President Trump sent his critics into a tailspin when he asked a reporter to remove his face mask during a White House news briefing. The president told a Reuters correspondent that he couldn’t hear his “muffled” question during the press conference on Labor Day and asked if he would remove it, sparking instant criticism on social media and accusations of “bullying.” White House reporter Jeff Mason was hailed as a hero by liberals for his refusal to remove his mask.(Video) Trump opened up the conference for questions after delivering a speech touting the recovery of the U.S. economy and criticizing his 2020 Democratic opponent Joe Biden.

It is almost impossible to hear a person speak when they wear one of those multilayer fitted fabric fact masks. Surgical masks, not so bad. But those fabric ones, terrible. So far I’ve had to ask a plumber to pull one down and our dermatologist.

Correction: fabric face masks
I’d say most reporters wear fact masks, too...

Reporter Jeff Mason is hailed as a hero by the LeftMedia because he insisted the President and insisted on wearing his face diaper at an outdoors press conference, where everyone socially distanced?
What a putz.
Trump should have just said "Next Question" and called on someone else

I can appreciate the President's request that the reporter remove his mask while asking his question. I have a hearing disability and during this maskamania, it has been very difficult for me to hear persons speaking to me at grocery stores, fast food businesses, and banks while wearing their masks and standing behind their plexiglass safety shield. Together with background noise going on behind them, it has been a real struggle.

A maskhole, not a “hero.” That Reuters reporter knew he was in little or no danger to coronavirus. He was just being a good German.

I work behind plexi at a grocery store service counter. I have to ask many of my customers to do so as well as temporarily remove my own in order to understand each other.

So it's bullying to ask someone to take his mask off, but not bullying to harangue someone into wearing one.

They should make it clear before entering the Press room. You will not be called upon by the President if you are wearing a mask. Period.

The face mask is the badge of obedience to the ChiCom re-engineering of American society. It the present case the candy-@ss “reporter” was also a member of the White House Press Corpse (sic), one of the walking dead.

The reported could have been heard easily if he hadn’t had a mouth full of, er, feces.

A doctor told me that wearing a face mask is like putting a chain link fence around your house to keep out mosquitoes. He also said that pretty much everyone in the country has now been exposed to the virus and that it’s really actually hard to catch
depending on each individuals own state of health and overall condition.
That’s why many people have tested positive with no symptoms whatsoever and many people that have been around infected people will test negative. This thing is way over hyped and in my opinion completely ridiculous to keep perpetuating the public panic and hysteria that this is a totally deadly little bug.

No you arzewipes, bullying would have been if he'd walked over, ripped off the mask, slapped that putzie and stomped the mask...

Where was the outrage from the media when their leader Nancy Pelosi wasn't wearing a mask inside a closed hair salon in San Francisco? Oh, right she got "set up". Seriously, does anyone with a scintilla of a brain still take the media seriously? I think Nancy was going on the premise that if flatulence can get though your pants, how could a COVID-19 molecule not can get through a mask?

I think President Trump was set up by this reporter, so he could have his Acosta moment.

Some say we might soon be in a shooting war with scum like this. Oh dear.
Here is a photo along with an article demonstrating yet again, what a tool this lying 'reporter' is. Of COURSE he works for Reuters, a sewer of liars who hate America - https://teapartypac.org/owned-anti-trump-reuters-reporter-gets-slapped-with-the-truth-on-immigration/
