers who have filed for disability claims since this spring's civil unrest and rioting has now reached 175, with 100 other officers considering similar moves. "The 100 additional officers are doing their best to hang in there and not leave because they want to serve their community," Meuser said. "But if there is more rioting in the near future, I would not be surprised to see the number of officers filing for disability to reach between 250 and 300 officers."
