Communism is very much alive and well in China. The tactics of concentration camps and big lies sponsored by a corrupt nomenklatura killing each other for political power are the staples of communism. The tactic of embracing capitalism temporarily to save communism from its own incompetence was previewed by Lenin’s New Economic Policy in the 1920’s. The flocks of western intellectuals, academics and businessmen, that embraced Soviet communism in the 20th century have been replaced by a new generation, similarly duped, or compromised, except that the object of their affection is communist China rather than Russia. The demonization of U.S. police as racists

What kind of government should never be granted tremendous power? Any government that wants it. In the state of California, the Powers That Be don’t shy away from throwing around their weight, and the pandemic has seen more tossing than a Beverly Hills salad bar. One such case, if you please: that of Lafayette’s Merek Mastrov. As it turns out, the guy’s in danger of being arrested. And it’d be a shame for him to be taken to the tank, as he’s only 12. Nevertheless, under a new law passed in the fall, Merek’s offense could absolutely color him cuffed. As reported by iHeart.com, the preteen missed

It was recently reported that Patrissa Cullors, a founding woman of Black Lives Matter, was signed by Warner Brothers to a multiyear deal across all of its programming platforms that “encompasses scripted and unscripted series, longform series, animated and kids programming, as well as digital content.” In a statement released by Cullors after the signing, she mentioned that a reason for celebration is that “Black voices, especially Black voices who have been historically marginalized, are important and integral to today’s storytelling.” Historically, yes. Contemporarily, no. (This begs the question: Why are most examples of oppression from the past?)

Who’s up for yet another story about the indoctrination of our youth in the nation’s public schools? This tale comes to us from O’Maley Middle School in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and while still disturbing, it at least has something of a happy ending. 12-year-old Jackson Cody is a typical 7th grader who attends this school and his class is somehow being allowed to attend school in person. Recently, after the first presidential debate, one of Jackson’s teachers scheduled a classroom exercise where the students would discuss the debate and what they thought of it. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. Jackson made the “mistake” of saying that he

Not long ago, business was a very dry arena. If a company made a calculator, that’s all you would ever know. These days, it seems corporations have calculated the benefit of messaging. Therefore, they’re investing in the social and political realm. Case in point: Oreo has teamed with PFLAG — Parents and Friends of Lesbians And Gays — to release a special edition of its delicious, milk-ready mainstays. And not only that — the confection colossus has produced a short film about a mom and her lesbian daughter. As for the new multi-colored treats, don’t look for ’em in-store — they can only be won online.

COVID cases are on the rise, or so we are told daily by a hysterical media. Nine months into masks and lockdowns, with a presidential election just weeks away, facing a daily barrage of doom and gloom from the media. Are cases really on the rise or are these simply positive tests? The above article, one of many warns, “A startling nine states setting ominous, seven-day records for infections.” 39 states reported

Portland’s indigenous faction of Antifa militants toppled statues of Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln on Sunday, before vandalizing the Oregon Historical Society. The destruction was part of a “Day of Rage” promoted by the militants, who said that no cameras or livestreamers would be allowed. The extremists urged people who attended to wear all black. /snip for Tweet/ Using heavy chains, they pulled the statues down without any interference from city leaders or law enforcement. /snip for Tweet/ The leftists celebrated and cheered the destruction. One of the activists involved, Tracy Lynn Molina, posed for photos with the vandalized and destroyed Roosevelt statue.

Former first lady Michelle Obama offered a closing argument on behalf of Joe Biden (D) on Tuesday, telling viewers in a 24-minute speech that “our country is in chaos because of a president who isn’t up to the job” and whose administration and allies are “stoking fears about Black and Brown Americans.” Obama delivered an impassioned 24-minute speech to the American people, pleading with them to support the former vice president, who she described as an experienced leader who “understands the struggles of everyday folks” and has the ability to end the “chaos” across the country. She painted a dark picture of President Trump’s America, describing a country filled with

It was another one of those Jussie Smollett-like "hate crimes" that sounded perfectly made up to any well-adjusted person, which probably explains why liberals fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. A biracial woman in Madison, Wisconsin, told police officers back in June that she was attacked by four racist white men who looked like frat boys. The woman, Althea Bernstein, 18, claimed the four men pulled alongside her vehicle at a stoplight, called her a racial epithet, sprayed lighter fluid through her open window, and then lit the teenager on fire. a window at a nearby government building. While police have ruled out any

On the 197th day of “15 days to slow the spread,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom (Democrat, of course) has moved the reopening goalposts yet again. Originally counties had to meet metrics aimed at ensuring adequate rates of testing and the availability of hospital/ICU beds/ventilators. (Contact tracing was supposed to be a part of that, but that effort’s been a big fat joke). Once hospitalization rates, ventilator usage, and death rates plummeted over the summer Newsom changed his strategy and enacted by gubernatorial fiat a tiered system that completely ignored those metrics and instead focused on daily new cases and positivity rate. Now

Memory sticks that are used to program Philadelphia voting machines have been stolen along with a worker's laptop, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. The outlet reported that assurances have been made that the thefts from a city warehouse will not impair the integrity of the elections. "We are confident that this incident will not in any way compromise the integrity of the election," said Nick Custodio, who serves as a deputy to the chair of the city commissioners. Custodio noted that the stolen laptop was remotely disabled after the crime had been uncovered. The missing device “did not have any of our election material on it,” he reportedly said.
