New York attorney general to

Original Article

New York State Attorney General Letitia James said she will deliver a "major national announcement" on Thursday. A statement released Wednesday evening said the announcement will happen at her office at 11:30 a.m. The subject of the announcement was not immediately clear. Late last month, James "asked a federal judge to consider a possible inquiry into false statements from the Trump administration that led the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office to retract arguments in defense of a policy to exclude New York from federal programs intended to expedite international travel," according to the New York Law Journal.

Comments:

Considering the content of the article, it hardly seems possible to not conclude that the “major national announcement” will be another effort to besmirch the reputation of President Trump.

This sounds like the case where NY was excluded from the Global Entry / TSA Precheck program because they couldn't validate driver's license information due to illegal aliens being given DLs. I agree this will be more Trump bashing noise. Mrs. Diamondbob.

The dims and msm decided to preempt AG Barr's and Durham's Spygate investigation report by making this "major national announcement" on Thursday which has to do with the President effectively discrediting their report before it is even issued. Barr and Durham, you sat on your hands way too long to finish your investigation. How about publish your report on Wednesday.

A voter registration group is sending hundreds of thousands of mail-in and absentee ballots to voters in states that do not automatically mail the ballot applications themselves. The Center for Voter Information, a 501(c)4 nonprofit advocacy organization, is responsible for the mail-in ballot applications, in an apparent attempt to promote the voting method President Trump has repeatedly condemned. The mailings contain legitimate ballot applications, but at first glance appear to be from a government source, which is “potentially misleading” for recipients, according to election officials. The Center for Voter Information, which is affiliated with nonprofit called the Voter Participation Center,

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed into law Wednesday a measure designed to offer additional protections to police officers despite opposition from a national anti-police brutality movement. House Bill 838 makes bias-motivated intimidation of first responders a crime. It would apply to anyone responsible in the death or serious bodily injury of a police officer, firefighter or emergency medical technician, and to anyone who causes damage of $500 or more to property owned by police and first responders. The crime is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
