Former Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich crossed party lines Monday night to speak out in support of presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden at this year’s virtual Democratic National Convention (DNC).During his brief online testimony standing at a literal fork in the road in his hometown Columbus suburb of Westerville, which also held the fourth round of Democratic debates, Kasich’s appearance was meant to suggest broad bipartisan support even coming from a NeverTrumper who never had and never was going to support Trump in the first place.(Snip) “He’s reasonable, faithful, respectful, and you know, no one pushes Joe around.”

Bernie wants money for families “taking a break from working??” Is that what we’re calling the Coronavirus these days?

So Kasich paints a picture of a lone motorcyclist, daring and willing to follow his own direction. Bernie paints a picture of a truck driver, responsible, practical, hauling what is loaded and making delivery where scheduled. It sounds like there are two Joes. The real Joe escaped the old folks home, got in a car, and has no idea where he is or where he is going.

I have visions of Kasich giving his little "crossroads speech" and Bernie standing behind him giving Kasich bunny ears. Not a serious thinker, neither one of them.

I'm fond of criticizing headlines particularly when they say the opposite of the actual story. In this case the headline pretty well says it all.

As Yogi said, Kasich came to a fork in the road and took it. He and Boehner are Ohio's prides and joy!

That's because he's a bully and an extortionist. Ask the dog faced pony soldier and Ukraine.

Funny, Kasich still doesn't realize that he was used.
He truly feels "they're my friends across the aisle" crap, when they are simply looking for information to use against Republicans in the next campaign, John.

Kasich is such a wussy. Really, dude! The choice is between socialism (Biden/Harris) and free market capitalism (Trump/Pence) -- more government versus less government, government-run health care and private health care, tyranny and liberty, Antifa/BLM and freedom.
Kasich so loathes Mr. Trump that he'd give up the right policies in favor of someone he fancies. Screw him and the horse he rode in on! I wish we could protest in front of that SOB's house for days. No looting. Just protesting. Would he like it? Nope. But that is what socialism brings to the rest of us. So screw him!

Nobody cares what John Kasich (my dad was a Mailman) says. I'm sure any Democrats watching him last night wished he would get off and let Democrats speak. Nobody respects someone like Kasich who is a Sore Loser so now he's going to join the other Team. Guess what John, They DON'T WANT YOU either! So, now your a nobody without a Home. Smooth move!

I read the comments and I'm a bit disappointed. Don't you people realize that his father was a barber. Or was he a cook? Maybe a plumber..., mai..., maintenance man. That's it, maintenance man.

I'll give Bernie the carpetbagging big mouth from NYC this, he got at least 3 houses out of the deal. Much better than when he tried working for a living. I am amazed at the number of stupid people who 'follow' Bernie, like he has some great ideas. Even old boomer types who should know better by now. I guess, envy, greed, and pious virtue without having to work for it will always have some appeal.

Kasich is a fool. Does he understand who he has allied with? The people he has sided with don't even believe in representative government.

The photo of Kasich is just so Kasich. Apparently he went to his home town in Ohio and stood at a fork in the road - or the driveway? Whatever. Priceless. And Phillip Wegman tweets a great comment about the photo.
