A new study has found signs that the severity of COVID-19 — and the viral loads those infected carry — may be fading. Researchers at Wayne State University say that viral loads, which is the amount of the virus in a patient’s system, continue to drop, which could explain why the death rate is falling. “Dr. Said El Zein and his team analyzed viral loads of SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, coming from patient nasal swabs over two months,” Study Finds reported on Sunday. “From April 4 to June 5, a downward trend in the amount of virus detected in patients at Detroit Medical Center was discovered.”

That's what the nurse said who gave me my flu shot. They are seeing cases, but the symptoms are mild to non-existent.

All disease agents eventually become less virulent and the affected species becomes more resistant.
This is always the path of pandemics.
Less deadly sub strains are more successful at being transmitted, more deadly sub strains are less effectively transmitted.

This is why the hysteria has switched to "cases", since deaths are way down.

I have read so much contradictory information and outright lies about Coronavirus, Covid-19 or whatever they are calling it today, I do not believe anything I hear or read. To whoever bollixed up the information part of this, (Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx) thank you for destroying what little confidence I had left in the sciencey stuff.

This has been the most financially and mentally devastating continuing hoax. I agree that something nasty got to the older people and killed them initially, then that was the basis of promoting all this behavior modification and ruination of the middle class. Corruption on a scale we woud never have thought possible has been revealed to us and many in high places should wear the label of shame for their greed at other' expense and should suffer humiliating exposure..We should all be much wiser now. Revenge is sweet, eat well and build up your immune system and throw every mask on a massive bonfire.

I have commented previously that the PCR testing is being misused (intentionally?) by running the cycles too far out. Forty cycles is WAY too much, IMO.
The way PCR testing works is to "amplify" the genetic material (part of the virus) that you are looking for until you can detect it. Each "cycle" in the test (the number of which is user chosen) doubles the number of genetic fragments that were originally in the sample. So, if you start with only 1 genetic fragment of a virus initially in your sample, here is how it goes.
Cycles number of fragments now in sample
2 4
8 256
16 65,536
25 33,554,432
30 1,073,741,824
35 34,359,738,368

The software for the site goes bonkers with numbers and special characters, sometimes....cut off the post.
My fault.
the last part should have read::
37 cycles gets you 137 billion times amplification
40 cycles gets you over 1 trillion times amplification
From the article:
“Tests with thresholds so high may detect not just live virus but also genetic fragments, leftovers from infection that pose no particular risk — akin to finding a hair in a room long after a person has left,” Dr. Michael Mina, an epidemiologist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, told the paper."
Yes, this high of an amplification factor is entirely inappropriate for legitimate testing, IMO. Going out to 40 cycles, or even 37 cycles seems very excessive, and seems to be a testing protocol intended to find "cases" rather than sick people. Stupidity or political malfeasance? The latter seems likely to me.

Thank you # 8 for explaining that. And thank you OP for posting. This is good news. I thought that what was going on with the PCR but had no way to explain it to people. Gads! I still have friends & relatives in self imposed quarantine. Too many people are still having anxiety attacks. Too many of us have been left to our own devices with no medical authorities guiding us - except what we can find on the internet. Dr. Fauci finally was saying the other day that people should be taking more Vitamin D. That was pretty obvious at the start.
