As we reported, there’s currently a bit of a tussle underway over various details surrounding the debate. The Biden team is asking for two breaks in the ninety-minute debate. But according to Fox’s Bret Baier, the Commission in charge of the debates has set it as ninety minutes without a break and the Trump team is refusing any change. We reported that the Trump team wanted to check to make sure that there weren’t going to be any earpieces or electronic devices involved helping Joe Biden but that Biden was refusing the check. That was problematic enough.

Comments:

Biden agreed to ear check a few days ago. Flip and flop...

Some are suggesting Biden cut his days off early so he could get used to changes in his sleep patterns, more likely to be awake in the evening (debate time). Knowing that yawns are contagious, Trump should yawn when the camera is off him, Joe will be snoozing seconds later.

Trump should attend, and even if Biden drops out (puts a lid on it), Trump should take full advantage of the 90 minutes. I hope he asks Biden about the very most recent developments in the Russian collusion letter implicating the Clinton campaign. Wait until Joe tries to bring up the tax situation, and Trump tells the audience(many don't know he does this) that he has donated all of his salary since he's been President of the United States. That he actually still has to pay the taxes on it, which means he's working for FREE. I think people need to hear this.

My Suggestion is when Biden runs out of things to say before his time is up, Trump should point out Biden has more time on the clock left, and remain silent while Biden sweats out the remaining time on the clock.

What are the Bidens known for?? Lying, stealing, cheating, drugs, flip flopping, etc..... so is this new?? NO! But we should all insist that they drug test him and check for hidden devices... Brazille no doubt gave him the questions ahead of time, that way Wallass can claim he knew nothing about it. Don't the debaters have little notepads in front of them....Biden reading the answers off the pad??? I am not watching this senile creep. Apparently one of the drugs they give him (for senility?) makes him go to the bathroom all the time.... that's where the break request comes in. Possibly also, they want to inject him with something that he remains alert?!?!?

You know something’s up when the media bury a story that would have been a no-brainer for Page One if the subject was a Republican. A new Senate report exposes shocking corruption involving Hunter Biden, who made millions in Ukraine at the natural gas company Burisma Holdings when his father, Vice President Joe Biden, was President Obama’s Ukraine point man. We’ve long known some of this, but the sheer scope of the influence peddling and sums involved are stunning. The 87-page document also exposes Hunter’s Russian connections, including a $3.5 million payment from the wife of a former Moscow mayor embroiled in scandal.

“Teacher, help. The President is being mean to me.” That’s the rough translation of Joe Biden’s frequent, desperate appeals to moderator, Chris Wallace during last night’s debate with Donald Trump. The former Vice President came in for some rough treatment by the current leader of the free world. From the starting shot, President Trump was on the front foot, peppering Biden with a flurry of verbal blows: taunts, accusations, barbed criticisms for Biden, declarations of sublime political skill, triumph against longs odds, and exemplary selflessness for himself. Biden didn’t know what hit him. But he should have. And so should have his advisers and debate coaches. This is Trump’s style.

I know. A lot of folks are saying the debate was an ugly, insult-filled shouting match that barely got down to cases. Actually, I thought it was a highly entertaining exchange that helpfully spotlighted the candidates’ differences on issues. An ugly, angry exchange? Well, at least it looked like America. (Snip) Some say the shouting match must have put off persuadable voters in the middle. I have a different take. Voters who haven’t decided yet aren’t likely waiting for a nuanced policy debate. If they were, they’d have already made up their minds. Instead, undecideds haven’t yet focused as much on the issues as we political junkies have.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, gave 1.5% of their income to charity in 2019, records show. The Bidens released several years of their tax returns ahead of the first presidential debate on Tuesday, on the heels of a New York Times story on Sunday that claimed Trump had paid no net taxes in some recent years due to business losses. (The Times noted that Trump had paid millions to the U.S. Treasury but rolled that forward to future tax years. It also found no evidence of any links to Russia, as Democrats had long claimed, nor any links to other media-fueled conspiracy theories.)

Chris Wallace’s overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever “moderating” a debate again. Wallace’s performance was as Biden’s protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable. He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter’s criminality. The debate was so poorly managed. The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him. No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt. Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden and only one of them is sentient.
