Is The Coronavirus Crisis Finally Over?
A Nobel Laureate Says It Might Be

A few weeks ago, we asked this same question about the pandemic – is it safe to go outside yet? The data made a good case that it was. Today, they look even better. According to the Centers for Disease Control’s latest data, released six days ago, shows that, through Aug. 29, predicted excess deaths have moved below the threshold for excess deaths. (See chart below.) When we last wrote about this, after total deaths had for months exceeded the threshold, the two numbers were moving closer. Stanford biophysics professor Michael Levitt, who won the 2013 Nobel Prize for Chemistry, says

It is my understanding that the number of deaths that had qualified the crisis as a pandemic ended a while back, yet the media will not, it seems,r reinquish the descriptive.

It never was a crisis but the elite made it one. The trust in experts and government agencies has been reduced to mush although there are some that are still scared of their shadow because of "experts.".

A family member's grandmother in her 90's had a fall that damaged her brain. When she passed a day later the person who was entering her death certificate information advised the family they were going to say she died due to the pandemic. The family refused to allow them to do such a thing. That, dear friends, is the tip of how the public is being taken to the cleaners. ENOUGH ALREADY!

The crisis is subsiding, but the fear will remain until HCQ can be obtained as needed. Until then, demand a BUDESONIDE inhaler if you get sick. That is what saved the life of a vet I know in Louisiana. The VA doctor was giving them nothing to help, and 8 others at his War Veterans Home died.

The sole reason there is a pandemic and an accompanying crisis is because Donald Trump is running for re-election. This is also the reason why there is mob violence, looting arson and riots.

He uses a very unambiguous way to look at what this Chinese flu is doing as far as deaths. This "excess deaths" is somewhat imprecise, but on a nationwide basis, gives a very clear signal of how many deaths are occurring which are outside of the normal deaths from all other causes. And we see that there are multiple useful treatment methods which have been developed which reduce the mortality. All good news.

The only thing making me question whether the China Virus pandemic is pretty much over is the fact that a Nobel Prize winning Stanford Professor says it might be. My confidence in "experts" has reached an all time low, down from zero a few months ago.

I wish it were true. But we have the virus hurdle to jump yet. They are not going to let the narrative go, deflating like an air dancer with the blower unplugged. There's still money to be made stoking the fear, convincing a nation it needs the "serum", as my mother puts it (she's brainwashed, too).

Much as the celebrity cash-and-politics antics of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry disgust us, it appears they disgust Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, even more. Here's what Breitbart reported: The decision by Los Angeles-based Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to wade into the upcoming U.S. election by offering voting advice was a “violation” of their “Megxit” deal with the Queen and could further jeopardise their links to the monarchy, it was claimed Sunday by senior royal aides. According to the Times newspaper, courtiers have been canvassing how the royal household could separate itself further from the pair.

News report out on Monday said that 83% of companies in the S&P 500 beat expectations for earnings in the second quarter of the year, the first time that’s happened in more than a decade. That’s been a common refrain over the past several months, as the economic recovery from the COVID-19 shutdowns has repeatedly outperformed what the “experts” expected. (snip) In some cases, the difference between what economists were predicting at the start of the pandemic and what’s actually occurred is stark. Take the forecasts for unemployment. In March, economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis projected

Fox News has drawn our attention to the fact that George Soros is bankrolling the leftist district attorneys who are fostering so much rioting in America's blue cities, based on their refusal to prosecute looters and rioters. But probably not in the way they meant to. Here's what went down over at the semi-cheesy news commentary show called 'Outnumbered' whose format is a group of leggy women sitting on a circular sofa with some man in the news and grilling him with chick-like excited shouts and exclamations. It's now a Zoom thing without the leg business. And in this case, it led to a very unexpected outcome:

When the Republicans took both chambers of Congress in the historic 1994 elections, ABC news anchor Peter Jennings said “the voters had a temper tantrum.” He felt it necessary to portray GOP voters as children. But they did it the right way. If Americans want change, and feel the need to act up, the ballot box is the place to do it. Democratic comrades, however, have decided that violence how they are going to get their way. What we’ve already had plenty of is likely to erupt even more violently on the evening Nov. 3 and the morning of Nov.

Was this a slip of the lip or a forthright acknowledgment of reality? My guess is that her ego got the better of Senator Harris, who, after all, is used to assuming power through questionable exploitation of older men. It must be a classic "Kinsley gaffe," a politician accidentally telling the truth, since nobody would ever describe Kamala Harris as "forthright." Whatever the underlying psychology, during a "virtual address" (i.e., a video call like Zoom) to a group of Hispanic small business–owners in Arizona on Saturday, the junior senator from California spoke of "a Harris administration together with Joe Biden":

Democrats are having a shattered-glass crack-up to the continuous good news coming from President Trump on the global peace front. Their famously disciplined lockstep 'narrative' has gone haywire. Over in Sweden, a legislator has nominated President Trump for the Nobel peace prize over his role in bringing peace to longtime foes Kosovo and Serbia. That's the second one who's done it. It follows a Norwegian legislator's nomination of Trump this same week for the same prize over his role in brokering an Israel-UAE entente, the biggest peace breakthrough since the Camp David accords, which made peace between Israel and Egypt. That one earned its participants a Nobel prize, too.

While the media focus on the chaos in American cities and the COVID-19 shutdowns, you might have missed this good news on the energy front: The federal government just approved a new, smaller, safer nuclear power plant design, putting nuclear back on the nation’s menu of energy choices. It might not seem like much, but until this decade, the last nuclear power plant built in the U.S. was 1977. Joe Biden wants the public to believe that he’s always deemed violence “unacceptable,” even when it’s perpetrated by leftists. If this is the most important election in decades, this is its most important moment. Thus far, this campaign has been a referendum on Trump; Tuesday’s debate will be one on Biden. Its outcome depends on which Biden shows up. Like all races with a president seeking re-election, this one has centered on the incumbent. Thanks to a hostile media and Trump’s aggressive use of social media, America has had plenty of material for judgement. Topping it off, 2020 has been an acutely tumultuous year: Beginning with an impeachment trial and now a contentious Supreme Court vacancy — with a pandemic, a recession, and nationwide violence in between.

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign called another early morning press lid at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, leaving strategists and reporters wondering what the hell is going on. It was the ninth time this month that Biden had no public events on schedule and thus told the press before lunchtime that they would not be needed for the rest of the day. It’s downright bizarre that a campaign would squander nine perfectly good days that could be spent on the trail just two months out from the election. What was Biden doing during this time instead?
