Windermere, Fla.–Two men were beaten to death and a woman was seriously injured late Thursday during an attack at a home in a gated Windermere community while a 10-year-old boy called authorities while hiding in a bathroom, police said. The double homicide happened at a home in the 2900 block of Sunbittern Court in the Lake Crescent Reserve community, which is just south of Lake Crescent and north of Park Avenue and Lake Butler Boulevard. Windermere police said Ezekiel Emanuel Hopkins pushed the community’s gate open with his car then tried to steal a car from the home when he was confronted

Comments:

Repeat felon Ezekiel Emanuel Hopkins didn't get word about Julyteenth, when bLACK Lives Matter, our culture is upended and erased, and when there's no longer a need to beat WHITE people to death with a bat while their terrified grandson hides in the bathroom calling 9-1-1. Too bad there was no White Hispanic on the patrol in the gated community.

OH MY SQUASH! The baseball bat did it! Quick! Ban baseball bats NOW!!! P.S. Since we're canceling things left and right, it's high time we canceled the "culprits" in Clue. You can leave the weapons and the rooms, but obviously since the weapons ALWAYS commit the crimes, it's time to revamp the game to make it more "accurate."

I am generally not a believer in the death penalty - but in Hopkins case I'll make an exception. I only wish it did not take so damn long. He entered the house with a bat which equals premeditation. He could just as easily disabled the men as kill them but chose the latter. He deserves nothing but the ending of his life- painfully.

In the Orlando Sentinel, the article said that the Ocoee Police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the same area but the vehicle fled upon approach of the police. The Ocoee Police did not give chase. They did not answer if the Suspect was the driver but it seems so. Could it be if they had chased this suspicious vehicle two innocent citizens would be alive today.

They took an incident where people were on their side and they turned it into an incident where they proved themselves idiots. Who will march and riot for these 2 white men killed by this criminal?

The University of Pennsylvania recently received $3 million from a company reportedly owned by a Chinese Communist Party-linked businessman, according to a report. The Philadelphia school’s spokesman Stephen McCarthy told the Washington Free Beacon the cash came from a Chinese citizen named Xin Zhou, who McCarthy said was a “large client” of UPenn’s business school. But the paper said it actually came from Shanghai real estate developer Xu Xeuqing, who has no connection to the university. The funds flowed through the Hong Kong-registered Nice Famous Corporation Limited company, which Xu reportedly owns. The Beacon reports that UPenn has received $61 million

Catching coronavirus on public transport is far less likely than once feared, fresh data suggests. Trains, buses and planes were earmarked as potential Covid-19 hotspots by experts around the world at the start of the crisis. This is because Covid-19 thrives in enclosed indoor spaces with little ventilation and densely packed crowds of people. But research suggests that, if masks are worn and social distancing is adhered to, the chance of the virus spreading on public transport is minimal. Contact tracing studies looking into hundreds of Covid-19 clusters in France, Austria and Japan linked fewer than 1 per cent

The Portland Police Bureau said Saturday that the shooting occurred around 11.08pm outside an apartment building near the 600 block of NE 87th Avenue. A woman was struck in the arm by one of the rounds, police said. Responding officers applied a tourniquet and she was transported to the hospital by ambulance with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported to police; however, bullets struck at least eight occupied apartments and seven vehicles.

Members of a Northwest D.C. community are reviving an effort to remove from a fountain the name of a village founder who supported segregation. The Chevy Chase Circle Fountain has the name of Francis Newlands etched in stone along with a plaque. Newlands, who was a former U.S. Senator representing Nevada, ran the Chevy Chase Land Co. during the 1890s and developed Chevy Chase with the intention of making it an entirely white area. The structure, also known as the Francis Griffith Newlands Memorial Fountain, reveals the words “NEWLANDS MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN” chiseled into the stone in his honor. The National Audubon Society is re-examining and confronting the racist and slave-owning past of its namesake. The non-profit environmental organization, dedicated to the conservation of birds and other wildlife, was founded in 1905 and named in honor of Franco-American ornithologist John James Audubon. Audubon is perhaps most famous for illustrating birds in their natural habitats and publishing his book, Birds of America, as a series in sections between 1827 and 1838. But an often glossed-over part of Audubon's history is that he owned many slaves, sold them to others, and saw black and indigenous people as being inferior

On Aug. 1, 1945, 12-year-old Hideko Sudo went to bed fully clothed and full of worry. For days, air raid alerts had left the coastal city of Toyama on edge, prompting her school's closure. More alarmingly, earlier that day, American planes had rained down leaflets warning of an imminent attack. Hideko's fears proved well-founded. Despite a sophisticated alert system and a decade of air defense drills, the arrival just after midnight of a wave of B-29 bombers plunged Toyama into chaos. Superfortresses — 173 of them — encountered only sparse antiaircraft fire as they released around 1,500 tons of incendiaries onto the city's center.

President Trump has been speaking out against mail-in voting for weeks now. Democrats know it is easier to cheat and steal votes when a state moves to mail-in voting. It’s the reason Nevada Democrats on Saturday passed mail-in voting and ballot harvesting in their special session just 97 days before the national election. They know it’s easier to cheat that way. President Trump posted this video earlier this week that shows how corrupt and flawed the mail-in voting process is in America today. [Video] But Marco Rubio sided with Democrats today.
