Citing the “ratings scheme” and an obsession with Trump, among other things, an MSNBC producer who recently resigned from the network, penned an open letter on her personal website explaining her reasoning.“July 24th was my last day at MSNBC. I don’t know what I’m going to do next exactly but I simply couldn’t stay there anymore,” Ariana Pekary wrote. “My colleagues are very smart people with good intentions. The problem is the job itself. It forces skilled journalists to make bad decisions on a daily basis.”Citing her background in public radio, Pekary said

I do not believe the people at MSNBC have "good intentions ". No one who cares about the country or it's people or who even cares about the idea of objective journalism could do what they do.

Unlike the MSNBC producer, I don't believe that people at her network (and CNN, NYT WAPO, etc.) have "good intentions." I believe they have very bad intentions and have followed through on that intent to the extent that our country has been misinformed and misled by these degenerates and faces the real prospect of major threats to to future of our nation and its constitution.

I do not believe the people at NBC or its affiliates have good intentions. NBC is anti-America.
MSNBC stays afloat financially because of bundled channel cable TV subscriptions from which MSNBC takes in a billion dollars a year from cable TV subscribers who never watch their propaganda.

Smart people with good intentions do not screw their faces up with hatred when they are spouting obvious lies in an attempt to mislead the public. I'm sure Ariana was just trying to spare their feelings but they are not worth it, they are unpalatable dirt.

Anyone who believes that the likes of Rachel Madcow has good intentions needs some psychiatric help. She is escaping a cult a also needs to be de-programmed.
Not to mention that she’s about to be canceled, perhaps violently, by the mob she used to support.

I read this woman's statement, and I'm not impressed - her big gripe is she's upset that there isn't more coverage of Joe Biden over Donald Trump, and she wanted to push mail-in voting.

She didn't get the more cowbell she wanted, so she quit. I know what she could do next exactly; move to Minneapolis and give the terrorists she loves her cash, her cell phone AND more cowbell.

Thank you, above poster, for the link to Pekary's blog. I read her statement of why she stepped away. I'm probably old enough to be her grandmother, but she shows promise as an emerging adult. About to formulate a response to her, I totally dropped the idea. She stated that news should teach and inform. That is silly. Inform me if you can, but what you are teaching me to do is switch channels. (Also, not to respond to random blogs.)

FTA - "“‘We are a cancer and there is no cure,’".
So, how soon then will the msm die and go away? As soon as Americans who continue to consume the msm's news product stop consuming the msm's news product. Chances of this happening anytime soon? {crickets}
Ariana, while it is commendable that you woke up and stepped away from your evil employer, I find it rather strange how you can disapprove of your employer's political stance while disapproving of the President's handling of the COVID pandemic. Understand that it is your dim-controlled state and local governments who are supposed to have their hand on the switch. This is where your political cancer starts.

Oddly, news professionals are more honest about exposing their crookedness than hard-working FBI agents...

The more MicroSoft NBC talks about President Trump the better he looks to me.

The real problem is the pursuit of ratings? Toto, I don't think we're on NPR anymore...
And if you think we're in a "civil rights crisis," you're too stupid to hold a megaphone, much less to broadcast.

The real joke is calling MSNBC a news network. I likened it to the TV version of Mad Magazine. Rachel Madcow seems to want to say "What, me worry ?"

Well ... the concentration camp guard finally saw so much horror she finally threw up and quit. Perfectly willing to stay, however, if they just didn't go so far.
Stew in your own juices sweetheart, you deserve it. After years of going along with the horror, you can't just turn on a dime and expect applause. Great that you woke up and now you might repent and save your own soul ... but ... why did you go there in the first place?

#5, remember how deliriously excited Maddow was when she thought she had some hitherto unreleased Trump tax documents?
Pekary was a producer. She had been in the position to make programming decisions. She was nothing more than a cog in the leftwing media machine rolling along down the road to one-Party dictatorship.

If their sole focus is ratings than they are complete failures. They are the lowest rated cable news network in the country. This woman doesn’t know what she is talking about.

The broadcast people long ago went far beyond admitting that they were in the tank for the left. We no longer talk about bias, we now see naked partisanship from the so called "information Media". They don't even bother to defend their dishonesty, it is merely a "given". Anybody who gets most or all of his/her news from TV, major "news" papers or even entertainment vehicles is getting the most gigantic snow job in the history of information. This is how leftists can look at their beyond slanted presentations and still try to sell them to the public. The emperor truly has no clothes on.
