A Qualcomm shareholder has sued the company’s corporate directors for failing to bring Blacks onto the board or into top executive roles while repeatedly touting diversity efforts in public. The lawsuit, which comes in the wake of widespread Black Lives Matter protests over racial inequality, is one of three shareholder derivative legal actions recently filed against technology giants by the law firm of Bottini & Bottini in La Jolla. Other tech firms sued this month include Oracle Corp., on allegations similar to the Qualcomm suit, and Facebook on claims that it has no African Americans among its senior executives.

Because they’re only 1 out of 8 of us!
12.5%
So you should see 7 non blacks before you see one....EVERYWHERE... and yet that is even clouded by their 73% bastid rate
Seventy-three per cent
3 out of 4 of them!
Come on man!
They’re not 50% or 40% or 30% or even 20%
They’re only ONE out of EIGHT!
12.5%
Caucasians are 73%!!!!
You blacks are the minority
Is that really so hard to comprehend?
I guess they don’t “do maf ” so well....

Does every grain of sand have to have a black spot on it? Since whites are hated so much, why live and work around them?

Tech firms don't even want to hire home grown STEM graduates preferring to bring in cheap Asian labor.

Beyond their percentage in the general population, how many African Americans are there enrolled in engineering and computer science schools in college? There aren't that many.

FTA: "Blacks make up just 1.5 percent of Qualcomm employees — three times less than the 4.6 percent of workers with Hispanic heritage."
Note that there is no mention of qualifications to be employed by Qualcomm.
Qualcomm is a high-tech company that hires engineers and physical scientists. What is the percent of engineers and physical scientists who are black?
Why is any disparity automatically attributed to race and nothing else?

Diversity in business should be based on qualifications and competence not skin color. Someone should sue because they don’t have a paraplegic Hispanic woman with Down’s syndrome on the board while they are at it.

About a decade ago, I noticed that a lot of companies suddenly had one woman on their board of directors. Most were college professors. Around the same time, a black would appear on the board. The blacks were almost always the principal/founder of their own consulting firm specializing in diversity. The rest of the BOD was old white guys who were former CEOs of Fortune 500 companies or retired politicians. The difference was telling. The woman and the black were obvious tokens while the real heft on the BOD was the old white guys.

I know in the past that Qualcomm was also legendary in San Diego for its rigorous hiring tests that eliminated a large percentage of highly educated electrical engineers of all stripes with graduate degrees before they ever got in the door. This also explains the very high number of Asian engineers in their ranks who came with the right math and abstract information theory background to master CDMA microchip design problems that made QCOM the leader in its field.

Wow, for a judge to actually have the cajones to throw this bogus case out, and charge the man who filed it for court costs.
But in these woke times, it will never happen!!!

Asians are not hired because they are cheap labor, it's because Asians and Indians are superior technical people and don't make a mad dash for the door at five p.m.

Another black quota. Is there anything besides the current mantra to "exempt blacks from all laws so the feral animals can do what they want" that they haven't gotten?

Ummm.... boards of directors rarely run the day to day operations of any company. This is why you get the Biden Hunters of the world put on these boards. Many large companies are looking for big well connected names to put on the letterhead. Just being black, asian, hispanic, female etc is not enough. You must bring a political backer with you.

Bottini & Bottini in La Jolla is the definition of scumb@g lawyers. They are nothing but high tech ambulance chasing parasites. Funny, it does not appear that any of their lawyers is black.http://www.bottinilaw.com/our-attorneys (I even searched and found photos of them all) Their list of recently filed lawsuits is long. They are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson style shakedown artists with a law degree. They are exactly who Shakespeare was speaking of.

Since these tech firms tend to be far left, it’s actually nice to see them being eaten by their own. Rush frequents a lot of tech blogs and says that they are filled with foul mouthed ultra leftist children.
