Kamala Harris Doesn't Take Questions

At the end of a campaign event billed as a "roundtable discussion" with union workers and black business owners in Milwaukee on Monday, Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris simply walked away, saying "I think we're all done here," when a co-host passed her the mic and called for questions. The Biden campaign's refusal to hold press conferences or even answer questions outside of formal interviews is one of several new lines of attack the Trump campaign has deployed this month. "I once lived in Wisconsin, it is part of my story," Harris told the audience as she walked away. "Thank you," a staffer said. "We're all set."

Mattressback's platform is F U and your questions (paraphrase Pelosi) you'll find out what we plan to do when you elect us. And the "journalists" like these guys ?? #3, interesting question. The closest we have been to such a situation was in February, 1933, when an italian immigrant anarchist tried to assassinate President Elect Franklin Delano Roosevelt, but shot and killed mayor Cermak of Chicago instead. In those days, the constitution prescribed the president to be inaugurated in March of the year following the November election. In your scenario, but this is Chief Judas John roberts who would control the debate, in his glazed eye, heavily medicated for epilepsy condition.

This may be the weakest most inept two candidates to run for public office ever. The sad part is, there will be millions of uniformed idiots who will vote for them so that these two numbskulls will win the three west coast states along with Illinois, New York, and probably at least a few New England states. They'll garner enough electoral votes from just those states alone to make this election much closer than it should be.

#8, I wish that Woodward and Bernstein were rolling in their graves but, unfortunately, they’re very much alive and still making trouble. As to Kammie (pronounced “commie”) Harris, this is exactly how leftist discussions work - they have their say and if you dare to question them they either attack you personally or they walk away. Biden did it a couple of days ago when a vet accused him of having blood on his hands for supporting the Iraq war. Biden turned his back and walked away.

The New York Times on Monday published a 3,100-word story headlined “Joe Biden’s China Journey.” The three reporters whose bylines appear on the article engage in a painfully obvious effort to explain away the former vice president’s long and cozy relationship with communist China. Now, at long last, they suggest, Biden is ready to get really tough on China. Tougher even than Trump. Good luck to them selling that fractured fairy tale. Biden has appeased China and advanced its interests for as long as I’ve been paying attention to China policy, which is to say since shortly after the Democratic presidential nominee arrived in Washington, D.C., nearly a half-century ago

The left and its media allies are warning Americans not to expect a winner on election night. If Donald Trump leads on Nov. 3, the victory will be nothing more than a "red mirage," says Josh Mendelsohn, whose firm consults for the Democratic National Committee. In the days or weeks afterward, a Trump victory will be beaten back and undone as mail-in ballots tip the election for Joe Biden, predicts New York Times columnist David Brooks. "Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances," warns Hillary Clinton. Don't swallow this propaganda that election night victories are a thing of the past because of mail-in voting.

Democrats’ new strategy for winning
the White House: Threaten riots if they lose

Four years ago, Hillary Clinton supporters talked a lot about then-candidate Donald Trump refusing to concede a presidential election they were certain he would lose. As it happened, they had it exactly backward: Trump wound up winning, and Democrats and their media cheerleaders have spent most of their waking moments ever since then trying to invalidate that result. They used false charges about Russian “collusion” and any other conceivable means — fair or foul — to make the bad dream of 2016 go away. That’s the key fact to keep in mind amid the drumbeat of obsessive mainstream commentary and analysis about what Trump will do when he loses in November.

Two months before the November election, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler faces calls to resign from sources as wide-ranging as liberal constituents who once supported him to the nation’s Republican president, who cite what they say is his lack of clear leadership as the city hit 100 days of protests. Many critics say they’re frustrated that Wheeler, the city’s police commissioner, expresses support for police reforms yet hasn’t come out strongly when officers appear to use excessive force on people during protests. Many others are frustrated he hasn’t done more to end the nightly demonstrations and the property damage, small fires and provocations of police that usually accompany them.

It was 25 years ago when the average people of a small city in Montana “joined together to stand up to hate when their neighbors were under attack,” as the Not in Our Town website reminds us. The town was Billings. The neighbors were Jewish, Black and Native American. The attackers were white supremacists. The average people standing up to hate were, for the most part, white people who, like most people of all colors, were offended by racism and anti-Semitism. That was then. This is now. The assembly of good men and women of every race and background by Republicans and Donald Trump during their national convention last week was far more persuasive and authentically patriotic than anything the Democrats achieved a week earlier. One person they couldn’t have (and likely wouldn’t have had, in any circumstance) was acclaimed actor Chad Boseman, 43, who succumbed last week to cancer. As best as I can tell, Mr. Boseman did not use his celebrity to intervene in politics to the often overwhelming extent that many actors and entertainers do — although, notably, his last post on Twitter congratulated fellow Howard University graduate Sen. America’s left-wing has taken a dark and dangerous turn, now openly expressing a desire for its political opposition to be delegitimized, criminalized, intimidated and ultimately banished. This attitude has been boiling since Donald Trump became president. He’s too dangerous to be allowed to speak, they said, as the likes of Sen. Kamala Harris called on Twitter to suspend his account. But that seems quaint compared to the left’s rhetoric of the last few days. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi labeled Republicans “domestic enemies” and “enemies of the state” in an unhinged rant rivaling any of Trump’s crazier tweets. And that was after Rep. Here is a mayor who has presided over 90-plus consecutive nights of violence in the city which has the most active Antifa faction in the country. Stores have been invaded, buildings have been burned, police have been injured, while the Portland city government and the Oregon state government have been relentlessly incompetent and ineffective.
