It’s a curious thing, the reality that our friends on the Left choose to live in. If you happened to listen in to their takeaways from the first of three, 2020 presidential debates between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday night, you might be convinced that Joe Biden won the debate going away, the president was so obnoxious to Sleepy Joe and moderator Chris Wallace that it might be in the country’s best interest to cancel the other debates, and Donald Trump is directing a full orchestra of racist dog whistles for a citizen militia

Comments:

Kamel-Lah was easily knocked out of the race once someone (Tulsi) gave her a few verbal taps. She will be awful, once again.

Vice President Pence is always polite and ever the gentleman. That works against him. He's about to be attacked (again) for being an anti-gay Christian. He has to attack the 1619 Project, open borders, ninth month abortions, and every left wing nut job idea she's on record supporting, including California's racially diverse boardrooms.

I strongly dislike the term "our friends on the Left." People that hate our country, customs, citizens and the constitution and who willingly kill babies up to and after birth are not "our friends." They are communists attempting to destroy America. I'm also sick of those in our camp that would rather play pattycake with them than fight back.

A sleazy, dishonest, opportunist, leftist nut bag up against a strong Christian man of extremely high principles. What could the American people possibly not like? The best thing for Pence to do would be just let Kamala talk.

Part of the problem is that they think that Mike Pence is the evil man they have painted him to be. They desperately want her to make him look bad. And finally, they forget how poorly she did in the primaries (including the debates).

What has me bugged is that even our own side is semi convinced that Pence doesn't have the gumption. Never assume the quiet man is not capable. Lots of men out there don't blow their own horns but they do just fine.

It is beyond hard and difficult to keep my mouth shut regarding Kamala. What a horrid, nasty woman. Hillary was despicable, but and couldn't speak the truth, even if she sat in front of God. Biden lies as much or more than the Clintons. I can't stand it. The horrifying thing is Biden cold win. As Hrady said to Laurel, here's another fine mess you've gotten us into.

Three White House reporters tested positive for COVID-19 Friday after President Trump confirmed he was diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier in the day. The White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) said in a letter to White House reporters that the three unidentified individuals had all been at the building within the last week and that the White House Medical Unit is beginning the process of contact tracing for each person. The WHCA added that several White House journalists are self-isolating pending testing. “Due to cases linked to the pools last weekend and the large number of press credentialed for the 9/26

Employers added 661,000 jobs in September, pushing the unemployment rate down to 7.9% from 8.4%, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said in its latest employment report. Friday's jobs report is the last one before the November presidential election. The latest data indicates a labor market still trying to dig itself out of the hole caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which shuttered much of the U.S. economy and caused more than 20 million people to lose their jobs in a single month. Before the pandemic hit, the unemployment rate in the U.S. was 3.5% in February. Broken down by racial

The pundit class really, really hated the first presidential debate of the 2020 election. They hated it so much, in fact, that many of them don’t want to see another one for the remainder of the election cycle. "Tonight was the first presidential debate of the 2020 election, and if there is any sense or mercy left in this nation, it will be the last, too," writes the Atlantic’s David Graham. If the Commission on Presidential Debates “really wishes to benefit the American electorate,” he adds, “it should cancel the rest of the debate season.” “Cancel the remaining presidential debates.

Beijing — At least 5,000 pets were found dead in cardboard shipping boxes last week at a logistics facility in Central China, likely casualties of a miscommunication in the supply chain of China's thriving mass-breeding industry. "The station was cluttered with express boxes with thousands of animals that had already died, and the entire place reeks of rotting bodies," said Sister Hua, the founder of animal rescue group Utopia. A little thing like a pandemic isn’t going to keep the liberal municipal governments of many cities from continuing to prosecute their war on the gig economy, and that’s clearly true in Seattle. Despite having plenty of more pressing issues to address, with all of the rioting and looting going on, the City Council voted unanimously this week to enforce a new “pay formula” for drivers of ride-sharing companies to ensure that they receive the $16.39 per hour pay rate as regular full-time workers in the city. And the “formula” they’ve cooked up to do this is nothing but a
