The Trump campaign released an open letter Monday signed by 235 retired military leaders expressing their support for President Trump’s reelection. “As senior leaders of America’s military, we took an oath to defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. At present, our country is now confronted with enemies here and abroad, as well as a once in a century pandemic,” the letter reads. The group, which includes three retired Air Force generals and five Navy admirals, contends that Trump “has been tested as few other presidents have and is the proven leader to confront these dangers.” "With the Democratic Party welcoming to socialists

I have a close friend who was a three-star, and ended his military career as a deputy Secretary of Defense. He is totally appalled at the senior level military retirees who speak out against President Trump. He knows some of them, and claims they were more like politicians than military leaders.

The Clintons and Obama worked to salt the senior military staff with liberal officers who were willing to be politicians instead of military leaders. What military leaders worth their pay would have allowed the democrats to decimate the military without putting up a vigorous fight? Flag officers (Generals and Admirals) enjoy generous pay and benefits, like politicians do. Flag officer must have approval of congress to advance in rank. It matters which party is in power.

As a retired military officer myself, I am fully assured that the military (people I talk and associate with) support for President Trump is overwhelming. Polls are as worthless as as the organizations who report them. Each pollster selects his "pool', formulates the questions, and makes adjustments to the raw data to reflect the makeup of the population as they see it. It's not science at all, it's art. Some pollsters for whatever reason try to get a real answer; others try to get a poll result that promotes an agenda (called a push poll.)

It is only the 0bama selected politically correct elite in the military that oppose PDT and his tenure. For obvious reasons. It has no support in the rank and file as well as the public at large. That is why the recent desperate and pathetic attempt to create a fissure between Trump and the military evaporated like desert snow.

That has to hit the dirty democrats upside the head with a 2 x 4, especially the ones who manufactured the rumor that the President slandered the military. They conveniently forgot that the Kreepy Kenyan dissed the military for an entire eight years but that was perfectly fine since he was... you know.

You would have to look at these one-by-one. For example, the 'military' people who have served in political roles can quickly succumb to the swamp. Line soldiers jumping out of airplanes have a different view of reality. It's beyond question that the president has been subjected to horrific, unfair charges and actions and has been very successful in rebuilding the military, extricating us from endless wars, and in foreign policy in general. It is just as obvious that Obama/Biden downsized the military and pursued foreign policy initiatives that have proven to be disastrous.

Win or may lose in November, there is one thing for which people will forever praise President Trump: Just when it counted, at the moment of crisis with all on the line, he threw his body into the line of incoming fire — and prevented Hillary Clinton from becoming president. Deserving of thanks also is President Barack Obama, who in the 2008 primary defeated Clinton and kept her out of office through his two terms until Trump could step up to the job. The importance of what these people did becomes more impressive when one recalls that the plot to make Clinton president,

There’s going to be a lot of talk about the U.N. over the next couple of weeks. The 75th session of the U.N. General Assembly will kick off with speeches by President Trump and other world leaders next week. And the U.N. Human Rights Council is currently meeting in Geneva, as China works to bring international human-rights mechanisms under its control, and as it and other authoritarian powers seek election to the body (if history is any guide, they’ll be successful). The usual suspects are already spinning up the narrative that the United States stands alone at the U.N. Last week, the United States and Israel

If Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats take control of the Senate, taxes will rise. Likely a lot. His official plan envisions a $4 trillion hike over the coming decade. But a big victory would empower the Left, which would demand bigger and broader hikes. After all, there will be lots of benefits to increase, programs to create, and, most important, interest groups to pay off. The only “cut” likely would be restoring the deduction for state and local levies, a windfall for the wealthy that liberals love. Presumably because it acts as a subsidy for big-spending state and local governments. They can keep raising rates, knowing that the federal

On September 4, 2020, Russell Vought, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent a brief memo to the heads of the executive departments and agencies of the federal government. Its purpose was straightforward: to end the practice by any federal government agency of using training materials that promote “critical race theory” or “white privilege” or that “teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is either an inherently evil or racist country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.”

Foreign entities looking to influence American politics sometimes devise lucrative commercial deals involving a politician’s family. While the deals can, and do, ensnare politicians of all stripes, those involving the Biden family are particularly troubling: The transactions implicate US national security. While Joe Biden served as vice president, his son Hunter received offers from foreign governments and oligarchs in areas where the he had little or no expertise. That his foreign partners included a rival state, Communist China, make these arrangements particularly brazen, even by Washington’s swampy standards.

According to most polls, the state of the economy is the most urgent issue facing the nation as the November election looms. As the Kaiser Family Foundation phrased it in a survey released September 10, “The economy has now secured a spot as the top issue in the 2020 election, with one-third of registered voters (32%) saying it will be the most important issue in deciding their vote for president.” This is good news for Donald Trump. Less than two months before Election Day, most voters trust the president on the economy more than his Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, particularly in the battleground states.

Has the 19th-century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven become a modern symbol of "exclusion and elitism" for rich, white men? In an article published by Vox on Tuesday that quoted New York Philharmonic clarinetist Anthony McGill, writers Nate Sloan and Charlie Harding argued that the work has been propped up by white, wealthy men, whose embrace of the musical composition stood as a symbol of "their superiority and importance." "For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony is predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism," Sloan and Harding wrote.
