Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe tried to buy a firearm and was denied a few days ago. He later discovered that he was on the prohibited person list regarding the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Was this an error? Was this over his investigative reporting? The Federal Bureau of Investigation put him on that list. What’s going on? O’Keefe is not a convicted felon. So, it’s no shocker that when he found out his constitutional right to own firearms was infringed upon, he sued. New York City was hit with a string of deadly shootings overnight. Two victims are dead and at least 13 people were shot in ten separate shootings since 11 p.m. Friday. Four of the shootings happened in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. In Harlem, officers say four were shot at a block party on Malcolm X Boulevard between 112 Street and 113 Street. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Jacob G. Thompson, 27, on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault in connection to the incident in Screven County. Thompson has been booked into the Screven County Jail and was fired from the Department of Public Safety, Georgia State Patrol, according to a release from the GBI.
