Former CIA Director John Brennan was interviewed Friday by US Attorney John Durham's team as part of its inquiry into the investigators and intelligence officials behind the 2016 Russia election interference probe. The interview took place at CIA headquarters and lasted for eight hours, said Nick Shapiro, Brennan's former deputy chief of staff and senior adviser.'Brennan was informed by Mr. Durham that he is not a subject or a target of a criminal investigation and that he is only a witness to events that are under review,' Shapiro said in a statement.

Rumors are flying that Brennan is not the subject of an investigation.
I really, really hope that those rumors are wrong. This country needs to see a traitor like Brennan in prison, or the corrupt coup plot will be the new normal.

don't you have an evil wish that they used a perjury trap on him?
C'mon. Don't you?

Relax. It may not be over for Brennan.
Remember when President Trump was told he was not a subject of an investigation?
When did we start paying attention to rumors?

I think that Brennan is trying to stay ahead of the tsunami coming for him. He has been in the spy game for so long, he knows how to play it very well. I seriously doubt that Trump will allow Brennan to just slip away, not after what Brennan tried to do to Trump. Like others have said, this is personal. We cannot let any future president, no matter which party, go through what Trump went through this first term. I suspect Trump knows a whole lot more about Brennan's activities than Brennan would like as well.

People in Brennan's position have considerable tax payer paid assets to hel them cover their tracks. He is not a target not because he is not guilty. But because they cannot get to him.

Durham has known about Brennan for a couple of years. Glad he has gotten around to asking him a few questions. Average Guy and Durham say they aren't going to be rushed. Certainly there is no evidence of them rushing, and no one has accused them of that.

Ah, John Brennan joins the long list of Obama and Clinton lawbreakers who received immunity from an allegedly Republican Administration. Only generous pensions, rich book deals and large contracts with CNN and MSNBC await them.
In the name of decency and equal justice, lock someone up. I know no one will be, but I can hope that among all the promises Trump has made and kept, that he keeps this one.

Ummm, not following the 8 hours of interview, FBI should have everything at this point, they just need to lay out Brennan’s option, spill your guts or go away for a long time.

Since the AP wrote the story it turned into a full blown defense of Brennan.. but we know he lied to congress in 2017:
Mr. Gowdy: Do you know if the Bureau ever relied on the Steele dossier as any — as part of any court filings, applications, petitions, pleadings?
Mr. Brennan: I have no awareness.
Mr. Gowdy: Did the CIA rely on it?
Mr. Brennan: No.
Mr. Gowdy: Why not?
Mr. Brennan: Because we — we didn’t. It wasn’t part of the corpus of intelligence information that we had. It was not in any way used as a basis for the Intelligence Community assessment that was done. It was — it was not.

Does he still have his Security Clearance? I think Trump should pull Them from all of the Leftovers from the Obama Administration. These Rats have way to much information at their fingertips!

Brennan was interviewed for 8 hours at CIA headquarters. STRANGE!!! Brennan had his security clearance pulled a couple of years ago by the Trump administration. Why wasn't he interviewed at the Justice Department or at FBI headquarters?

Re #17, so that he would be more relaxed, more comfortable, hopefully expansive in his answers. They wanted information. They wanted him to be at ease.

Guilty as sin, yet he's not a target or subject. An innocent person who knows next to nothing is interviewed for eight hours. Whatever. . .

It's a start. Now they will interrogate other lowlives associated with Brennan's crime to reconcile their answers against his. They'll know who is lying and who else to bring in for questioning. Doorknob Hussein and his bottom-dwellers could be stressed and panic'd.

Oh wait, he wasn't going to be interviewed... remember John B's Lawyer?
I don't know what is worse, to be the FIRST one interviewed in a far ranging corrupt scandal involving treason, or the LAST one... I'm thinking that being last is none too goo.
