The Trump administration has awarded Kodak a $765 million government loan under the Defense Production Act to help speed the domestic manufacturing of certain medical drugs.A new division, Kodak Pharmaceuticals, is expected to create 350 jobs, senior administration officials said during a call with reporters Tuesday. The move is billed as part of a larger effort to secure a United States supply of critical pharmaceutical ingredients and modernize the Strategic National Stockpile. The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, the agency that engineered the deal, has been working with the Department of Defense to relocate important supply chains out of China for months at the president's direction.

#7, I, too,. would have wanted another state to get the deal. however. Kodak -which is the modern day equivalent of a buggy whip factory of 100 years ago, has the physical plant to start the new manufacturing. Undoubtedly, the completely incompetent Andrew Cuomo will take credit, as will Chuckie Schumer.

Picking NY will not win him that state. There are other states that can use the jobs and who appreciate this president. Schmuck and Cuomo might stop taking shots at him for one news cycle, while they pat themselves on the back, but then they'll be right back trashing him. He should announce that he was going to put it in NYC, but because of DeBlabos street art and AOCs distaste for anything that would create jobs, he kept it out of the city.

Have you heard anyone say that the threat America faces is from Communism? I don’t mean before the Berlin Wall fell. I mean now. In 2020. I know you have. But it’s strange, isn’t it? The D.C. Court of Appeals has agreed to rehear the case against retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the court announced on Thursday. The court’s decision prolongs an already three-year legal battle between Flynn and Department of Justice that federal prosecutors asked to be closed with all charges dropped back in May. Federal District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan denied a request to immediately dismiss the case and instead brought in a retired judge to assess and potentially continue the prosecution. Admiration for George W. Bush doesn’t win you much praise in today’s Republican Party, but I don’t care. On Thursday former President George W. Bush attended and delivered a speech at the late Congressman John Lewis’s funeral. George W. Bush had every reason not to attend Lewis’s funeral, let alone eulogize him. Lewis may have been a famed civil rights leader, but he was also a bitter partisan Democrat congressman, who boycotted both of Bush’s inaugurations. Bush barely mentioned the political division between him and Lewis. “John and I had our disagreements of course,” Bush said.
