After nearly one year, questions remain unanswered about whether the Chinese coronavirus was natural or man-made and whether its release into the world was accidental or malicious.
Chinese scientist Li-Meng Yan has stirred up media attention with her claim that the coronavirus connected with COVID-19 is the result of Chinese bioengineering. She’s been saying this for a while, but the renewed attention follows a paper she and her coauthors uploaded to a public research repository. Tucker Carlson recently interviewed her on his popular Fox News show, where she went so far as to claim that Chinese authorities not only created the bug but released it on the world intentionally.

This article is worthless. It says there is no evidence that the virus was man made, then admits no one has reviewed the evidence. Then the article says there is no evidence that China released the virus intentionally, then admits no one has investigated the question. So in the end, we are right back with the postulated questions, with no investigation made, because the Chinese haven't allowed one, and those running the lab have disappeared.

If someone REALLY wanted to find out, they could. But the media would never let it see the light of day. Only sites like Q et al would carry it. Maybe Bongino.

I guess it comes down to one's opinion.
I can express mine.
Yes: the Chinese produced this virus as a weapon and yes they released it.
I may as well add that IMO the Democrats knew they could not beat Trump as long as our economy was going so well..
Biden and his son had monetary dealings with China before the virus was let out.
Biden is the Democrats pick for President.
Can we put two and two together and does it add up to the Chinese wanting Biden in the White House and did the Democrats and Biden and the Chinese work together in this thing.?

This article is a Red Herring/Trojan Horse. The authors use False Premise(s) to argue False Point(s).
In Feb/March 2020, 2 or 3 European Researchers published articles and provided interviews explaining that under Electron Microscope Analysis of the virus, they identified structures never before observed in nature but are present in the lab.
Not Proof Positive of BioEngineering but strong indicators of Skulduggery.
It has been my opinion, since Feb, that the CCP created this virus with the intent to Grievously Damage Western Economies and Destroy President Trump's Presidency because of his actions to stop the CCP's attempt of World Economic Dominance.
Thank God that America, under Mr Trump's leadership, is strong enough to recover from this Attack.
It is also my opinion that Mr Trump, and his team, have known from early on exactly what the CCP did......

Agree with #7. The virus is retaliation for economic and trade policies. Intentional disruption of our economy and the Trump administration. I would not be surprised, based on rumblings over the past 6 months, that the democrats have some complicity.

The virus is a Chinese bioweapon that got away before their vaccine was ready. It is a combination of viruses found to be virulent and sticky in humans. They lost control of an early limited test on humans and it has now spread world wide. The virus and vaccine are designed and planned to infect large numbers of non Chinese and give China military and economic control of the world. They have committed an act of war and a crime against humanity.

...Was discussing this topic with a friend and she said " No way ...the Chinese would not intentionally let loose such a virus on the World " ...??
...My response was..."You are thinking like a rational person. But the Chinese are not like us. Their Government ,and the thugs in The Red Guard ( their version of antifa) , killed 60 MILLION of their own people in the 1950- 60's !!...Do you think they really care about killing a few million "round eys" if it suits them? "
..It is sickening that the World , other than Trump, is afraid to call out China for what it has done.

The short answer is yes. It's timing of release is suspect right after the tariffs, and with the upcoming elections. It hasn't acted like a natural virus which does not do well in warm and hot weather. But most of all, it's pretty much confirmed that this virus came from a bio lab where bio weapons are probably produced. The real issue besides the fact that this virus was released, is that the lab itself received money from the U.S. Who and why is responsible for giving taxpayer money to a Chinese bio lab?

I believe #9 got it exactly right. The Wuhan virus is indeed an engineered bioweapon, designed in a CCP bioweapons lab, that prematurely got released before the Chinese had a vaccine. There are multiple international evaluations of the exact construction of this virus that confirm it is not a naturally occurring virus.
Now the question is, what is the correct response? To answer that, we should consider what we would have done if a CCP missile had struck our country, even "accidentally," and ended up killing over 200,000 Americans, injuring millions, crippling our economy, and requiring the enforced lockdown and isolation of almost the entire country for almost a year (so far). Not to mention the similar impact on most of our allies. That puts the seriousness of this attack into proper perspective.

Why are there so many defenders of the CCP position in the West when they still refuse to cooperate with international scientists and release their own evidence for public review? Why did they push the wet market origin and deny human to human transmission when their own scientists were disappeared for revealing the truth to the world? Why didn't they block international travel when the shut down domestic travel in China once they new it was transmissible? Why is this virus optimized to bind to the human ACE2 receptor and not the hat's? If someone acts in a guilty way it adds to my presumption that they may have something to hide.

Without evidence, it is just a hypothesis. But I think it's a reasonable hypothesis that China released it in retaliation for tariffs, etc., as #8 said. Look how they carefully confined it to only one province. So some people died. The ends justify the means, etc.

The CCP has made a billion dollar industry out of organ harvesting from their political prisoners. The civilized world is incapable of even comprehending their murderous brutality. So yes, they are quite capable of killing their own people to cover their heinous acts.

Hard to know if the female Chinese scientist is right or not.
Do not entirely discount that the Chinese may have some reason to try to get this called a bioweapon, then prove that it isn't some way.
Never trust the ChiComs.

Whether or not the CCP engineered the virus, it was unleashed under their watch and killed 200,000 Americans and ruined millions of businesses or futures. Unless there is a valid “Whoops” defense in the law the leadership should be made to pay. In a perfect world their leaders would be shot.

What is this “accidental release” drivel? The release was done as a test of the infectivity as a virus, in a densely populated, controlled population so as to establish a large number of disease vectors at the outset. The test was globally, enormously successful but linked to a comparatively bland disease entity, the WuFlu.
The next well-timed release will use a virus with a similar infection mechanism carrying different epitopes to avoid existing COVID-19 B- and T-cell immunity. The devil’s bioengineers will be able to link it to whatever serious disease entity they choose. Polio? Spanish 1918 flu? Ebola?
Clever people, those ChiComs.
