NYC Restaurants File $2 Billion Suit Against
Gov. Cuomo and Mayor Bill De Blasio

New York City restaurants have had enough. Even as restaurants across the state have reopened for limited indoor seating, the Big Apple remains limited to only patio dining. Now, as fall approaches and cool weather returns to the city, restaurateurs are demanding action from Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo. A lawsuit filed last week in NYC lists Il Bacco Restaurant in Queens as the primary plaintiff in the suit that is seeking $2 billion in damages for their business and similarly affected businesses in NYC. The lawsuit seeks repayment from Cuomo, de Blasio, the Office of the Attorney General of New York, and the city itself.

So very sad for these owners... Daughter #2, director of ops at upscale resort near Princeton, has been out of work since March... thankfully they have managed well and she is busy getting masters in finance as she searches... So sad for lower level employees... Reason for everyone to vote MAGA. Heaven help us.

I hope they sue the pants off these two idiots. Cuomo and DeBlasio's goal is to destroy the NYC economy prior to the election. Between the restaurant owners suing and the DOJ investigating Cuomo killing all those innocent elderly, this should keep both of them occupied for sometime and maybe they need to find a good lawyer.

Losing fifty to a hundred bucks per person for dinner for hundreds of customers a day can add up to huge losses. If the restaurants were to open to full capacity are there enough people left in NYC to fully fund them?

All restaurant should be allowed to reopen. Let the people decide if they want to take the extremely low risk of catching the virus while eating out. And if masks are effective, why is there a risk at all?

#9, re: masks. My company still makes us wear them outside of our cubicles. Propaganda posters in the elevators now revised. Used to be "My mask protects you, your mask protects me". Now say "Your mask does not prevent catching the virus. My mask helps prevent me from spreading." Or some such twisted logic. Email from corporate 2 days ago said work at home for those practicing it will continue until January 2021. Disappointing.

One of the fascinating facts to emerge from watching the back-to-back conventions was that Republicans have overtaken Democrats when it comes to visual presentation. Despite their lock on Hollywood actors, the Democrats don’t seem to have attracted much of the creative talent. The Democrat convention looked like a meeting of a high school communist club, while the Republican convention was a joyous, polished, light-filled vision of America’s wonderful future. The difference in talent when it comes to creating videos and events applies to less spectacular events as well. When I look at my Facebook feed, which is heavily populated with Democrat friends from my travels through life,

Based on the arrest photos of apprehended Antifa rioters, the impression is out there that the group is little more than a bunch of extremist fringe crazies. Sadly, it's not so. Report after report shows that Antifa is highly organized, in its rioting, its killing, and its press coverage. It's shocking, really. This account from SurvivalBlog, by J.D., someone who went to several of Antifa's riots, describes all the security that Antifa and Revolutionary Communist Party (RevCom, or RCP) coevals put into their operations. Based on his account, Antifa and RCP appear to be the same thing: The first one I attended was on the University of Michigan campus.

Democrats openly say that, if Trump is reelected, they are going to redouble their four years of madness, with special emphasis on the last three months of open violence. Indeed, they’re already planning to destabilize the election and to contest it if Trump wins, in hopes of a violent coup. The latest leftist to say this is Bernie Sanders, who just opined that Trump would not accept defeat. It appears that the Democrat’s plans don’t account for is the fact that, if Trump wins the Electoral College, he holds all the cards -- although, their awareness of that fact could explain the recent attempt, via the defamatory The Atlantic article,

Burke said evil triumphs when good men stay silent. Aristotle similarly said that when good people don't get involved in politics, they get government by bad people. That's what has happened here in America, why evil has spread like leprosy across the face of the land. And make no mistake: it is evil that's spreading. To grasp this we need look no farther than the corner Planned Parenthood charnel house. When a society legitimizes babies getting turned into body parts for sale to the highest bidder — that's evil. With notable exceptions (think Trump), the bad guys have taken over (think Deep State). Burke had it right.

I get the sense that rightward movement is occurring in the African American community. This is more than anecdotal. It’s not random. It is for good reason. At least since the ’60s, the Democrats have had a lock on the black vote, which they’ve nurtured and protected like leftists guard their copies of “The Communist Manifesto.” Their conquest was cynical in its inception and has grown more so through the years. You’ve probably read President Lyndon Johnson’s overtly racist remarks concerning his support for the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act — remarks that are in such poor taste I won’t repeat them here.

In 2016, Donald Trump promised to bring back manufacturing jobs to the United States. At the time, President Obama ridiculed the idea, saying, “What magic wand do you have?” Turns out Trump had a good one. In the first 30 months of the Trump Administration, U.S. manufacturers added 499,000 jobs, expanding by 4 percent. In the last 30 months of the Obama-Biden Administration, manufacturers added only 185,000 jobs, which equated to a mere 1.5 percent – a net difference of 314,000 jobs. Now Joe Biden is promising to bring back manufacturing jobs. Will anyone in the media ask him about his magic wand? I doubt it.

Former Vice President Joe Biden raced to Wisconsin, where President Trump recently visited Kenosha which was engulfed by leftist rioters. He’s supposedly ahead of Trump in the Badger State. I doubt it. The Biden operation is acting like a scrambling mess trying to catch up to Trump and push back on the narrative laid out by the recent Republican National Convention, which unlike the Democratic event, mentioned the lawlessness that has infested Democrat-run cities. And yes, some Democrats and their allies in the media have quasi-endorsed the violence…until the polling showed voters are—shocker—not supportive of anarchy and Marxist revolution. That’s what this is now.

The years-long investigation resulted in charges against 19 other foreign nationals back in Aug. 2018 for also voting illegally in 2016. The Biden campaign promoted what is being called a “dangerous conspiracy theory” about a potential coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, suggesting that the vaccine may not be safe due to it being rushed for political reasons ahead of the November elections. Speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash, Sen.
