Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on Thursday morning, “I don’t think there should be any debates.” Then she added, “I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him.” Anyone paying attention knew this was coming. There is no way in hell senile Joe Biden can stand in a debate with President Donald Trump. (Snip) Democrats are TERRIFIED of President Trump.

If Sleepy Uncle Joe says he wants to teleconfernce debate or tries to weasel out of the debates, President Trump should (with TV cameras in tow) walk up to Biden's house and insist that they debate right then and there in Biden's basement. Nasty Nancy needs to go stuff her pie hole full of that $12 a pint chocolate ice cream.

There is a wise old saying: "You can hold your tongue and let people think you're a fool or you can speak and remove all doubt." Obviously, Biden is better off holding his tongue. Debating PDJT (or any Republican high school student) would demonstrate to the American people that Biden is non compos mentis.

While the leftist and liberal Democrats would love to have a “Trojan Horse” like Biden with the leftist Harris elected, chances are the Democrats also have an insurance policy plan if it looks like Biden-Harris is crashing and burning, and that is to create enough chaos to delay the election result past January 21, 2021 at Noon, when Trump and Pence’s terms end and when they must leave office. Then have a Democrat controlled House of Representatives select the next President, maybe Biden, maybe Pelosi, or maybe some other real leftist Democrat who could never be elected in his or her own rite through the traditional general election process. Remember Pelosi has said that Trump is going to be removed from the White House on January 21, 2021 at Noon no matter what!

My understanding is that, if it were to go to the house, it is not a vote of the house members. Each state delegation gets one vote. There are more red states than blue. If someone knows differently, please correct me. That said, Trumpsters need to turn out in droves to keep this from even being a possibility.

Here is my take on this debate/no debate issue. Trump said Biden should take a drug test prior to the debates. He surely knew this would be unacceptable. He was offering Joe a way out. He was being magnanimous. Nancy picked up the ball and ran with the idea of no debates. Joe missed his chance to bow out with grace. If Joe is not careful his handlers will just throw their hands up and say...OK Joe, you win, go ahead and debate Trump, and be prepared for a trip to the woodshed.

Transcripts of House Intelligence Committee interviews that have been cleared for release show top law enforcement and intelligence officials affirming they had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, senior administration and intelligence community officials told Fox News on Wednesday. This would align with the results of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation — which found no evidence of illegal or criminal coordination between President Trump, the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016 — but the numerous transcribed interviews could raise further questions about committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s past statements saying that there was “direct evidence” of collusion.

An essential principle of the United States is that it is a free country, with individual liberties guaranteed, and government power limited. That concept is now being tested. A deadly worldwide pandemic has led to draconian lockdowns, forced closings of businesses, and even mandatory “stay at home” orders, some with Orwellian, friendly sounding names like “Safer at Home” (Snip) Not only has this crisis given government officials with authoritarian impulses an opportunity to rule by decree, it has exposed the lamentable fact that most Americans tend to willingly obey such “orders” without even questioning whether they are legally valid.
