The Federalist’s Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway spoke out about former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith’s inclination to plead guilty for fabricating evidence suggesting Russian collusion, saying it is “the first indication of some measure of accountability” against those who spread the false narrative. “At the end of the day, not a single American was found to have colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election, but now we have the first indication of some measure of accountability for the people who perpetrated this false theory they did so much damage to the Republican president and his voters,” Hemingway said on Fox News’s “Special Report With Bret Baier.” *Correction

Oooo! One low-level schmuck FBI lawyer. They are all just shivering with worry. Hey Barr! Draw some real blood - then I'll be impressed.

Really? All the facts in Clinesmith’s case were fully revealed in the IG Horowitz’ report dated Dec 9, 2019. The indictment is five pages long, and could have been written on Dec 10. Why did it take more than eight months?

What is disheartening is that Clinesmith sought out the government to make a deal, knowing he was nailed already, and 6 months ago. Durham did nothing here, but agree to a hand slap.

I object to calling this coup attempt a "hoax". Hoax is far to small, unimportant, and just ordinary a word for what was attempted. It was an attempt to overthow a duly elected President, and THAT is worth of the biggest, nastiest, most horrific terms that we can find.
The people who did it are traitors, and deserve extremely harsh treatment. The top leaders would have been executed in more sensible times. Sadly, I doubt we have the national will to do what is needed in that vein. Life in prison would be good for the leaders, since we probably can't execute them.Underlings....perhaps 15 or 20 years in prison would be about right.

Thank you, Mollie, for your relentless work on behalf of 'the truth'. You are speaking (and working) for many of us who have no public forum, but rely on patriots like you to carry on the battle for the preservation of freedom and basic human rights here in America. But - we are out here in great numbers - silent, but seething.

#1 - Clinesmith is NOT a "low-level schmuck FBI lawyer", but the man at the nexus of this plot. I suggest anyone who thinks he's a nobody pay attention to the web and how it worked in this case. They'll work him the way they apparently planned to squeeze Flynn. It's likely he is seen as the weak link in their roster of bad actors.
I have issue with Ms Hemingway's saying "the people who perpetrated this false theory"...that's the least of it!
This entire coup attempt is criminal, from beginning to end, and was not designed to merely spread rumors, but to generate political and/or legal circumstances by which to REMOVE the President of the United States by conspiracy. Simply put, the conspirators manufactured a web of deceit as a 24-karat platform for impeachment and/or criminal indictment. What failed was the necessary public opinion that would have allowed the Senate to convict on the specious charges eventually made by the House. These aren't the high school bad girls gossiping around the lunch table.
This is the UNIPARTY...unless you believe otherwise, of course.

I agree with #4. A hoax to me equivocates to being a silly prank. No! This was a crime against you and me and our country. The bad hombres in the FBI, DOJ and Oval Office never dreamed they would have to defend themselves, because they thought Hillary would be elected. This is called Karma at it's most incredulous example. This is how fake media and fake pollsters got faked out in the end.

Well the Democrats aim to arrest, indict, and imprison President Trump because he defended himself and his campaign staff and Administration from the Democrat phony Russian "collusion" claims, so depending upon the outcome of the election, it looks like if the Democrats win the election that they will still be going after Trump and everyone who defended him for interfering with the Mueller investigation. Biden recently said that when he is President that he will not interfere with such criminal prosecutions.
Make sure that you vote in November.

I love you Mollie - - but please stop calling it the Russian Collusion Hoax. Those words mean nothing. The proper term is the Obama Spying Scandal - - exactly what it was. OSS - - Obama Spying Scandal - - everyone!
