Rep. Jerry Nadler punched back at Republicans proposing to confirm a new Supreme Court justice before the next term by suggesting Democrats add seats to the bench if they win control of the Senate in Novembe “If Sen. McConnell and @SenateGOP were to force through a nominee during the lame duck session—before a new Senate and President can take office—then the incoming Senate should immediately move to expand the Supreme Court,” Nadler wrote on Twitter.
“Filling the SCOTUS vacancy during a lame duck session, after the American people have voted for new leadership, is undemocratic and a clear violation of the public trust in elected officials

As expected of Congress critter ignorance, Nadler doesn't know that the court size is set by law and the law change requires 60 votes in the Senate and control of the House and WhiteHouse.

If you can't beat 'um, cheat 'um. Different rules for Democrats than Republicans, like Massachusetts keeps changing the Governors role in filling vacancies so only Democrat Governors have that authority, or Borking and Nuclear Options on Judges. They refuse to realize that we are no longer Chump, Inc. and are perfectly willing to use their shameless tactics against them.

Jerrold has never had an original thought in his porcine life. Too busy wondering where the candy bars are hidden and when the next meal will be served. This bright idea is the latest meme in Liberalworld. It is all over the media. And not from Jerrold.

The federal judiciary has allowed itself to become so partisan and so politicized that it ceases to be a legitimate institution.
It must be dissolved. The nation is better served with elected politicians who can be recalled at the ballot box, not with an un-accountable cabal of authoritarian tyrants.

It's amazing how quickly today's Democrats have been exposed for their true agenda, and it started with the 2016 spying on the Trump campaign, and their insistence to use a made-up story about Russians interfering in the election (but not changing any votes or affecting the actual election process, per Rod Rosenstein).
Now, with RBG dead, they are illustrating they they don't want to play by the rules, or respect the Constitution.
They once again, just like in the 1930's under FDR when he was not getting what he wanted(expanding the scope of Federal authority) and FDR threatened to expand the Supreme Court if his demands weren't met, today's Democrats are also threatening the Judiciary.

Nadler is an idiot, and a parrot. He didn't come up with this.
He never had an original idea in his entire miserable, destructive, cowardly life.

We'll get right on that, Jerry. You know he's only talking about adding liberals, perverts and trans-whatevers, otherwise having fifteen or fifty justices will not help the democrats, it will only make everything take longer.

Heck Nads, I insist we increase the Supreme Court Justices if the Republicans keep the Senate, turn the House and Landslide our Great Donald Trump. Say goodbye Nads.

#1 Is correct , the size of the court is fixed by law. This was done in 1869.

wouldn't that take a Constitutional Amendment and not just a decision by a bunch of commies fraudulently elected by mail in ballots?

They considered the same thing when Roosevelt was getting his New Deal legislation declared unconstitutional. Of course Roosevelt didn't have idiots like Pelosi, Shumer and Nadler to help him. Come to think of it, with their help he probably would never have been elected four times. They couldn't Hillary elected once and they can't stop TRUMP for selecting the next SCOTUS judge either.
