Presidential candidate Joe Biden (D) released a video on Wednesday featuring himself revving a hunter green Corvette Stingray — an American classic — while promising to move the country to electric vehicles. “I like to drive. I used to think I was a pretty good driver,” Biden said in the video showing the presidential hopeful revving up the engine with a mask on. “I didn’t get a chance to flat-shift into second. I was afraid I’d go through those guys,” he said, laughing. The video then showed Biden opening the hood of the car and reminiscing over his “incredible memories” associated with the vehicle.
The Dim handlers were undoubtedly terrified he’d drive away and get lost.
Happens a fair amount to people in his condition.

Idiot. A 65 Vette was pretty good in its day but even my 2028 (Texas built) Toyota Tundra pickup could squash it in the quarter mile. New muscle cars like Mustangs and Dodge Chargers would be across the line before Joe hit second gear. And the there's the fact that it steers like a pig compared to modern cars

Gee, and the electric Corvette is a bargain, too, at ONLY $750,000.
For that you can but 12 regular gas-powered Corvettes!

Electric cars will be fine, once they can be powered by on-board windmills and solar panels! As long as we need fossil fuels to generate the electricity needed to charge the batteries it's a lost cause, as far as eliminating fossil fuel for vehicles.
How much would infrastructure to support charging stations everywhere cost? What to do while the car is recharging for a couple hours? Visit the gift shop?

What do you want to bet that Biden andcthe rest of the "Inner Party" will have exemptions cut out for themselves so that they can keep driving their own favorite internal combustion cars?

He wants to drive 200 mph in an electric Corvette. What does that have to do with being POTUS? Ah yeah . . . Green New Deal -- also known as "government boondoggle" and "massive unemployment" and "massive tax increases" and "Communism." Say it isn't so, Joe! What a complete and utter f-tard!

Impressive editing! I want to see the raw version before they cut out the parts where he calls it a Mustang and drives it off into the bushes... We will see more and more of these slick little videos that create the illusion that Biden can still string words together to make complete sentences.

Biden is simply re-enacting the scene from the movie Rain Man, where Raymond (Dustin Hoffman) says “I’m a very good driver”. And if Biden doesn’t get back to his basement to watch Judge Wapner.......

#15 - Indeed, had Hannah done her research she would have known that the green for the 1965 Corvette was called "Glen Green" by Chevrolet.

“flat-shift”??? I’ve been driving cars and trucks with manual transmissions for 51 years. I have never, ever heard the term “flat-shift.” What the heck is Sleepy Joe talking about?

Flat shifting is a technique of destroying your transmission by cramming an up shift through unsynched hearings, while at the same time destroying your engine by full throttle of an unloaded engine. When the clutch is popped, the clutch plate is damaged. . And the joints may be damaged. Same thing can happen to a country on a down shift to an idling engine.

What a man. I mean He Man. Even Chuck Norris is afraid of Joe when Joe starts 'flat shifting' Corvettes. Man he is tough when you think about it. Living on a public servants salary his entire working life, that takes the kind of inner strength most of us just don't have. Take off your hats when Joe ambles by, there goes a hero my son.
As #22 says, this parasite is the kind of stupid slob who never had to break a sweat to earn a dollar so destroying an expensive car by operating it like a child with a tantrum, means nothing to him. He can't comprehend how to do it correctly and he doesn't care. After all he just swung a deal with some Chinese communists for $2 billion. He can buy a bunch of vaporware Corvettes and destroy all of them if he wants to. BTW, the only reason anyone ever beat him in a race is because they cheated, and they knew how to race.
It is a true measure of how absolutely evil and insane anyone has to be to not just vote for this creep, but to be happy to do it.

When are Boeing and Airbus coming out with the prototypes for their electric passenger planes? The ones that can fly across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Nonstop. Oh yeah, and those Mach II electric powered military fighters and interceptors for the Air Force and the Navy.
Like wise Caterpillar and John Deere and Komatsu are developing electric powered heavy equipment for construction?

Once again, Plugs trying to sound macho and getting it wrong...…….as usual. The term is called "speed shifting" dumbass. It's a drag racing technique of not letting off the accelerator when upshifting a manual transmission to a higher gear.
If you looked up the word "buffoon" in the dictionary, I swear there would be a picture of this guy.

I had to look up "flat shit" - never heard it before so it must be a Yankee term
Speed shift or power shift is the terminology I grew up with and anyone who would "flat shift" a classic 'vette is an idiot. But considering the source...

He's just a Regular Guy, Man.
Gotta' admit, if good quarter mile times are your thing, electric may be the way to go. For the rest of us who travel 300+ miles to see kids and other relatives - - not so much.
If it's from Biden's mouth, it's a lie anyway.
