Hundreds of President Trump supporters descended onto the streets of Beverly Hills to protest property destruction and the 'villainization' of police while two similar demonstrations were held in Texas. These counter-demonstrations are in response to a series of anti-racism and Black Lives Matter protests that have gripped the country since George Floyd's death on Memorial Day. At the heart of such protests are a staunch distaste for law enforcement, which has been increasingly scrutinized for using excessive force, racial profiling and brutality.President Trump has on several occasions labeled Black Lives Matter protesters as liberal 'anarchists,' but he was dubbed hypocritical in light of conservative citizens brandishing firearms during anti-lockdown demonstrations.

The Brits in the Daily Mail seem to confuse open carry with “brandishing.” Trump is hypocritical? Only in their eyes, not mine.

It's starting. People are tired of this useless lockdown. It came out that the democrat Governors and mayors are to make our lives so miserable that we will not vote for President Trump in fear the same will continue. Well, there is one solution, vote Republican straight ticket and put all these liberal Governors, congressman, senators and mayors in retirement. We need a red wave to let the democrats know that we are fed up.

Maybe we were premature in ceding Calee Fornia to the democrats. Maybe the lockdowns, the homeless, the taxes and the rioting have caused a reevaluation in the occupants of paradise. We shall see.

#4 reminds me of an old Steve Martin line of recurring skits where whatever Martin's character was, in a flash of enlightenment, says all these things that maybe will get better, ending with 'naaaah.'

If the peasants are revolting (insert Mel Brooks), I guess that means it’s time for a new round of Coronavirus to be seeded into the red states.

What these people did was incredibly brave. I believe it's just the beginning. They represent so many more of us. Good news finally from California. And that looks like a lot more than 400 spread out over the space between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Right on, #7. To be honest, it takes no courage at all to publicly stand up for President Trump in my conservative town. Yet, its been hard for us to organize a MAGA rally so far. People are nervous.
Wow, I admire these citizen’s true bravery. We could use more of these rallies in Republican cities and towns. Perhaps this will light a fire so we see many many of these! I guess Beverly Hills followed the example of those awesome MAGA Boat rallies. God bless these patriotic Californians. I wonder if our Timber Queen and King are there in the middle of it? I know Pat Boone was cheering!!

Leftists always try to don the mantle of inevitability in all circumstances. Once they win a state they act like they will own it forever. Their control is total. Until it isn't. The Democrats don't own California. They don't even own the cities. (Well, maybe they own San Francisco.) California is changing all the time. People's attitudes change. It is just that the state is so gigantic that turning things around takes time due to inertia, if nothing else. But failed governance finally catches up to the governors.

The term needs to be "the George Floyd overdose death".....again and again. Repeat this every time the topic comes up.

The butthead witch who went to harass the police officer should be careful who she tries that BS with. I might have started by telling her to mind her own business, and if she persisted, offered to spit in her face if she wanted to keep it up.

Very few masks, smiling people, no violence. I hope that residents of Portland see this and respond in a positive way - by ridding themselves of the scum in their city.
