WASHINGTON — Joe Biden has finally emerged from his basement — and Democrats are relieved. After months of near-seclusion at his home in Delaware, the Democratic nominee has given two well-crafted speeches in two weeks: an eloquent and hopeful acceptance speech at his party’s convention and a forceful attack Monday on President Trump over the boiling issue of urban violence. So far, so good — but two speeches do not a winning campaign make. Biden needs to do much more in the two months before election day, pandemic or not. Aides handle the 77-year-old candidate as if he were as

No mention of course from the LA homeless encampment Times that in Pittsburg, twice, he wandered off into LA LA Land with incomprehensible gibberish and the ran for the exits with no questions please. DEMOCRATS I and my fellow citizens DEMAND 3 straight up 90 minute debates with our President of the United States. It is our right to ask for this. i do admit in my case it might fall under the pursuit of happiness clause. If Joe wants to be president he had better stand up with our current president and "do some 'splaining".

Re that photo with the article, Conservative Treehouse has other photos of the entire venue where the speech occurred. More optics fakery.
At least McManus finally gets to the truth on that “event”:
His speech Monday in Pittsburgh was in a cavernous former steel mill, with only television crews and reporters present. But he later donned a mask and stopped by a union local to hand out pizza to firefighters — proving that it’s sometimes worth bending the rules for a good visual.

Please...please...please...leave your basement. Walk among "the folks," and answer their questions. You don't need as teleprompter. Go get 'em, Joe.......while we laugh ourselves silly!

Maybe he can pack high school gyms with cardboard cutouts and use canned applause. That will show them!

My guess is his handlers are limited on the dosage and frequency of focus meds they can give him.

This writer has absolutely no idea who he's writing about. Probably a 20-something low-paid reporter who knows nothing, just ask Ben Rhodes!

Are you kidding?? The more Creepy Joe exposes himself the more he gives the game away. IMO, they have already decided to ride it out. No debates, no campaigning, no rallies, no press conferences. They are relying on mob violence, vote fraud, fake news and activist judges.

Well, he did some sort of performance/presser today. Selected reporters read their questions and Joe, for the most part, obviously read his response. It looked as though Doocy from Fox caught him unaware when he blurted out a question as Joe was beating it for the door.
He sounded more sane than usual, but it was clearly a very choreographed affair. He looked weary when he bailed.

Biden is like the Groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil. He doesn't come out into the light all that often.

In terms of the election cycle, it's the 11th hour. Too late for Biden. He can't even make one event without descending into gibberish and falling apart. No way he can do a whirlwind campaign. Doubtful if he will be able to successfully do a single debate, even with Chris Wallace helping him out.

They may have been well-crafted speeches but the delivery was far from well.

Is this idiot deluded? Biden is not capable of doing any of these things. Has he not watched his video clips? He can’t string two coherent sentences together. WTH

Please Joe, get out there more. We need more sound bites of Joe stumbling over every other word with the answer to every question wandering off into some other tangent.

The frustration level of the Leftists has to be going through the roof. They have hitched their political wagon to a horse bound for the glue factory. If Biden doesn't campaign, Trump will be reelected. If Biden does campaign his incompetence will become too embarrassing to ignore and Trump will be reelected. There is no winning for the Left. They have all that furious energy and nowhere to apply it that will yield any benefit to them. Time for a primal scream.

Rallies are the best part of a Presidential campaign. Trump puts on a good one and it’s really the only way to fire up your base. Not having them shows how fragile creepy joe is.

Why should he? He knows he’s going to win by rigging mail in voter fraud so why bother campaigning debating or taking questions from the press. Besides he has already had two surgeries for brain aneurisms so he could drop dead at any minute.

LOL - You just know liberals are fuming behind the scenes. Biden needs a 10-day break between every speech. Bigfoot is seen more often that Old Joe.
