As Bronson wrote last night, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away at the age of 87. No doubt she left a lasting imprint on our history and that of the Supreme Court. Her close friendship with the late Justice Antonin Scalia was notable, as it showed that people with very differing opinions can indeed get along. In fact, the two were quite funny together. As the late Justice Scalia once said in an interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes—and I’m paraphrasing here, I don’t attack people, I attack ideas. And some very good people have some very bad ideas. If you cannot separate the two,

Let's cross the court-packing bridge when and if we get there.
Meanwhile, there shpuld not be any delay in getting a nrw Supreme Court Justice seated.

The left is already completely unhinged, just as expected. Vespa is right about the pandemic panic being over. The riots for dead black thugs are probably over too. Now Antifa will descend on DC to try to intimidate the senate.
They will shriek about Garland and the “Biden rule” but it doesn’t apply here. Remember that! The Biden rule only applies to lame duck presidents who are winding down their second terms. That is not the case here! PDT has every right to name a replacement and the senate has every right to approve one. Get on it Mitch - you’ve been great on this issue and this will be your biggest challenge. Get it done before Election Day!

Watched NBC last night when they announced her death, you could actually hear the panic in their voices.
Pray that President Trump can nominate a new Chief Justice before the elections.

Leftists are always having wet dreams. They live in a bubble-fantasy world.
But the biggest wet dream of all - - is that Joe Biden might be elected president. Hey, lefties - - here's the bad news from outside the bubble - - Joe has ZERO chance of being elected. ZERO. Now lay down again on your wet sheets - - and get back to your fantasies.

To quote Mark Twain, “I’ve never wished a man dead but I’ve read some obituaries with great pleasure!” RGB was a political activist plain and simple. That’s not the job of a Supreme Court judge. Our culture is experiencing some very serious moral issues after opening The gay marriage Pandora’s box because of people like Ginsburg. Transgenderism and pedophilia to name a few. Aborting viable baby humans and selling their baby parts tops the list. There will be a day of reckoning for all of us. RGB’s time has come.

Ginsburg's portrayal as a great, historic figure is based almost entirely on one attribute...her unwavering and constitutionally un-supported protection of a woman's alleged right to kill her unborn child. And millions of innocents have died because of her tenacity to protect that barbaric practice. Not only is that not great, it's nothing to even be proud of.

You want to see a good disappearing act? Watch how fast covid19 disappears from the msm's propaganda barrage.
Those poor dims. And the msm. Same O same O with them. Having to pivot away from covid19. Tst...tst.
As regards a SCOTUS confirmation, Leader McConnell and US Senate, you have no obligation to cave to the left's and msm's demands to delay confirmation. As soon as the President sends over a nomination, complete the confirmation hearing. Schedule the hearings now and make sure these are completed by November 3rd. Yes, we know. 33 Senators are running for re-election. So complete the hearings as expeditiously as possible.

In her nightly prayers, old Ruth explained to God what her plans were to change America in 2021 ... and He laughed.
I feel as bad about her passing on as I did when I heard about her soul-mate, Fidel Castro, kicking the bucket.
This pompous and arrogant woman did more to stab America in the back and undermine our Constitution than William O. Douglas and Earl Warren combined. She may have been the sweetest person in the world at home (which I doubt) but in reality she was a true judicial menace. She didn't interpret the law ... she wrote it --- unelected --- from the bench. From abortion to gay "marriage" to girly-men using female bathrooms this one was a real winner.
Last night she got to make her final plea and tried to explain everything to the real Unmoved Judge. I'd guess she's finding out right about now that the Biblical admonition at the end of the marriage ceremony that says: "What God has joined together, let no man pull asunder" actually refers to the baby the couple may create and not just the marriage itself.

If Trump and Mitch don't deliver on this one, the republicans are done. If they try to the bitter end and some up short people will understand.
They need to take the fight to the evil on our behalf and at the right times. That is what we elected them do, all the rest is just nice to haves.

I'm 100% with Steven Crowder: "The party that verifiably, falsely slandered and labeled Kavanaugh a “gang rapist” in front of his family and the whole world no longer gets to lecture us on decorum. Now, we make it sting." It's war. If the tables were turned, we know Schumer et al wouldn't hesitate to appoint their Justice.

I would not be surprised if the Dems try to postpone the funeral service closer to election day to make a Wellstone campaign event out of it. However, if she follows her Jewish traditions, burial is usually within 24 hours after death, though because this is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New year, this may delay the burial until Monday. Also, the Jewish religion does not condone or believe in Cremation.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Vespa is error prone. For instance:
There have been 5 presidents elected without the popular vote. They are listed here with the number of their Supreme Court confirmed appointees.
Amans JQ 1
Hayes. 2
Harrison 4
GW Bush 2
Trump 2
While Vespa is an excellent Italian scooter, Mark is not. These are simple errors, not complex.
If he doesn't care to take care, why should I read further?

I'm wondering if it will ever matter that there is a "conservative majority" on the court. Whenever they've had the advantage in the past at least one has gone rogue regularly, whether named Souter, O'Connor or even Roberts. When the chips are down the table gets overturned...on sound legal principle, of course. PDT will select another 24 kt justice based on the recommendations of political and judicial experts, who tend to be the Faucis and Birxs of their fields. I don't hold my breath anymore.

#18 - Robert's tendency to be wishy-washy is why it is so imperative to push through a strong Conservative now. Replacing the most extreme liberal on SCOTUS with a rock-solid Conservative is the antidote to Robert's spinelessness.

They can't win at the ballot box, and now their judicial activism is failing them, and there is a real possibility of a Constitutionalist majority on the court which could last for decades.
So, they make threats to change the rules, tear down the country.
This sort of people are dangerous and evil.

It all boils down to one thing - the left wants no hinderance whatsoever to their “right” to murder children, born and unborn. They will riot, burn and destroy to keep that “right”. If you’ve ever doubted that the left is evil this should make you doubt no longer.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginzburg is Dead.
She was not a sweet, decent woman.
She reminds me of Lenin's evil, mean wife Nadegda Krupskia.
On July 17,1918 Nadegda ordered her CHEKA goons to murder the sweet, helpless Czar family
in the awful cellar in the Ipatiev House.
I saw the crime photos and they look awful.
Are Biden, Harris, Obama, Moochie and Hillary just evil modern Leninists?

"Liberals could very well fight for a woman’s right to an abortion through the legislature. ... Why doesn’t the Left go this route? "
Because they tried and tried and they couldn't get it done. First of all, they had to get enough Congressmen elected and a President to give them a solid win. That's HARD work. They would have to convince those dopey voters that abortion is a good thing. Then they have to deal with possible repercussions which could boot them out of office and see the law reversed.
But SCOTUS justices? Ahhh. It would only require 2 or 3 of them. Slip some sympathizers onto the court until you have enough. Then bring up the case. By the time the Republicans knew what was happening it was too late and too difficult to swing the court back right away. The camel's nose was well and truly under the tent. The Congress would now have to take action against abortion at a Constitutional level since the SCOTUS invented a Constitutional "right" of privacy. That is a huge hurdle.
Now the only real choice is to get the court to reverse itself. We are very close and it will drive the Left absolutely nuts.

There are no SCOTUS rules except what's in the Constitution. The president nominates, the Senate votes to confirm or reject. That's it, period. You have the votes or you don't have the votes. Everything else is just hogwash.
This is the political moment many of us have been waiting for our entire lives. TRUMP and McConnel will cross the Rubicon within the week. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Political blood will be spilt. Never underestimate a cornered liberal Democrat, a wild beast frothing at the mouth, biting its own tail in a wild frenzy.
And we still have the election to go!
