To be clear, the request here isn’t to let Pennsylvania voters mail ballots after polls close. They need to be postmarked before then. The request is to have the court extend the deadline for when ballots need to be received in order to be counted, which by law is 8 p.m. on Election Day. Right now, the Postal Service recommends that ballots be mailed a full week before Election Day, i.e. October 27, in order to ensure that they’re received on time. But Pennsylvania law allows voters to *apply* for a ballot up until October 27. That means many voters won’t even have ballots

I pine for the "good old days" when election day was a day. Now there are all sorts of nefarious machinations involved and the voting/counting doesn't stop until the liberal progressives get the result they want.

And in the very fine print of sub, sub, subsection XYZ is the proviso that DemoRATs get to use all the bags full of ballots they have stashed away in the car trunks, so that any election, local, state, national, where the Republican is not light years ahead of the DemoRAT, the ALL TRUNK VOTES MATTER clause comes into play and is enacted 'for the children.'

And each precinct will have 125% of registered voters voting. ( I think if they have over 100% of registered voters voting their precinct should NOT be counted. THAT is FRAUD)

Governor Wolf has to have the lowest IQ of the leaders of all 57 states. If ever there was a somewhat male version of Karen.

The Law is the Law. Even PA shouldn't be able to skirt it. So, it looks to me like PA has a problem and needs to change THEIR Laws. We should know by the end of Election Day who won. That's what it comes down to. No votes (with the exception of Military Votes from Overseas) should be valid! None found in closets, car trunks and School Rooms at Polling places. None should be allowed after the polls close!

Not enough time. The postal service has collapsed. Delivery delays are often more than two weeks and, in our experience, often delivered to the wrong address!

No No No. Tough sheet PA, if they aren’t received in time that’s it. Military from wherever exempted.

Allowing Federal UNION employees to handle our ballots is inherently wrong.
How many Presidential elections have Democrats voided the overseas military ballots, but here they're going to "keep polling stations open for three more days" thereby allowing more fraud through Unionistas?

How about allowing mail in ballots to be counted that are received up to 30 days after the election so that the Democrats will be able to figure out how many fraudulent mail in ballots they will need to win?

People in Lebanon, PA can hand-deliver their mail-in ballots to a secure box outside the county courthouse/municiple building, which the voter registration office will check, at least once daily. I think the odds for voter fraud this way, are about equal to voting in person. Plus, I think the Dems could use Covid-19 contact tracing to suppress in-person voting in November.

If you can't cast your vote on election day to be counted then you are just tardy and it doesn't count. It's like showing up for school on the weekend and the doors are locked the school week is over and you're just tardy. Forgetaboutit Pennsylvania get with the program or you won't count.

If I choose to go vote in person, I have no choice as to deadline. It's when the polls close on election day. I can't go to the election commission office and ask to vote late. If people have their ballot and it is allowed to mail them in, those ballots on hand at the close of in-person voting should be counted. Those that arrive late...well, tough. The USPS is NOT a ballot box.

So Pennsylvania is asking the court to change the law? Court don't make laws and can't change laws.

Since we will know who the candidates are by the middle of September, the mail in ballots should be in the polling offices no later than October 15. No excuses. If the voters are too lazy to get them selves to the mail box in time then they don't deserve to vote. I don't think mailing in votes should be allowed as there is no chain of custody but the liberals will win so they have a better chance to take over and destroy what is left of our country.

This is what Trump means when he says democrats want to delay election results for days, or even weeks while they try to steal it. Election day means just that, the DAY we elect a president, it isn't election week.

The States are responsible for the method of an election. That is the states' rights. The Federal government handles Federal activities.
They do not handle election methods of the States. The Postal service is a Federal activity to deliver mail throughout the country.
How it does so and how fast is a Federal responsibility.
If the State wants to use the Federal System(Post Office) in its election process then it has to understand the Federal government does not have to change anything to accommodate the State.
It is however upon the States to have a fair and speedy election process. Just do not involve Federal agencies in the process.
