Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., couldn't nail down a plan for what lawmakers should do if President Trump refuses to concede the White House if he loses in November, but said there will be a "number of plans" if that scenario were to take place. During an interview on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" that aired Friday, Maher pressed Sanders on the specific plan that lawmakers have in place in the event Trump refuses to concede, telling the senator, “I still don’t know what the plan is.” "There are things that we have to do now to make sure that Biden wins," Sanders said.

He has no integrity. In fact, i can't think of one political figure or Dem pundit (certainly none of the lefties EXCEPT Leo Tyrrell) who has any integrity at all, not an iota, not a scintilla. If they did, when they saw the lies Comey and Mueller and company et al have been pumping out, and every Dem on the various investigative committees KNEW the story was false, and Donald Trump was being railroaded, falsely accused, they would have stopped the outrageous travesty. But not one of these self-righteous, arrogant, power-hungry, power-mad, corrupt politicians has publicly apologized for the multi-year investigation and the stupidest political stunt ever, the impeachment while a serious pandemic was brewing in China. This outrage has cost dozens of millions of dollars, has lost... has DESTROYED public confidence in government, has hurt many innocent people, bankrupting many. Sanders is a fraud. a giant fraud. He claims he's a socialist, has three homes, one on a lake (did Hillary help him buy it?), claims he's enamored of communism (most socialists do). He's part of the seditious mob, he's a Quisling, a dolt, a greedy old pervert.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Hundreds of California-based corporations must have directors from racial or sexual minorities on their boards under a first-in-the-nation bill signed Wednesday by Gov. Gavin Newsom. The diversity legislation is similar to a 2018 measure that required boardrooms to have at least one female director by 2019. Like that measure, it could face court challenges from conservative groups who view it as a discriminatory quota.  Corrections*

Trump announced on Saturday evening that he intends to nominate Barrett to fill the vacancy on the nation’s highest court after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg last week. SAN FRANCISCO — California’s largest wildfire is threatening a marijuana growing enclave, and authorities said many of the locals have refused to evacuate and abandon their maturing crops even as weather forecasters predict more hot, dry and windy conditions that could fan flames. The wildfire called the August Complex is nearing the small communities of Post Mountain and Trinity Pines, about 200 miles northwest of Sacramento, the Los Angeles Times reported. Law enforcement officers went door to door warning of the encroaching fire danger but could not force residents to evacuate, Trinity County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Nate Trujillo said.

One lawmaker is fighting attempts to change the name of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial monument, after the U.S. Board on Geographic Names fielded at least one suggestion to do so. A California resident has proposed changing the name of the monument to “Igmu Tanka Paha,” which means “Cougar Mountain,” TribLIVE reported on Friday. It was a name given to the mountain by the Lakota people, who also call it “Tunkasila Sakpe Paha,” meaning Six Grandfathers Mountain. But a senior researcher for the board told the publication that even if the request for renaming was approved, it would only apply to the mountain – not the monument.

Last year, a political party in Germany provoked controversy when it used the following painting in its election campaign to illustrate one of the reasons it was against immigration. Painted in France in 1866 and titled "Slave Market," the painting was described as "show[ing] a black, apparently Muslim slave trader displaying a naked young woman with much lighter skin to a group of men for examination," probably in North Africa. The Alternative for Germany party (AfD) put up several posters of this painting with the slogan, "So that Europe won't become Eurabia." With 24 hours having passed since the first presidential debate, it’s becoming clear that Trump won in a big way. It wasn’t an apparent victory, but it was a real one: He showed his base and ordinary Americans that he will always fight while forcing Biden to disavow both his hard-left base and the last of the old-fashioned Democrats who still support him Don’t pay too much attention to the pessimistic pundits. The worriers worried, the haters hated, the ambivalent were ambivalent, the cheerleaders cheered. Personality may not be destiny, but it determines post-debates reviews.
