How many fairytale stories have you heard about young black kids growing up in hellish neighborhoods in inner cities being saved by sports? There are so many. Recently, I’ve been watching the documentary about my beloved Chicago Bulls championship team led by Chicago superstar Michael Jordan, The Last Dance. It’s an incredible story and, as a kid who grew up in the shadow of those giants, having the incredible opportunity to watch them play, attend playoff games, and celebrate in the street with Chicago fans, it’s must-see TV. That team brought so much joy to Chicago. One of the more moving episodes dives into

I’ve said all along this “movement” is hurting the black community more than it is helping anyone at all. Look at the small businesses that families have worked for years to build and how they've been decimated. Anarchy is just not a pretty color. Return to your mama’s basement, please! This is not your America if you cannot improve it.

Professional sports is a corrupt money-making operation that uses athletes and spits them out. Youngsters deluded into a one-in-a-million chance at megabucks. The ones that make it turn into insufferable woman-abusing celebrities who think their political opinions matter. Bread and circuses, gladiators and money hustlers. Reality TV.

The thuggery starts way before that. In HS the rules didnt apply to the jocks. WE had to obey them, but if you could chase a ball around there were no worries about any sort of punishment for any offense. Just keep chasing that ball.

Good! Get rid of sports 'heroes'. Its bizarre that so many Americans worship grown men who play a game with a little ball.

Liberals purposefully came after professional sports and destroyed them, just like everything they touch. The athletes aren’t getting the big bucks for their political or social wisdom. By the time they wake up to the fact that without the fans who bought tickets and franchise gear they have become irrelevant and a financial drain it will be too late.

I admired/admire Jordan also and agree completely with the author, he had his faults but he understood what the fans wanted and that was to watch good basketball, they didn't want to hear or see political statements.

So maybe, just maybe, inner city Blacks might need to re-imagine themselves not as sports heroes but in need of an education to get ahead? Nah! Just sell drugs. It's quicker and easier.

They have had their fun. Now their neighborhoods don't have any businesses. And businesses are not going to want to hire people that want to murder and steal from them. The woke CEO's may hire them, but I wonder if shoppers will want the experience of going into a store with employees that want to murder and steal from them. I wonder if it is discrimination to avoid people that want to murder and steal from you. We will see how this works out for these communities.

Instead of active players giving support or advice to black inner city kids you have the likes of the African warlord Lebron James acting like some loudmouth preaching 'get whitey'. Keeping the racial pot stirred and killing the sport.

Just another brick in the wall of proof that BLM/ANTIFA does not care about the black community. They just do not care. Real activism would be mentoring these kids and getting them onto the right path in life, not the path of crime. Most decent blacks in these neighborhoods are sick to death of burying their young because of crime and violence. These rioters are just putting it all on steroids. This is one reason why I am suspicious of Obama. I think he is up to his skinny ears in the organization of these two groups in the first place. They didn't just appear, they appeared and are well organized. Our tax dollars paid for that training, thanks to a lack of official budget for 8 years. Those CR's the democrats love helped hide the money's real destination. This is all on Pelosi and the DNC. But Harry Reid should not be forgotten either. For he was Obama's helper for 8 years in roadblocking anything regarding accountability or budgets for this nation.

Media Pushes Unverified Gossip To Hide Trump’s
Amazing Economic And Foreign Policy Achievements

The Democrat-media complex has a new mission: to distract our attention from President Trump’s incredible—and I mean incredible—progress on both economic and foreign policy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently announced another historic month of job growth as the economy added 1.4 million jobs in August. It was the fourth-best month of job growth on record dating back to 1939 (and likely ever), beaten out only by the preceding three months. As a result, the country’s unemployment rate dropped to 8.4 percent from its post-pandemic high of 14.7 percent. Recall that in April the Congressional Budget Office forecast a 16 percent unemployment rate for the third quarter.

“Any number of federal constitutional and statutory provisions reflect the proposition that, in this country, we determine guilt or innocence individually—rather than collectively, based on one’s identification with some demographic group,” wrote U.S. Appeals Court Judge Raymond Kethledge in a late June opinion. “That principle has not always been perfectly realized in our Nation’s history, but as judges it is one that we take an oath to enforce.” Kethledge’s words revived a lawsuit filed by an Oberlin College student who claimed that his school had unfairly found him guilty of sexual misconduct. Over a 100-day period this summer, four appeals courts, including the Sixth Circuit

For the lot of you who have yelled at and/or addressed the editors of this magazine with a stern tone because we have not compared the new Corvette with the equally new 911, we hear you and we're choosing to ignore you. The truth is that the Corvette's closest competitor from Porsche's lineup hasn't been the 911 for some time. The German brand made its rear-engine flagship just a bit too soft right as Chevrolet got downright serious about making big performance gains by relocating the Corvette's V-8. The mid-engine 718 series of two-seaters has taken the throne at Porsche as the de facto sports-car line

According to Rasmussen, President Trump’s job approval rating stands at 51 percent. That’s about where it’s been since late August, and it’s a rating that, one expects, would carry an incumbent president to re-election, especially against a relatively weak opponent like Joe Biden. It’s similar to Barack Obama’s approval rating just before he won in 2016. But what about other surveys? Fox News, in a survey that’s several days older than Rasmussen’s, finds that 48 approve of Trump’s performance, while 51 percent disapprove. The Hill, in a survey taken at around the same time as Fox’s, found that 47 approve and 53 percent disapprove.

Has the 19th-century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven become a modern symbol of "exclusion and elitism" for rich, white men? In an article published by Vox on Tuesday that quoted New York Philharmonic clarinetist Anthony McGill, writers Nate Sloan and Charlie Harding argued that the work has been propped up by white, wealthy men, whose embrace of the musical composition stood as a symbol of "their superiority and importance." "For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony is predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism," Sloan and Harding wrote.
