'Maybe it’s too complicated of an issue

historic Kosovo and Serbia agreement

Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell castigated the White House press corps for a perceived lack of interest in Friday’s news that Serbia agreed to become the third country to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. "This is atrocious ... You might be too young to understand what this issue is about,” Grenell said during a White House press conference that was intended to address the news that Serbia and Kosovo had agreed to a historic agreement to normalize relations. “Maybe the older journalists should step up and say, 'This is a big deal.' ... I am astounded about what happens in D.C.

Just one more example of the immaturity and incompetence of the national media, particularly the White House press corps. They can't even pretend to act like adults during press briefings - yelling, talkiing over each other and the moderator, asking falsely predicated and stupid questions, making snide extraneous comments, etc. In sum, they are a disgrace to a formerly respected and admired profession, and should be tarred and feathered and run out of town.

I just read the comments on this story. These nitwits are beyond braindead. As Grenell said this is a big deal and I do remember that war. And the weeping and gnashing for teeth by the left and all the horrible stories coming out of Kosovo so where are they now? Too busy stirring their hatred of Trump to be bothered with actual progress around the world at achieving peace agreements? They want to go after Grenell in particular because he like the blacks have left the plantation and think for themselves. How do they justify attacking such a clearly talented man who happens to be gay? I wonder how these people can function while they are carrying that burden of pure hatred on their backs. Where are the Muslims in Congress celebrating? No they are too busy still barking like dogs while the caravan moves on as they say.

If there is any single person in Planet D.C. who has the potential for greatness, it is Richard Grenell. He is a man of great principle, character, and wisdom. Cool under pressure, steely under fire. I hope that he will choose to open the door to a Presidential run, but I'd also love to see him as VP. I can't find words adequate enough to express my admiration and hopes for this man.

Gotta Love Ric! If Trump doesn't find a prominent place for him in his new Administration, he will be missing the chance of a lifetime to drain the Swamp. Grenell if fearless and totally loyal! Obviously, he's not afraid to take on the Press (who took issue with being "lectured to". I loved it! Grenell did a great job handling his Acting DNI appointment. Nobody else was able to get those Documents and then get them declassified! Ric has a great future in the Trump Administration and I think the President likes what he sees in him!

There has to be a major role for Ric Grenell in the near term. We need him for the next 60 days doing what he did yesterday. I prescribe one dose of Kaleigh in the morning, Ric Grenell to chide the press mid afternoon, and finally President Trump around 5 PM daily until Election Day.

First, it is great news that there even IS a Special Presidential Envoy. Second, as an elite class among themselves, the DC press corps are over paid, under worked, and intent on making the news instead of reporting it. Third, Ric Grenell was right! That bunch of teenie-boppers IS too young to understand the significance of the embassy move to Jerusalem.

Can you imagine in another 3 years or so, under Trump's leadership, that we might have a broadly accepted peace in the Middle East and the media will have completely missed it happening? Sure there will be a few holdouts but if, say 75%, of the countries come to terms with Israel, that would be transformational for the region. Further, as more peace agreements are signed, the pressure on the "Palestinians" will be to work something out, maybe booting Hamas and the PLO out in the process. Do you think the media would take note of that? Do you think that BO would try to take credit for it? Do you think Shiffty would assign it to Russian collusion? Do you think that Rummey would denounce it? Grenell is a joy.

The first questioner wanted to ask him about homosexuality issues. WTF. He was there to talk about a historic agreement. He was right to go off on him. Grenell is a very talented administration team member, who has served every position ably, and he was right to be outraged that they only want to see him through the lens of who he is attracted to. When reporters ask stupid off topic questions, I wish more speakers would say, "That was a stupid question. Next." Or maybe, "Wow. That was SO off topic, better luck next time. Next question, and make it good, because you only get one strike."

When Nancy Pelosi sneaked into a San Francisco salon maskless for an illegal coiffing, it turns out that her actions reflected those of her fellow citizens across the country. We refer not to the illegality of her actions — most people feel bound by and obey local laws — but to the fact that members of the public, like the speaker, refused to submit to perpetual lockdown. Instead, regardless of how their state or local governments reacted to the second surge of coronavirus cases, people spent the month of August reopening and getting back to work. In the end, 1.4 million more people

One reason for the surging, often protracted violence in US cities is the rise of a host of progressive prosecutors who actually tilt against law and order. The trend is most glaring in places known for their kooky left-wing politics, like Portland and San Francisco, but extreme leftists have also taken over as district attorneys in cities like Chicago and Boston. Many owe big thanks for their elections to funding from far-left fatcat George Soros. In Portland, violent “protests” have dragged on for months, thanks to the idiocy of Mayor Ted Wheeler, who let hoodlums drive him out of his own condo —

Like Aesop’s fable about the tortoise and the hare, Democrats may find Biden has waited too late to run. The presidential race is unmistakably closing. On September 1, Real Clear Politics’ average of national polling had Biden lead at 6.2 percent (49.6 percent to 43.4 percent); that is down from a 9.4 percent lead on July 1. In the determinative battleground states, Biden’s lead was just 2.7 percent (48 percent to 45.3 percent),
