Fox News anchor Chris Wallace suggested that President Trump must believe he is his own “best salesman” and dubbed the 2020 Republican National Convention “the Trump convention.” The “Fox News Sunday” host weighed in during the network’s coverage on the “unprecedented” nature of this year’s event amid the coronavirus pandemic that rendered the traditional nominating conventions for both parties impossible. (Video) “I’ve watched most of the last hour and a half and what really strikes me is that while we’re calling this a Republican convention, it’s really the Trump convention,” Wallace said Monday.
Well Duh!

Pay no attention to what Chris Wallace has to say, He is nothing but a Democrat political activist masquerading as a "journalist."
The RNC has every right to run their convention in whatever manner they wish, just as the DNC did. Wallace is upset because the DNC failed to articulate a plan for the future while the RNC presented a positive, uplifting message.
Wallace, Biden and the Democrats fail to recognize that a successful campaign must be based on more that hatred of your opponent.

And the DNC was . . . the Biden convention . . . overtaken by radical leftists.
What insight does Wallace give here? He may as well say a corn convention for farmers is about . . . corn. Or a aviation convention is about airplanes, helicopters, and gliders.
Way to state the obvious there, Chris! My god, that journalism degree helped you recognize THE OBVIOUS!

I used to have Fox News on most of the time, but now about the only time I think of watching is the 8-10 block. If it is on when Chris Wallace appears, the channel is changed immediately. Also true with the black woman who was a previous democrat operative that supplied Hillary with the debate questions comes on. What she says irritates me, as does her Arfo accent because she cannot pronounce the "g" when the word ends in "ing". I find that irritatin' and I then go to changin' the channel.

I miss his point. The President is the alpha male and leads the pack. The biggest guy in the room. The team captain. The main stud. The valetictorian. The lead role.
Give me time and I’ll come up with other hoary cliches, but he is terrific.

It's why I watch the convention on C-Span. I want to hear the speakers, not meaningless drivel from the likes of Wallace

Back when delegates used to arrive at a convention not knowing who the nominee might be, the convention might be more about the party. And Chris Wallace has never covered a convention like that. One has not occurred in decades. So yeah, this would be unprecedented if it were, say, 1912?

Why in the world would President Trump invite backstabber Bush to speak?
My bet is he's one of the Never Trump Republicans given his public statements!
I used to watch Chris Matthews on Sunday morning. Maria Bartiromo took his place for me!

Mr. Wallace doesn't get Trump, just like the Democrats and RINO's. I say he's a little jealous of all the respect and admiration Trump gets from the Republican and Independent voters.

Wallace gets more unctuous by the day. The only exception to the general rule on national conventions was last week. No way in Hell was that a "Biden Convention." He didn't even know that it was going on.

Hey, earth calling Chris Wallace! The event IS the party’s standard bearers Convention. This is so good BECAUSE it represents all that our President is about, not the political party. Trump is all about the American people not the perfumed princes in D.C. Chris (and those Bush RINOs) might not kije it but that’s the way it is. lol

2012 was the Romney convention and 2008 and 2012 were the Obama conventions for the commies. Chris Wallace is totally unhinged in his hatred of our great President. He may only be exceeded by Hillary and Biden in their hatred of President Trump. Please get rid of him Fox News.

Now that Biden's trying to portray himself as a moderate, Chrissy forgets Biden denied that on his program in February, calling himself a progressive. Biden's campaign would be silly not to have Wallace interview the candidate. It would be a love fest.

After watching Fox on 1st night, missing so many of the speeches due to Hannity et all talking to their guests, and hearing Donna Brazille and Juan Williams spout off, last night I went to CSPAN. Wonderful. No commentators, see the entire program without breaks. At the end, I turned to Fox, only to hear Chris Wallace criticizing Melania speaking from the Rose Garden. So I turned it off! Watch CSPAN. You'll love it.

Wallace is pathetic, a partisan and unethical media person. He has zero credibility as far as I am concerned. He seems to like the work unprecedented now. He is ok with damocrats doing things for the first time, but can't have Republicans thinking outside the box and doing things that aren't already accepted by the Dems and media. Guy is a total scum.

There are at least 930 other words Chris Wallace could put in his vocabulary which mean the same as unprecedented. Too bad he is such a stick in the mud, he can only use unprecedented.

So, Chris, will you be changing the title of your Sunday show on Fox News?
It's currently billed as Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.
Yet somehow you're offended that the President has too large a role in the convention?

He's the high energy leader of his party Spanky Wallace, what else do you expect? Hiding in the bunker of the WH like Biden? You are just jealous because our candidate/president is actually popular and functional, unlike the guy you are stuck with. Never fails to amaze me how dumb he is compared to his father Mike. At least Mike was honest about his beliefs, whereas his son is rather sly and disingenuous about his.
