The Trump administration announced Wednesday that more than 2,000 troops will be withdrawn from Iraq and the administration is looking to announce a drawdown in Afghanistan in coming days. CENTCOM Commander Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr. said the reduction will go from about 5,200 troops in Iraq to 3,000 and happen this month, which he said will 'allow us to continue advising and assisting our Iraqi partners in rooting out the final remnants of ISIS in Iraq,' according to CNN. Reporters first caught wind of the president's plan when a senior administration official discussed it with the press pool on Air Force One Tuesday night -

Bravo with the bust-up! Only problem I have is that he's a little late on fulfilling his promise to end "endless" wars. With any luck, Biden might notice and say something stupid about it.

Watch for Democrats to claim that he is endangering us by doing this. Remember when he was pulling our advisory troops out of somewhere last year (sorry, I can't remember) and they claimed that we all going to die. We are all still alive and our troops are safe. Seems like the Dems like the troops deployed.

Good move. In addition, I hope Pres. Trump has factored in the fact that this is going to cost a lot of military contractors money including those involved in ordnance and other munitions, housing material, vehicles and other equipment. These are often employers for veterans and talented patriotic civilians so I hope what becomes of them will be considered. If this move leads to a decrease of military personnel overall China will lose some sales of the fake and dangerous uniforms which they have been selling to our military. Scroom.

MY PRESIDENT!!!!! So many American lives lost in pointless conficts-the only people that the Middle East muslims hate more than Jews and Americans is each other. Let them decimate themselves without any more help from us. And Trump is 100% right about the hawks in the Pentagon seeking out conflicts to steer money to defense contractors-why else do you all think that John McCain hated him so much? Because PDT shut down the taxpayer gravy train-and neutered McCain in the process.

'They need to be stopped': Mitch McConnell

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the country will be radically different in just a couple years if Republicans don't hold onto the Senate come fall."[Democrats] would get rid of the filibuster in the Senate, thereby eliminating the potential for any serious opposition. They’ll admit the District of Columbia as a state and Puerto Rico as a state, giving them four new Democratic senators in perpetuity. They'll pack the Supreme Court, the circuit courts, the district courts, and then they'll turn to the economy. They’ll overregulate and overtax like they always do, and America won’t look two years later like it does today," McConnell said Thursday on Fox News's

Famed Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein (“Woodstein”) have recently weighed in on the use of anonymous sources in the reporting of President Trump’s alleged slurs of deceased soldiers. While they use their iconic status to support the “truth” spoken by such unnamed witnesses, they unwittingly prove the profound incapability of modern journalism in its assumed role as the arbiter of truth. There can be no better example of this than Woodstein’s discussion of their use of anonymous sources in Watergate. These sources, Woodstein argues, were all proven truthful and brought down a sitting president. Therefore, they contend, the present anonymous sources must be

Roughly 8,000 jumbo jets could be needed to distribute coronavirus vaccines around the globe — a massive logistical challenge that will require careful planning from governments worldwide, an airline trade group warns. The staggering estimate is how many 747 cargo planes it would take to carry just a single dose of a COVID-19 inoculation for each of the world’s 7.8 billion people, the International Air Transport Association said Wednesday, calling the task of delivering the vaccines “the mission of the century for the global air cargo industry.”While some of the shots will be moved over land,

Controversial Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, once considered a frontrunner to become Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, has authorized construction of a large fence around the governor’s mansion in Lansing as part of a $1.1 million security upgrade. The 8-foot-tall electrified fence is especially galling to Whitmer critics because she has routinely criticized President Donald Trump’s construction of a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border as a way to help reduce illegal immigration and human trafficking. She has also questioned the effectiveness of security walls but is nevertheless billing taxpayers for the expensive upgrade that will include electrified fencing because, according to local media, Whitmer is fearful of threats.

Biden was speaking to members of the United Auto Workers in Michigan. After fumbling about for a card listing U.S. military deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq, which he said he always kept with him —
