As a Trump-hating son shows,

Leo Guinan (“he/him”) has bravely and smugly gone public with his decision to blackmail his father for being a Trump supporter. Unless daddy changes his ways, he’ll never see his grandchildren again. Guinan oozes self-righteous hatred. The only good thing about his post is that people were appalled and contemptuous. (snip) This wonderful human being wrote a now-viral post entitled, “Today I Gave My Dad A Choice: Trump or His Grandkids and His Son.” He explains that he was traumatized by finding a Trump sign in his father’s yard.

Look at it this way. Grandfather is either IN or OUT with the grands already. If he is out because they've been infected by father, he can fondly remember each of them as he cuts all of them out of his Will. Maybe this cismale's dad has told him to lose 50 pounds and shave that beaver skin off his face and try again. ''Hands shaking, tears in eyes,'' try it anyway.

I have an ex daughter in law, that stopped me from seeing my granddaughter for almost a year. It's a terrible thing, so I know what this man is going through. That was 12 years ago, my granddaughter is going to celebrate her 15th birthday in a few weeks, and we have a great relationship. She basically overrode her mother's wishes and demanded that she be allowed to visit. Hopefully, his grandson will do the same.

It is the grand kids who really will lose out. When they are young, that is. But as other posters noted, when they get a little older they may go see the grandparents on their own. When they reach their teens, most of them want to decide for themselves.

I guess I'd take the sign down (or move it to a better location with a willing property owner), tell the kid I'm voting for Biden and go ahead and cast that secret ballot for Trump.

Back in 2016, my daughter commented to my wife that she didn't know why we were still married. She said she hated that my wife (a Dem) stayed married to a Trump supporter. I plan to outlive my wife. You are so lucky poster #8. The same thing happened to us. A former D-I-L stopped us from seeing our grandson when he was 11. And we never figured out why. We never disrespected her or talked smack about her to others. We included both of them in family gatherings. I even reached out to her twice to please give me a call but she never responded. I kept hoping that once our grandson reached age 18, he would come to our house but it never happened. Three years ago, when he was 23yrs old, he took his own life. I will never be able to understand why. So give your granddaughter a hug from me and know how blessed you both are.

Unfortunately, this is happening all over the nation between the ignorant hate spewing Left and their parents. Hope that Sonnyboi wasn't counting on a big inheritance, for Daddy would be well within his rights to leave all his worldly goods to a worthy charity like Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse. The NT of the Bible even talks about the enmity of sons against their parents as one of the signs of the End Times as well. That son is not showing love, not at all. He is teaching his kids to hate.

#1 Liberals are not just nuts, they are mean in a way most of us gave up about the time we learned to ride a bike. Mean in a vindictive and childish way. They cannot simply disagree, they must hurt the person who disagreed with them in the harshest way possible, given power, they will use it to cause as much damage to their perceived enemies as they can. This is why we cannot lose in November, the left will not simply move on to try and implement their utopian dreams (bad enough) they will move to punish those who have so grievously wronged them. They will retaliate with the full force of the federal government behind them. We should all be very afraid of that.

Little Leo accuses his father of being exactly what he himself is however he is too ignorant and blind to see it. He should be excised from his father's will. But his dad is probably a bigger and more forgiving person than his awful son. I do hope Little Leo is not an only child and that there are other grandkids as well. His comment about the Lord making some good points that his dad should consider was way beyond smug and arrogant. It's too bad he didn't delve into scripture more thoroughly to study other of the Lord's teachings. MSTM inadvertently declare
Trump the winner last night --

It’s crystal clear that the media branch of the Democrat party thinks that Joe Biden blew it last night and damaged his electoral prospects in the first of 3 scheduled debates with President Trump. There seems to be pretty widespread consensus on the left that when it comes to Biden, the less voters know about him by watching him in a presidential spotlight, the better. (snip) "This is a disgrace, a low point in American debate history. There is no reason, not one, that Joe Biden should participate in another debate," MSNBC host Joe Scarborough tweeted.

If I were a betting woman, I’d say that, over the next month, we’re going to see a steady drip, followed by an onrushing stream, of information about the corrupt origins and practices behind the Russia hoax. (snip) The CIA learned through intercepts that Russia believed Hillary planned to raise false claims against Trump, accusing him of dirty dealings with the Russians. Brennan took this information to Obama and other national security people. A month later, a letter went to the FBI telling them that they needed to look into Hillary’s alleged dirty dealings. So what did Comey and Strzok do? They went after Trump.

Chris Wallace’s overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever “moderating” a debate again. Wallace’s performance was as Biden’s protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable. He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter’s criminality. The debate was so poorly managed. The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him. No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt. Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden and only one of them is sentient.

The short version of the debate is that Biden did well if one ignored that almost every other statement he made was a lie or fantasy; Trump dominated him, almost too aggressively; and Chris Wallace may have been the worst and most obviously biased moderator since Candy Crowley. Most significantly, though, Biden and Trump each made a critical point. Biden’s was a tacit admission that, if he is elected president, he will preside over the end of the filibuster, allowing Democrats to pack the courts and add two new Democrat-majority states. Trump’s point was that he’s holding damning evidence about the Democrats’ coup attempt.

The Commission on Presidential Debates has vowed to change the format of the next candidate clash after Tuesday's debate was called a 'national embarrassment' by Joe Biden but an unrepentant Donald Trump said it was 'fun.'The chaotic 90 minute debate, where the president repeatedly interrupted his Democratic rival and moderator Chris Wallace, was dubbed a 's*** show' and 'dumpster fire' by pundits. In the aftermath, critics demanded changes to the format, with some saying it was the worst presidential debate in history.
