The New York City Police Benevolent Association personally endorsed President Trump on Friday night for the next election as the commander in chief leans into his “law and order” platform. The Post exclusively reported earlier Friday that the PBA planned to back him amid the city’s increase in crime and clashes with protesters “I cannot remember when we’ve ever endorsed for the president of the United States until now — that’s how important this is,” said Pat Lynch, the combative PBA president at an event with Trump in his Bedminster club Friday evening.“We need your strong voice across the country,”

The primary job of any government is to protect the citizens. That's what the police are for. de Blab like many other dims are waging war on the police by calling for defunding of the people who protect us. How anyone could not support PT is beyond me. If Joe and Ho make it I'll have to start carrying a gun. I don't like guns. They make loud noises and I like peace and quiet. But you've got to do what you have to do.

The state of this country right now is all because Hillary lost. Just keep that in mind and in perspective ok. Police will not endorse Joeker and Miss Kamaltoe.

This is one of those things that you never thought you would see in your lifetime. New York City had to be destroyed to open some eyes.

What took them so long? They turned their backs on Wilhelm years ago and should have endorsed any Republican from then on. Lots of police unions around the country are doing the same. I wonder how much campaign $$$$ will go to PDT instead of Fingers because of this.

Correction: Reply 2
The state of this country right now is a result of the Democrats and their deep-state minions trying to overthrow President Trump because Hillary lost. Not a single Democrat should survive the November elections because of this insurrection.

If there was a way for the Army, Navy, Marines, Merchant Marines, and Coast Guard to openly endorse the President, Check Mate.
To think that all of the suffering and misery inflicted on Americans for the past four years was at the hands of Billary. This obnoxious little snit she has had since then that rubbed off on the rest of the dims and msm, has been beyong disgusting.

The primary job of any government is to protect the citizens and that is correct n a free society. But under socialism/communism the government is there to control its citizens and not allow freedom of choice, capitalism. Look at Cuba and Venezuela, the people are a herd, on a plantation where there are no freedoms. Oh, but the elites live well. You see, while they feed you rice and beans, they enjoy lobster and filet. But Biden doesn't tell you that part. Got it..

For those opining about the primary purpose of the police; there is no legal requirement for the police to protect any citizen (except in very limited circumstances, such as being arrested), or legal liability for failure. That's the law in all 50 states. Their purpose is to 'keep the peace', protect the government and draw chalk outlines after the fact.
Every time a case has come before any of our courts over failure of the police to protect a citizen, the courts (rightly, if you think about it) have stated each citizen is responsible for their and their families protection, not the police. Look it up. Again, that's the law, as the police can't possibly be everywhere, with one assigned to each citizen, unless, perhaps, you're in China.
So the next time you start nodding your head in agreement when a politician or other leftard says the police are there to protect you, so you don't need the means to protect yourself or shouldn't even have the right to protect yourself or your family, ask yourself why are they making that clearly erroneous claim. (Or why they are lying, if you prefer.)

America is watching every move the DNC makes.... and soros is not going to take over the White House.... Police Departments in the democratic cities that are burning need to stand down for their own safety and let those cities vote out the democrats....you want law and order then get rid of the democraps that run these states and cities....

Now they see the light? They conspired with the Dems for salaries, benefits, and obscene pensions and when SHTF stood and watched crimes against property and PEOPLE without doing their sworn duty. I am sorry but they are just as guilty as DeBlasio. I admire the risks they take on our behalf and am glad they have woken up but I also see them as needing to apologize for past sins before I will really see their change of voting as a true change of heart.
