Senator Rand Paul confronted Dr. Anthony Fauci today about his history of false claims, lies and manipulative statements surrounding the COVID-19 virus and direction for U.S. mitigation efforts. It’s about time someone called the baby ugly.
Anthony Fauci, a political ideologue and leftist advocate, was the primary government influence that has led to trillions in economic damage and impacted the lives of all Americans with false assertions and brutally political virus mitigation efforts. (Video)COVID-19 hype was a political effort with assistance from U.S. media.

Should rid ourselves of the CDC, for that matter.

Fauci's overall COVID-19 performance was about as successful as his attempted baseball pitch from the pitcher's mound to home plate. Short of his target and much too far to the left.

Not fair. Fauci didn't have a chance to consult his advisors, Flip and Flop.

I would be embarrassed if I were in Fauci's shoes, specially how he got into the heated exchange with Rand Paul

Can’t wait for an unleashed President Trump after his re-election and GOP control of all three branches! Fauci and Birx gone. Wray gone, Sec. Esper gone, dirty cops Comey etc. imprisoned! Planned Parenthood defunded. Pelosi & Schumer reduced to whining. 2020 will go out like a Trump lion!

How did Dr. Fauci get to be the last word on anything Covid related? He may be the head of whatever department, so what! There are lots of other doctors who could hold the same type of job and come to different conclusions than Dr. Fauci. Senator Dr. Rand Paul is one of those people. He cited an article that Fauci didn't agree with. Just because Fauci didn't agree, doesn't mean it was wrong. Maybe Fauci is the one not following the science.

I agree with Senator Paul, who expresses opposing views to Dr. Fauci. Dr. Fauci dismissed Paul as being Rand Paul, but did not answer any of Senator Paul's evidence. The left never answers, having none.

Vitamin D has proven to help boost initial immune response and studies have shown higher rates of death in patients deficient in vitamin D. What foods are extremely high in Vitamin D that are eaten regularly in Sweden? Salmon, Sardines, Herring, Cod and Cod liver oil. So, maybe Sweden has done better because they have a diet rich in Vitamin D even though they may not get as much sunlight in the winter. These are the kind if things that should be studied.

I have never understood why Faucci has been the lead in this mess when we have a Surgeon general who is supposed to tell the US about health issues.

and, #9, SUNSHINE! Get outside, get some sun and fresh air. Exercise those lungs, deep breathing, slowly exhale through tight lips (a great-uncle pulmonologist developed this exercise to strengthen and expand lungs).
Fauci has been all over the map: no mask, mask; distance, no distance, make the distance wider; school, no school on and on and on. Same with Redfield at CDC.

Sorry for he 2nd post but important to note the Sweden and the other Nordic countries have very short days in the summer with little sunlight so relying on sunlight for vitamin D is not possible. Then there is the matter of having your entire body covered so you don't freeze to death so very little sunshine can actually hit your skin surface. People in Alaska have told me in the winter they have to remember to go out for lunch or they could go all week without seeing the sunshine in the middle of the winter.

Fauci functions in 1984, where what he says today is unchallengeable truth, even though it is the opposite of what he claimed the day before, which in turn was different than the day before yesterday. He has the gall to wonder why people don't automatically accept every pearl of wisdom that drops from his lips. It's hard to outdo a politician in this, but he's made a sustained effort.

According to a retired neurologist, long-term mask wearing could cause serious side effects that “can vary from headaches to increased airway resistance, carbon dioxide accumulation, to hypoxia, all the way to serious life threatening complications.” Effects vary depending on the type of mask being used, cloth, paper surgical, or N95 respirator masks. The N95 masks, if worn for hours, can lead to a loss of consciousness. Masks could put people at greater risk of infections and, if so, worse outcomes.
Initially, it was assumed that the coronavirus behaved like other respiratory viruses insofar as spread as well as symptoms. A 2012 study, “The use of masks and respirators to prevent transmission of influenza: A systematic review of the scientific evidence” looked at 17 of the best studies and concluded: “None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”
