The New York Times is standing by a February 2017 report alleging that Trump associates were in communication with Russian intelligence officers, even after the release of an internal FBI memo that identified numerous inaccuracies in the story.
“We stand by our reporting,” New York Times spokeswoman Eileen Murphy told her own paper for its report on the newly released documents.
Attorney General William Barr declassified two documents this week related to the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign. One released Friday is a 57-page memo of interviews that dossier author Christopher Steele’s primary source conducted with the FBI in January 2017.

Of COURSE they stand by their "reporting". If they were to admit that "Russia,Russia, Russia" was yet another fake news conspiracy, the whole house of cards would collapse. Almost all of the media's stated vitriol has origins in Trump being a bad man colluding with Russia to beat the chosen one, Hillary. If THAT meme was false, then Trump pushing back on it and calling out the media about it was justified. It would be proven that the media ARE enemies of America. Russian collusion is the pig wallow that media returns to every day. It's where they feel comfortable (and justified) as they sit in the mud and where they can get slops to feed on.
The problem is, the wallow is drying up. Evidence is mounting of unethical and likely criminal behavior in BO's administration spread throughout the bureaucracy and with willing collusion by the media. Every time media and idiots like Schiffty bray about "Russian Collusion" it sounds weaker, dumber, and more unbelievable. That's why we have riots now, as a distraction. For every movie the Left releases to public indifference, they move on to another movie, desperately seeking audience approval (votes).

What did you expect them to do, admit they were lying? It's easier to just go on lying.

You mean the "newspaper" started by slave owners and run by descendants of slave owners?
They stand by their false reporting. Anyone surprised? It is called Fake News and it is the enemy of the people.

"We stand by our reporting" is now what it always has been; a last ditch effort to rally the faithful to the banner when it is obvious to truth seekers that there is no truth to be found in a report. Papers like the Slimes, Boston Glop, Washington Compost, etc use this rescuing device because in former days they had a reservoir of unearned and often deeply misplaced trustworthiness and credibility that they have, like old money leeches, wasted until there's nothing left but IOU's and nearly empty facades of once opulent but now crumbling edifices.

It used to be called the ''Battered Wife Syndrome.'' The NYT is the battered wife of the democrats. They have been battered for so many decades that they are starting to like it!

It just proves that the NYT will report what it wants to report. And the readers of the NYT are fine with it. They are also misinformed. Their readers have the longest scholarly comments to their articles......spectacularly showing their actual ignorance.

History has proven that sometimes people in a position of power and influence become so numbed in their biased beliefs that they will never reconsider what they participated in. The NYT and their liberal, pro-democrat cronies will never give an objective thought to their attempts to destroy our country. Even the Nazi leadership reaffirmed pride in their effort to murder millions of Jews as they stood on the gallows at Nuremberg before the floor below them gave way.

The frustrating part, this is released late on a Friday, and Trump has his interview with Chris Wallace, which ends up being the story the "news" people want to cover.
And, the edit parts of the interview are, of course, all negative, and designed to make Trump look bad, and by connection any Republican.

Socialist know that repeating a lie over and over, and over will eventually become the truth is not considered. A lie will travel around the world twice before the truth gets it's shoes on. An insincere apology is the same as manipulation and that's what socialist do.
