On Saturday night, as members of Antifa rioted in a residential area in southeast Portland, someone on the crowd threw a Molotov cocktail, lighting a fire in the street and setting another protester on fire. That protester ran across the street with his pants on fire, falling to the ground where other protesters attempted to put out the blaze, which was extinguished when police rushed to his aid and an officer put the fire out. (Tweets/Videos) “The crowd of protesters gathered in Ventura Park at around 7 p.m. with plans to march down to the Portland Police east precinct.

Victor Davis Hanson was on with the Hon John Anderson AO, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, to discuss the upcoming 2020 election. The interview was excellent throughout but the key points were made by Hanson at the end of the interview when talking about the upcoming election at the 9:35 mark:
We are going to wait and see what happens in November to finish and there’s three or four things that we don’t know what’s going to happen. Either the virus is going to wane. If it wanes by November, Trump will be elected.

There’s pin-demonium brewing at American Airlines. Top brass at the nation’s largest commercial jet carrier is facing turbulence from within after it announced that flight attendants are now allowed to wear Black Lives Matter pins on their uniforms while on duty. The move has irked some of American’s white New York staffers, including those who have spouses or relatives who are cops—because they consider the BLM movement divisive and anti-police, saying it promotes or condones violence.(Snip) “I am completely disgusted at the fact that we can’t show support for our GOD, our COUNTRY, our LEOs but when it comes to BLM

I feel no schadenfreude for the grim future awaiting a young woman named Clara Kraebber, though I do hope for the sake of the rest of us that she ends up in prison. Far too many people, many of them young, college educated, and from affluent backgrounds, have become intoxicated from the brainwashing they received in the course of their “higher” education, and feel free to unleash their inner-Shiva by engaging in destructive riots, somehow in the cause of racial harmony, or maybe sheer revolution.
Young Ms. Kraebber is no dummy.

Major League Baseball opened this year by kneeling for the anthem and standing for Black Lives Matter. Though, despite the apparent belief that our sports-starved nation’s hunger for baseball would outweigh the league’s social justice activism, the ratings have been in the basement.
According to the numbers, baseball has joined the NBA in struggling to get sports fans to tune in and watch games.

The Biden campaign promoted what is being called a “dangerous conspiracy theory” about a potential coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, suggesting that the vaccine may not be safe due to it being rushed for political reasons ahead of the November elections.
Speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the vice presidential running mate of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, claimed that Trump may muzzle scientific experts and that the president was acting out of desperation.
“Do you trust that in the situation that we’re in now that public health experts and scientists will get the last word on the efficacy of a vaccine?” Bash asked.

Michelle Obama explained that at times she wanted to “push Barack out of the window” during the most recent episode of The Michelle Obama Podcast. The former first lady, who will celebrate her 28th wedding anniversary with husband Barack Obama next month, spoke candidly about the up and downs of her marriage with guest Conan O’Brien. “There were times that I wanted to push Barack out of the window. And I say that because it’s like, you’ve got to know the feelings will be intense. But that doesn’t mean you quit,”

One of Jesus Christ’s most well-known sayings comes from the Gospel of Matthew: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves.”(Snip) “I now invite you to stand, and joining [sic] us in the prayer for racial justice, by responding ‘yes’ to each of the following statements,” he began. What followed was disgraceful: A priest of the triune God Almighty began mouthing poisonous, divisive, racial Marxist platitudes.(Snip) But this is the strategy: Conceal the presence of radical statements by sprinkling them among other decent and even laudable ones.

President Trump, who wouldn’t have won had it not been for the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Antonin Scalia’s death, has now ensured that a major part of his legacy is in the judiciary. Having appointed nearly a third of all circuit judges — a record 30 in his first two years, about the same as Bush and Obama combined at that point in their presidencies, and 50 in three (where Obama had 55 in two terms) — he has also had back-to-back Supreme Court picks. And Justices Ginsburg (87), Breyer (82), and Thomas (72) aren’t getting any younger.
(Snip)a president has few constitutional powers more important than picking judges.

A new investigative documentary sheds even more light on the extremely questionable foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, and how such deals put American national security at risk, according to the New York Post.
The 41-minute documentary, “Riding the Dragon: The Bidens’ Chinese Secrets,” is produced and hosted by author and investigative journalist Peter Schweizer, who has received critical acclaim for his previous works investigating the political elite. His last film was 2015’s “Clinton Cash,” which similarly documented the numerous ways in which Bill and Hillary Clinton profited off of their time in public life.
