For Hell’s Kitchen resident Bernadette Mastrangel, a lunch date with a friend ended ugly—discourtesy of an unhinged and uninvited guest. A bare-chested homeless man, wearing a red, white and blue cowboy hat, flew into a rage when the restaurant manager told him the bathroom was for customers only. “F--k you!” he screamed before turning on Mastrangel’s pal at a nearby table. “He goes crazy, started yelling at us, gets in our faces,” recalled Mastrangel, an eight-year neighborhood resident. “And he spits into her food.” The bizarre and unprovoked incident comes as residents of the Manhattan neighborhood complain their streets are increasingly

As I recall, that's the exact behavior of democrats exhibit towards republicans in restaurants. When it happens to them, the unprovoked behavior is bizarre and crazy. When the shoe's on the other foot it doesn't feel so good. No sympathy from me.

All is NOT well in liberal land. It is unfortunate that anyone has to suffer through this garbage but the Left is targeting liberal land because they can pull off this baloney and get away with it. Trump has shown that on federal property, the thugs will be arrested. In Republican controlled cities, the police are free and encouraged to enforce the law. So the thugs have to turn on the people that they claim to represent. But even those people are fed up.

What was their exact thought process? "Hey, I hear there's this place called Hell's Kitchen. That sounds nice. I think I'll move there."

My daughter lived in Hell’s Kitchen during the mid-late aughts after she graduated from college. Her neighborhood was clean, quiet and safe with lots of young adults who were starting their careers. It was so nice my husband and I even briefly considered getting an apartment in the city for ourselves. Later, our daughter moved to Harlem where she shared a spacious apartment with two others and had a view of Central Park. That neighborhood was also safe and clean. It was a world apart from the NYC I knew from 1974-1995 and all thanks to Rudolf Giuliani and his wonderful team. Poor leadership alone doesn’t cause what has again happened to NYC; criminal leadership does. DeBlasio is a mobster of some sort. He deserves to be horsewhipped and then launched into the Atlantic in a raft heading east, never to be seen again. With his hideous wife. I mean it literally.

I am amazed that the NY Daily News published this article. The vast majority of the media have worked hard to ignore all the problems besetting our cities. For example, I wonder how many Americans even know what happened in Chicago's Magnificent Mile last weekend (massive looting, massive destruction). The story, which should have been front page news all over the country went largely unreported. Also, in Chicago, this weekend's protests were reported by Chicago newspapers as if the newspapers were neutral referees who determined the protesters were the good guys, and the police were the bad guys. If you've ever been in a city with anarchists protesting, you know exactly who the bad guys are, and you totally support the police. The newspapers' pov are offensive nonsense.

No sympathy. New Yorkers voted for Comrade DeBozo, not just once, but twice.
They richly deserve every problem that DeBozo has created for them.

Complaining is a given with New Yorkers. Being attacked by an able-bodied man in a wheelchair is bizarre and unprovoked? No, that's the Real NYC Experience, as endorsed each time they elect the likes of Warren Wilhelm Jr., Chuck Schumer, Andrew Cuomo, and AOC. And those hotels for the homeless? Of the $2 million NYC hands over each day to De Blasio's hotelier friends, 75% is paid by FEMA (i.e., the rest of us), and we don't even get a cigarette afterward.
